Flooring easy to assemble and looks amazing..that’s the first part. Second is the awesome customer service we received from multiple people in the team. Our order was sent to a remote community so we knew it wasn’t going to be a fast shipping time. After realising there was a problem with the courier the team were quick to chase it up and were… Read more
really friendly in the process. The delay wasn’t at fault of the company just a processing problem on the road, great company and will be sure to use them again for future Reno projects!
Amazing quality at extremely competitive prices – I have had Flooring Onlines ‘Mink Grey’ engineered floors installed in my apartment. After 1 month of moving in furniture and living in the apartment, the floors still look THIS amazing, even without having cleaned the floor once yet. They feel like real, luxury timber under feet and have a beautiful pre finish, so I am also able to save by not… Read more · 1
spending money on finishing/coating products. Will be recommending to anyone looking to design their space.
Highly recommend Embelton and St Tropez – I would choose Embelton for my flooring everytime. Their St Tropez engineered timber came out better than I could have imagined. The flooring in my house looks amazing and the amount of compliments I have received has been extraordinary. It makes my house feel like a home and I can’t recommend Embelton and this product enough. Couldn’t be happier! – After purchasing a home in need of renovation, I knew the white tiles had to go and timber flooring was needed to add some warmth. After hearing about Embelton from a friend I purchased online and couldn’t be happier with the overall experience, was delivered to my door with great communication from the customer service team. We chose the 14mm… Read more · 1
Blonde Oak which is one of their more expensive products but well priced compared to others on the market, worth the extra money. Highly recommend!
Disgusted – After having our new Embelton engineered floor laid, the board ends started to lift after three months. We notified the builder, floor layer and Embetons, [Name Removed] came and said he would take our spare boards for testing. He lost the boards? It is now over two years. After numerous phone calls and e mails after threatening going to VCAT,… Read more
[Name Removed] said that sanding would fix the problem, it made it worse. Then we employed a independent floor consultant to inspect and write a report, this clearly identified the problem being the boards having a faulty locking system and would need the floor to be replaced. All this time [Name Removed] refused to communicate with us directly all correspondence was to go through the floor layer. We then contacted Consumer Affairs, they advised we write a letter of complaint requesting a reply within ten working days, after getting no response they then advised we fill out the on line form with Domestic building Dispute Resolution Vic. This we have done and have a case file number and awaiting their next contact. If this cannot be resolved they then help you take the complaint to VCAT this is where we are at now. We believe [Name Removed] had no intention of ever replacing the floor and was dragging it out hoping we would go away. We suggest if you are having a similar problem you follow this course and warn others of this type of treatment by Embelton Floors.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Terrible product & service (Embelton Atlantis Hybrid) – We purchased Atlantis Hybrid flooring from Kelwin Coastal Carpets on the Sunshine Coast only last year (06/2020) and right from the retailer under measuring our requirements by 20m2, I have had nothing but an awful experience from the retailer, the product itself and the manufacturer. We have significant expansion and contraction in both in our… Read more
dining room and kitchen where the boards butt up against the cabinetry. As can be seen from the images, in some places this is in excess of 10mm.
Both the retailer and the manufacturer refuse to accept responsibility.
I've been advised by multiple retailers since that they refuse to stock the product based on the same issue.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Highly recommend – Very happy with our choice of Embelton oak flooring- great quality and looks stylish. Installers were great to deal with, however the only negative was a few delays with delivery. Show reply
Quality flooring – We chose an Oak Engineered board for our house; four years on the timber looks as good as new. Really hard wearing and easy to keep clean. James and the team were very professional and really easy to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending their products. Show reply
Looks fabulous! – We chose Embelton's laminate Australian longboard for the entire downstairs living area and so happy that we did. We opted to lay the flooring ourselves and it was easy. It clipped together beautifully . More than six years later and we are still very happy with the result. It is easy to clean and looks fabulous. Show reply

