Electrolux EHD68210P / EHD90230P Questions & Answers
VerifiedNear new electrolux normal ceramic cooktop. Even when it is locked it makes its own mind to turn off and getting it turned back on takes some time!!!!!. The time it takes to heat up is astounding, while the fast heat up function is usually results in burn food as it is very hot for a very long time. Any ideas?
have a EHD90230P what does E9 mean
no answers ?????????????????
maybe it means Expended 9lives
E9 Error would mean a user interface control board fault. If still faulting then the user control board needs to be replaced generally or contact authorized service center. I wouldn’t keep trying to use it - you could run the risk of the board taking out other components.
thank you
No worries. Give Electrolux a call on 13 13 49 and they can give you the details for your local service agent. I’ve had my cooktop for 8 years now and only had one issue with an incorrectly wired terminal block when we moved the cooktop from one house to another, it was too good to leave behind. The electrician fixed it up pretty quickly. Guess I’ve just been very lucky! Best of luck, could you post your outcome so it may help others?
We have had ours for 10 years. no trouble till now.
Hello,
Our Electrolux Induction Cooktop Model EHD68210P has suddenly died... There are 2 error messages. The first one was E 8 and, as per the manual, turning the power off and on several times at the source, we have a repeated E1 error message.
Would you please advise the meaning of these errors and cost of repair please. We reside in Altona VIC 3018.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind reply.
Regards, Richard Saul

E3 error
I have just moved into a house with this stove-top and I can't work out how to use it. The power comes on, and it makes a beep when I press the heat setting, but then it switches itself off. I have the manual and have read through it but I can't work out why it isn't working. Help?!

Please advice how to fix the broken glass for cook top induction EHD90230P?
Can glass be replaced or replace all lot?
Please give a quote for glass and labor work.
Many thanks,
Loan Pham
Hi Loan Pham. If the unit still works then just the glass can be replaced. My understanding is that the glass costs around $425aud and labour approx $145. I hope that helps. Regards, Julia.
I have a hotplate with two induction and two radiation areas. The two induction areas will not heat up until I have had one of the radiation areas on for three minutes. I have contacted the area service person for this unit and been told it is due to a transistor problem. This part would cost $500 plus cost of installation and therefore I should just discard my cook top and buy a new one. I did expect my cook top to last longer than six years. Can you suggest an alternative to this suggestion?
never buy Electrolux again. lucky you got 6 yrs
