This vacuum works great on both carpet & hardwood floors, which is surprising considering it operates at less than 1/3 the noise. You can literally have a conversation while using it ;-}

Bought this after my poor Dyson died and can’t believe how quiet it is. The amount of suction it has is wonderful and makes my carpets look new again.Works well on tiles and comes with an extra turbo brush for built up dirt in carpets. Easy to turn on and never tips over.

This is an amazing little vacuum cleaner with surprising suction power. I have hardwood floors and only ever use 1/2 of the suction power. It picks up all sorts of dust and has a HEP filter which gives me extra peace of mind as it filters the air while I vacuum. The best thing I've found is the easy to empty bin. Emptying the transparent dust collector bin of all the dust etc is very satisfying.

Got my vacuum delivered yesterday. Looks good.. in under 10 minutes, the turbo brush broke inside with a rattling noise!!!!
Bollocks Electrolux.. the normal multi floor brush head is good.. just bloody disappointed that the turbo head came apart almost straight away..!!!

Rarely used this vacuum cleaner and surprise suprise, after the 24 month warranty period it conveniently doesn't turn on. It's pretty noisy. Be prepared to throw it in the trash after warranty. Support claims there's probably too much dust in the filters and to drop it off at a service centre for repairs. Not buying anything electrolux in future

I have a house with carpets and laminate floor and was noticing my old second hand Dyson was not keeping up anymore. I wanted a replacement but did not want spend $800 dollars plus on a new Dyson. Did some research and this came up as having postive reviews. I used it first on my shagpile mat and OMG the cannister was full in 2 minutes that's how much dust and dog hair my Dyson had been missing.
Pros:
This vacuum is very powerful on max setting but still easy to push. You can also adjust the power.
It came with the normal head and the turbo he...

The joint between brush head & tube crack in less than 6 mths
Overall it is a good vacuum that do its job for both hard floor and carpet.
The wire is very long and the vacuum is light to carry around.
Just surprise that the quality of the parts are so bad that it crack in less than 6 mths.
The wheel is also very bad as I struggle to move it around instead of following me smoothly like the Nilfisk I own previously.
Got a replacement parts after contacting the Warranty department. The replacement arrived within a few days which is fast based on current COVID situation.
The component seem to be a bad design when I compare with my older vacuum which lack of that extra click which I believe will break again soon....

Works well to pick up pet hair and dust and is easy to empty and clean - quiet but not silent
Bought the Electrolux SilentPerformer Animal (ZSP4303PET) from the Good Guys on 2 January 2021.
We use it on hard wood floors, vinyl flooring and tiles as well as curtains and upholstery. As we have two mainly inside Staffordshire Terrier dogs and an inside only Ragdoll cat there is a lot of pet hair for the vacuum to deal with as well as everyday dust. So far the vaccum has performed very well, it picks up all the hair, dust and fluff, we use it daily and need to empty it every couple of days. Emptying and cleaning the vacuum is very easy, t...

There isn't anything silent about this vacuum except in the name. Nozzle jumps like a frog when cleaning and broke exactly after warranty expired. Cant even replace nozzle as it is discontinued and I just have to throw the vacuum away. Worst ever vacuum.

This machine only worked properly for the first few times. It seemed to clog easily - manually having to clean out each of the many cylinders each time. Then it stopped working. (It seemed to overheat like a hairdryer). Because of the pandemic, Godfreys wouldn't fix, exchange, refund. I had to buy a new machine and now I'm stuck. Save your money

NOT silent. Sucks good, until it breaks down. Warranty is FAKE.
I do not know why they call this silent, it's actually as loud as any other vacuum cleaner. It does suck well. However, motor breaks down at 10 months. Warranty claim was refused. Said it was due to poor maintenance of filters. They expect you to clear the filter after each use or else warranty is void. Basically, they could use this clause on anything. They could even refuse your claim if the motor breaks down on the very first use.

Economical vacuum cleaner with minimal quality accessories
This Electrolux vacuum cleaner was ideal for our budget as a spare machine at home. The 3-1 in-one-tool I found wasn't as effective as individual tools. Poorly designed 3-1 accessory and difficult to use. Compatible replacement bags are hard to find at local suppliers. Had to buy from Electrolux website. The tube to vacuum is very thin plastic and can kink when changing directions. The rear roller wheels are small so they won't roll easily over power cord. Hence you have to bend down and lift vacuum off cord when changing direction. Overall good suction. The retractable power cord mechanism could be more powerful preferably. Good length of power cord.
I purchased this vacuum last month from Good Guys. I have a house which is all timber hardwood floors and some floor tiles. I have previously owned Dyson Upright and Dyson Barrel vacuums. Prior to this purchase, I had sold my previous Dyson barrel when I purchased a Dyson V10 stick - big mistake. The stick is hopeless for anything other than small areas. It am CONSTANTLY having to take apart the head to clean it an remove debris. I hate it. The barrel I sold was a great vacuum.
Alas, I needed a better vacuum than the stick, but did not want t...
Read moreo purchase a Dyson again. After reviewing several, the one I actually wanted (A Miele C3 Family) was not available anywhere in Brisbane. I ended up with the Electrolux. What a machine. Seriously. This thing is perfect for my needs. The suction is insane, but is easily dialed back for rugs and carpets, it is certainly not silent but I really dont care about that. I was concerned about using a bagged vacuum for the first time since I was a kid. My concern was unfounded. Bags are not the cardboard crap they used to be. These things last a long time and keep the dirt and dust very secure. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone considering it. Downsides. I have one complaint about this vacuum. The 3in1 tool for upholstery etc is absolute junk! I dont know if mine is defective, but is falls apart EVERY time I use it, and it is very difficult to get back together. (see second picture - it is the fold out bits that fall off). I understand why they have tried a tool like this, as there is no onboard storage on the main unit (this horrible thing clips poorly to the main wand). However, it is beyond crap. I am currently looking for an alternative from Electrolux that will fit.Purchased in at The Good Guys for $299.

Worst product I have ever purchased and Electrolux customer care was woeful! Good guys reused to replace it and made me call Electrolux myself to try and get resolution which was a waste of time too. They absolutely didn't care at all.... Be warned and don't buy Electrolux anything!
Questions & Answers
Anyone know where you can purchase bags for this model?
How does upholstery nozzle fit onto vacuum? Tried all obvious possibilities
Are you trying to fit it onto the silver pipe or the plastic nozzle on the hose? Mine fits on the hose nozzle.
Took out the front filter to clean it. A VERY lose fitting 'O' ring flopped out. Washed filter and now cannot get it back in with the O ring flopping around in there. Surely it should be a close fit under the rim of the filter? What is the solution?