Terrible company to deal with won't honour genuine product warranty claim – We had the Embletons Plantino Oak, Pompeii boards installed in our new house in 2016 Shenton Park WA by a licensed installer There was significant fading of the boards from sunlight within a couple of years which was a huge disappointment Tried to organise a warranty inspection with Embletons twice however they refused putting the onus on us to… Read more
get the installer to lodge a claim who was not contactable and potentially is not longer operating as a business
Would never buy any product from this company again
WOW wishing we had read these reviews. Our story is almost exactly same – Reviews I've just read, are so similar to our story, BUT we wont be backing down. Mark my words. The thought of my gorgeous family home looking shabby due to rubbish bamboo floors. They have not heard the last from us. To Be Continued. Don't please don't buy flooring from this company, salesman pitch " 25 Year Warranty" load of rubbish
Appalling Product and Company – Had Embelton Hybrid floor installed. Once installed, boards with light shining on them had what appeared to be faulty machine marks all through them, we contacted installers and they organised for Embelton operations manager to inspect floor. His response was that he had never seen a that particular product laid but he assumed it was… Read more
"embossing", therefore a deliberate feature of the boards. We then received a letter from Embelton via the installer stating that there was nothing wrong with the floor, it was in the pattern. A pattern we had not seen in any samples either in store or when we brought boards home to look at them on site. There was no way we were going to have such an awful product in our home. We took the floor up and low and behold, quite a number of the boards were obviously faulty because - THERE WAS NO "EMBOSSING". So the boards are either faulty because of the marks or because of the lack thereof, but however it is looked at, the floor was faulty and Embelton simply walked away. We have since learned that the response we received is the typical response from Embelton. We were able to have our money refunded from the installer because they damaged 54 boards while laying the floor therefore voiding warranty on our hidious floor, so that was another reason it had to come up. We are now starting again with a reputable company. So buyer beware, do your homework and use another company and product.

Disappointed – I was so excited when we purchased the Hardwood Plus Blackbutt flooring for our new home. I have had Hardwood (real hardwood - not engineered) and laminate in previous homes. I am so disappointed in this so called highest quality timber flooring Embelton claim it to be. After having it layed throughout our home, it has come up looking cheap and… Read more
artificial. The thickness/height of the boards don't even match up on the short joins. This is on approx 80% of the close to 200sqm layed. Embelton representative was called out by our builder/installer to have a look and they claim it's within tolerance... wow... please don't claim it to be a quality product. The much cheaper laminate we've had in the past came up better than this. So disappointed. In time the first thing to be replaced in our new home will be the flooring :(

Looks fantastic – Love our Embleton spotted gum engineered flooring. It completes the look of our house and everyone comments on it. We even did the stairs to match. Nice to walk on and easy to clean ! Show reply
Never compromise on flooring – We constructed a home with Porter Davis. We opted to do the flooring ourselves and so happy that we did. We chose Embelton's Spotted Gum timber flooring throughout the entire downstairs living area. The pictures show how spectacular they are! Very happy with the result. Show reply

Beautiful Luxury Oak floor – James and his team were great to deal with and were very patient in assisting with my indecision on the right colour. We choose Luxury Oak - Sorrento. It looks amazing, is very hard wearing and still looks as good at the day we installed it. I could not recommend them highly enough. Show reply
Fantastic product and great service! – The most beautiful, natural timber flooring on the market. Friendly assistance with choosing and excellent installation. Could not be happier with the result. The floor looks fantastic is easy to clean! Highly recommend Embleton Floors! Show reply
Wonderful! – We have Embelton Tasmanian oak flooring throughout our 2 level house and it is simply wonderful. We love it. We recently had a few questions and the prompt response and follow service was excellent. We would highly recommend Embelton. Show reply
Recommended Without Reservation – From product selection to delivery and installation the service provided was excellent. Beautiful timber boards, great service – We installed Tasmanian Oak solid timber boards in our high traffic kitchen and family room 3 years ago. Sooo glad we did! With kids and dogs running on them everyday, plus quite a few stilettos, these boards amazingly still look good as new. Great product and an Aussie family company. Show reply

AquaTuf! Extremely Impressed! – I purchased AquaTuf Native Blackbutt Flooring for two investment properties that needed a facelift. privately installed. The installer said the product was great to work with and he was even impressed with how they came up.
They are easy to clean, don’t mark and hold up well in high traffic areas (kids, pets, tenants).
I was so happy with how they came up! They are so much better than the tiles we had down before. Would highly recommend this product!

