Terrible – Worst vacuum cleaner ever in 40 yrs of buying household products. Only used a handful of times, overheated every time and now just stopped working. Cleaned after every use but why? Should not have to. No suction whatsoever, thought there must be a blockage, no blockage. I am returning to get money back and never will purchase Electrolux again. Get this off the market now. Show details

At Last! The Quiet Achiever – This vacuum is perfect for people who suffer from Hyperacusis; you can now vacuum pain free. Excellent on pet hair as it has the roller head attachment as well as the floor/carpet head. Plus a brush head that I haven't worked out how to attach yet. Attachments easy to use with small hands. Easy to hold and squeeze for seniors. Only drawback, no… Read more

beak nozzle for crevices. No instructions for attaching brush nozzle. After 5yrs of hell with high-pitched noise and struggling to detach hose etc (1hr upwards) in tears, I just can't believe that this new product is so good. Thank you Electrolux for considering people with Hyperacusis and small female hands.

Great wee vacuum cleaner – This vacuum cleaner was not the most expensive by far, but looked like it was quite well made. After owing 6 months my review is that it is light, powerful, has a tremendous suck, on full power it will lift the carpet up of the floor, so I only operate it on about 2/5. It is quiet, on low powers. It has bags that you have to replace which I prefer… Read more

over our other bagless vacuum. The cost of the bags is about NZ$21 for 6 bags. As it is light is can tip over when using sometimes but on the positive side, it is easy to carry upstairs. Bags are very easy to change. I do not notice any dusty smell coming from the vacuum when using. So far no problems at all

A welcome change from Dyson! – I purchased this vacuum last month from Good Guys. I have a house which is all timber hardwood floors and some floor tiles. I have previously owned Dyson Upright and Dyson Barrel vacuums. Prior to this purchase, I had sold my previous Dyson barrel when I purchased a Dyson V10 stick - big mistake. The stick is hopeless for anything other than small… Read more

areas. It am CONSTANTLY having to take apart the head to clean it an remove debris. I hate it. The barrel I sold was a great vacuum.

Alas, I needed a better vacuum than the stick, but did not want to purchase a Dyson again. After reviewing several, the one I actually wanted (A Miele C3 Family) was not available anywhere in Brisbane. I ended up with the Electrolux. What a machine. Seriously. This thing is perfect for my needs. The suction is insane, but is easily dialed back for rugs and carpets, it is certainly not silent but I really dont care about that. I was concerned about using a bagged vacuum for the first time since I was a kid. My concern was unfounded. Bags are not the cardboard crap they used to be. These things last a long time and keep the dirt and dust very secure.

I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone considering it.

Downsides. I have one complaint about this vacuum. The 3in1 tool for upholstery etc is absolute junk! I dont know if mine is defective, but is falls apart EVERY time I use it, and it is very difficult to get back together. (see second picture - it is the fold out bits that fall off). I understand why they have tried a tool like this, as there is no onboard storage on the main unit (this horrible thing clips poorly to the main wand). However, it is beyond crap. I am currently looking for an alternative from Electrolux that will fit.

The joint between brush head & tube crack in less than 6 mths – Overall it is a good vacuum that do its job for both hard floor and carpet. The wire is very long and the vacuum is light to carry around. Just surprise that the quality of the parts are so bad that it crack in less than 6 mths. The wheel is also very bad as I struggle to move it around instead of following me smoothly like the Nilfisk I own… Read more

Got a replacement parts after contacting the Warranty department. The replacement arrived within a few days which is fast based on current COVID situation. The component seem to be a bad design when I compare with my older vacuum which lack of that extra click which I believe will break again soon.

It broke again as per the 2 new pictures.

Feels like a much more premium vacuum!! – I have a house with carpets and laminate floor and was noticing my old second hand Dyson was not keeping up anymore. much dust and dog hair my Dyson had been missing. Pros: This vacuum is very powerful on max setting but still easy to push. You can also adjust the power. It came with the normal head and the turbo head for vacuuming different floor types. Very easy to maneuver around the house and lightweight. It's not silent but is quieter than my old Dyson was. Compact size, easy to store in cupboard. I was also able to buy a spare filter kit which will come in handy when I need to clean the filters. Feels good quality like a premium product. Cons: Canister is a bit on the smaller side but it's very easy to see when it's full and needs emptying. Also this is expected with a more compact machine.

Have not had for long so unsure if will last the test of time but fingers crossed!

Works well to pick up pet hair and dust and is easy to empty and clean - quiet but not silent – Bought the Electrolux SilentPerformer Animal (ZSP4303PET) from the Good Guys on 2 January 2021. We use it on hard wood floors, vinyl flooring and tiles as well as curtains and upholstery. As we have two mainly inside Staffordshire Terrier dogs and an inside only Ragdoll cat there is a lot of pet hair for the vacuum to deal with as well as… Read more

everyday dust. So far the vaccum has performed very well, it picks up all the hair, dust and fluff, we use it daily and need to empty it every couple of days. Emptying and cleaning the vacuum is very easy, the parts click out and click back in easily and the clip to open to clean it out works easily as well. It comes with a variety of attachments including a turbo head, and we are very pleased with it. The vaccum has a button to roll back the electrical cord and an accelorator lever to change the level of vacuum power. It is not a silent vacuum but slightly quieter than othe rpwoerful pet vacuums. It is also quite light and rolls easily. At this stage we have not had issues with the tubing getting clogged. A bit concnered that the clips that hold the barrel closed may break as they feel like brittle plastic, but they may be stronger than they appear. PROS picks up dust and pet hair quickly and easily comes with a variety of useful attachments easy to empty and clean fairly light rolls easily cord retraciton button accelerator power lever CONS is not silent but is slightly quieter than a non'silent performer' vaccum