Great Flooring – I had the engineered oak installed and I couldnt be happier. the quality of service and the quality of floorboards is exceptional. They provided everything needed and were easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Embelton and will be going back soon for another project that needs to be done. Show reply
Matching floorboards – We did an extension where we needed to extend the existing floorboards into the new area. Embletons were great with finding what it was that we had and supplying the timber on time with no issues. We are now three years down the track and we still have a beautiful floor.
Still as good as the day it was laid – As part of our renovation 2 years ago, we had laminated spotted gum Embelton flooring installed over existing Baltic pine floorboards through half the house including in a dressing room abutting an ensuite wet-area. The floorboards are as good as the day they were laid and show no sign of wear even in the heavily trafficked hallway. We follow the… Read more
manufacturer's cleaning instructions (methylated spirits & water). We love the natural imperfections in the timber and have been very satisfied with the product.
Embelton Aqua-Tuf Native Blackbutt - looks amazing! – I installed Aqua-Tuf in a property of mine. I'm not a floor layer, however as a builder have experience in laying floors. This product was super easy to lay and looked amazing when finished. Thoroughly recommend.
Extremely Happy beautiful finish – My son had Embelton engineered timber flooring installed in his new house two and a half years ago and I was concerned at how it would wear in the high traffic kitchen area with him also having two large active dogs. it still looks great, is easy to clean and inspired me. I have just recently finished renovating my 30 year home and have used… Read more
Embelton’s engineered oak in colour Fawn, it has transformed my ugly duckling to look fresh and modern. it has been down for 4 months now and I couldn’t be happier with the look and quality. As with most review sites, people go to the effort to write negative opinions but don’t always take the time to post positive ones, so I thought I’d give them a shoutout!
Absolutely Floorless – From start to finish this process was a dream. We weren't quite sure the type of flooring we were going to go with on our recent renovation, but after speaking with the friendly team at Embelton we were certainly guided in the right direction. Rather than selecting from pictures, we were invited in to the show room in Coburg and taken through… Read more
an abundance of options. After a personalised showing from the delightful Di we selected engineered timber floorboards Luxury Oak - Como.
Also - i didn't realise Embelton did Acoustic Panelling. Pretty keen to get this installed in my new offices.
After selecting the boards we wanted, it was as simple as getting in touch with a local installer who was familiar with installing engineered floor boards. All boards come with an installation guide. They are packed well for ease of transport and handling.
Make sure you get the glue from Embelton as well. That way you know its the right one for your type of product and the installer will have one less thing to do.
Cant wait till we start our next project, we wont be going anywhere else for flooring.
Embelton Timber Flooring – Given some of the comments here, i thought i would comment on our experience. We had the Natural Oak timber flooring installed over 4 years ago and they still look great. We haven't had any issues whatsoever with ours. I would recommend the product we purchased and installed.
Quality flooring Installed – The flooring is great and is easy to live in and maintain. The floors have remained the same colour even though some parts are exposed to loads of sunlight. I would not hesitate to use Embelton again.
Floor boards peaking and delaminating – The boards looked amazing when first laid, but good products last, these dont. Not even 5 years old and the boards are peaking and starting to split. Dealing with embelton for a warranty claim is terriable, flat denial its there product. Currently going through ATFA and probably legal action from there. Save your money and buy something else.
Best Quality – Having read the reviews here I felt compelled to add my 2 cents. We had Aquatuf installed by Carpet Court, this is the best Hybrid on the market. Been down over a year now and the floor is just like new. I highly recommend this product.
Poor product with poor warranty – Had Emberlton Bamboo flooring installed on a new home build, 9 years later the clear coat is delaminating and bubbling. Company is baming everything else but there product including moisture (we do not have water issues), high wear areas (delaminating is happening every where) and no purchase records ( They say records are only kept for 5 yrs).… Read more
Every excuse in the book to get out of rectifying the issues. After a long battle just to have the rep come out to inspect the floor he says the floor looked great for its age then came up with all the excuses. Please buy your flooring elsewhere and not through Emerlton, don't waste your money.
Absolute Disgrace – I used Embeltons bamboo flooring in a new house build, after the floor was install we began to see the boards splitting, and the clear coat bubbling within the first year of installation. After discussing with the flooring company who installed the product, Embelton inspected and initially committed to replace the boards however after not being… Read more
able to provide a board with comparable colour to the originals said they wouldn't rectify the problem. Their management had to be followed up numerous times and came up with every excuse as to why the floors were fine with cracks in the board. Lucky the flooring company who we used were fantastic and provided support and fixed the problem for us. As for embelton we would never even consider to use their products again or recommend them.
Don't waste your money – Flooring was laid and within 12 months the ends of some of the boards began to break up. Following several complaints we had an inspection by Embelton representatives who advised that water was leaking under the floor. Absolute nonsense. Inspection by plumber failed to find any water. Further, the effected boards were separated by several… Read more
sound boards. It is worth mentioning that 80% of the original flooring was rejected by the tradesman laying the product as the ends of the boards were defective. Embelton's representatives were to report back with their findings but have not heard from them since. I have since spoken with the retailer who supplied the product who advised the product was so bad they no longer sold it. Stay away from it.