This is nowhere near silent – My admin person bought this about 2 years ago after I said I wanted a quiet vacuum cleaner at work. Unfortunately, it was neither quiet nor a very good vacuum cleaner. To be fair, she was not to know this based on what this machine was said to do. It was always too loud for me. I could hear it being used through my treatment room door at work. I… Read more

used to have an Electrolux UltraSilencer and could never hear that through the door- so I will go back to that one. But my admin person liked using the SilentPerformer and she was the one doing the cleaning so I didn't really worry too much. However, now it's just me at work and I'm back to doing the cleaning (!) and this is a very noisy machine, moreso when you use the powerhead. So I use the all-floors head instead. The clean isn't as good, but at least I still have my hearing when I've finished vacuuming.

This is used on carpet and linoleum and tiles. There is probably a fair matter of dust that is walked in by my patients but this machine should be able to deal with that. It used to do a better job cleaning 2 years ago and it only gets used 2-3 times a week on average for maybe 10-15 minutes each time. The suction is getting worse. It doesn't matter if you clean the filters. This machine does NOT last the test of time. It is past the warranty date so I can't do anything about that. I just don't think it's made well. Perhaps being used in a less dusty environment may have suited the machine better?

The extension piece on the wand now gets stuck and is almost impossible to click into place after I finally manage to get it to extend. I am not 4ft tall and I don't want to bend terribly to vacuum! It even has some trouble unclipping at the head unit when I take it off to get into corners. And the back of the head struggles to glide into place on the side of the machine when you put it away now. It used to be absolutely fine to handle - but in just 2 years the ease of use has gone from good to bad.

It's very easy to unclip the dust catcher...but it makes a mess when you empty it. I really do prefer bags. It also overheats. And the cord is not long enough - and pops out of powerpoints at the slightest tug. I really am struggling to find anything good about this machine! Basically, it is NOT anywhere near silent. Noisy, in fact. I have to say, I think they lied about that one (not that I have a sound level meter to check...) but it's always been quite noisy. Now, 2 years on, it just feels like a hunk of junk.

I think a vacuum cleaner should last better than this. And I don't think it should have the word 'silent' anywhere in its name. The only way it's anywhere near vaguely 'quiet' is if you don't use the powerhead and you've got it on very low suction. And then it doesn't vacuum properly anyway! So really, there's no point to this machine. For the price, I've used far better and far quieter vacuum cleaners.

Avoid - Disposal vacuum cleaner – Rarely used this vacuum cleaner and surprise suprise, after the 24 month warranty period it conveniently doesn't turn on. It's pretty noisy. Be prepared to throw it in the trash after warranty. Support claims there's probably too much dust in the filters and to drop it off at a service centre for repairs. Powerful suction - but a bit on the noisy side – This is an amazing little vacuum cleaner with surprising suction power. I have hardwood floors and only ever use 1/2 of the suction power. It picks up all sorts of dust and has a HEP filter which gives me extra peace of mind as it filters the air while I vacuum. The best thing I've found is the easy to empty bin. Emptying the transparent dust collector bin of all the dust etc is very satisfying. Show details

Terrible - (And dont buy from Godfreys) – This machine only worked properly for the first few times. It seemed to clog easily - manually having to clean out each of the many cylinders each time. Then it stopped working. (It seemed to overheat like a hairdryer). Because of the pandemic, Godfreys wouldn't fix, exchange, refund. I had to buy a new machine and now I'm stuck. NOT silent. Sucks good, until it breaks down. Warranty is FAKE – I do not know why they call this silent, it's actually as loud as any other vacuum cleaner. It does suck well. However, motor breaks down at 10 months. Warranty claim was refused. Said it was due to poor maintenance of filters. They expect you to clear the filter after each use or else warranty is void. Basically, they could use this clause on anything. They could even refuse your claim if the motor breaks down on the very first use. Show details

Economical vacuum cleaner with minimal quality accessories – This Electrolux vacuum cleaner was ideal for our budget as a spare machine at home. The 3-1 in-one-tool I found wasn't as effective as individual tools. Poorly designed 3-1 accessory and difficult to use. Compatible replacement bags are hard to find at local suppliers. Overall good suction. The retractable power cord mechanism could be more powerful preferably. Good length of power cord.

Good little vacuum – Use this little vacuum on carpets to collect pet hair. Does a fantastic job, and I love it's filter system. Only down side is that the canister fills too quick and the internal filters also need regular washing otherwise it stops working. Oh and the clips on the poles are plastic and easy to break. Show details

Neither Quiet nor Good Performer – Shops urge consumers to post reviews immediately after buying. They do this in order to push as many units through the door as possible by people reading 'positive' reviews of goods which have been owned for usually a matter of days. I… Read more

have had this vacuum cleaner now for 18 months. It is not particularly quiet; pretty much average as per noise levels. The worst thing about it is that the performance gets steadily worse over the months till when you get to this stage the suction is about nil. The design is poor: the release switch for wand extension has to be pushed up toward the body instead of the more natural movement of down toward the head. It overheats if you try to pick up anything larger than a couple of centimetres and you must allow it to cool down overnight. So basically it does not do what it says it does on both of these selling points.

I would not recommend buying this vacuum cleaner unless you want your life to become an endless cycle of buying a new vacuum cleaner every 18 months.
