clarification NO REPLY TO several emails that day but did get email from delivery company giving link to driver tracking map. Spent whole day waiting and checking emails for Emma to reply and watching the driver get closer. Around 2:45pm the driver was 5 streets away. Time passed, NOTHING so checked tracking and saw he was making his way back to his depot. Still nothing from Emma. Next day in the evening at 5:45pm finally get a reply email saying my order has been delayed as requested. MY next email was to cancel the order. They must make a great mattress if they can treat people like garbage and still be profitable. I will never know if the mattress lives up to the hype and is worth the money. If they treat customers like this beforehand imagine how bad the post sale service is

Be warned!! Terrible customer service – I have purchased a single and double mattress in the last couple of years. After repeated emails up to today, 29/10/23, repeatedly requesting information I had already provided at the start, I was told that I had been referred to the local branch and would be kept up to date. I then received emails to say that they hadn’t heard from me and to let them know if they can do anything further. I then received an email requesting a photo. They will get their photo of the slider and one of the cover without the slider and then I will sell or give away my mattress and I will NEVER buy from them again !

Emma. First red flag.

So I had to email them to tell them of the cancellation.

After I sent them email on 10 Feb, I received an email the next day, Friday 11 Feb 2022 from a customer service person at Emma asking what the reason was for cancelling so that they could process the cancellation.

I told them the reason. Then I heard nothing, despite the representative saying in the email that they were "leaving the thread open".

That same afternoon I asked them to confirm the order had been cancelled. I heard nothing. No reply.

This morning (14 February 2022) I again emailed asking if they had cancelled the order. I heard nothing.

I also spoke with a customer service "bot" (they are clearly not real people) asking them to confirm the order had been cancelled. They said they would "check". I heard nothing.

Then they DELIVERED THE MATTRESS ANYWAY to my 90 year old grandfather, who cannot move a heavy mattress.

Now I am stuck with this mattress that I requested be cancelled three business days ago, and which could easily have been cancelled.

Now they have to come back to get it. I shudder to think how difficult it is going to be to have to get these people to actually come and PICK IT UP and then *even more shudder* REFUND MY MONEY.

I have emailed them asking for SOMEONE to call me. Nobody has called. The mattress is just sitting there, unopened.

Unbelievable.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CLEARLY ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NEGLIGIBLE.

came down to Emma or Noa. I am 5'6" and 64kg and can honestly say I am very happy with the Emma base model I ordered on sale at the time. I am impressed with the simple design yet ability to support my frame very evenly, therefore placing my body in an ergonomically neutral position during side and supine sleep postures. My Emma is very comfortable (soft yield followed quickly by firm support) and I can definitely attribute an improvement of up to 20% in my symptoms as a result of my new mattress! As I say, I got this on sale but I would be confident to say that Emma represents excellent value for money, even at full retail! Any issues I have read in reviews seem to point to service but I was called away at the time of my initial order and Emma rescheduled the delivery upon request 4 times for me. Therefore, I cannot complain in this area at all (I do note that they have contacted all such reviewers). My only issue at all with this mattress is the seemingly delicate cover (I assume these are a renewable items) and the "new" smell which is reducing with time as the construction materials "degas" but I take comfort in the assurance that Emma meets/exceeds health standards regarding the environment and toxicology. 48hrs of allowing the mattress to expand (as advised by the helpful staff on the online chat), we could still feel the indentations along the full width of the mattress. Considering these two defects in the one mattress (while the other matress was all good), we contacted support@emma-sleep.com.au with added pictures, and got a quick response that the faulty mattress is going to be exchanged for a new single mattress. We also requested two soft mattress toppers, as both kids were rating the sleeping experience as a bit too hard; but we were told to give the mattresses 3-4 weeks trial, before requesting the topper. Which is a bit annoying, as we originally wanted to order the toppers straight at the beginning, going off the firmness scale of 7/10 provided during the chat - those toppers should be easily send through with the exchange mattress, rather than making another trip and delivery later on. As for the sleeping experience, so far so good (besides being too firm). Great feel. No sagging. Looks like a durable mattress. Great price!

for two days after which it was fine. The mattress was quite a bit firmer than she had been used to, but she quickly got used to it and now finds it very comfortable. After 6 months' use it still looks like new. No complaints at all. Recommended.

DO NOT Buy from this Company – Ditto Ditto Ditto WORST COMPANY EVER. NO, NONE, ZILCH CUSTOMER CARE. Paid and ordered a mattress, over a month ago and they still cannot provide me a delivery date. Many many hopeless generic emails all with no resolve or care.

Still waiting after three weeks – Ordered and paid for mattress topper more than a month ago. PayPal didn’t work on their website and had to pay via bank deposit. Three weeks later I’m still waiting for the product. When I followed up, they said it was ‘lost’ and will be re-dispatched. Still waiting Update: received it after four weeks.

A good mattress finally at an affordable price – I ordered an Emma Original in the month of May this year. Arrived in less than 2 weeks as promised. Good packaging; easy to open and slept well without any back pains etc. I again ordered one more Emma Comfort this time and it came within 6 days. resolve issues quickly. This has been the worse experience with organising deliveries and like most people now, I regularly get multiple parcel deliveries a week. It’s a shame when simple customer service failings deter customers from recommending products.

Scam!!! Take your money and then never send product!! – We purchased a new single mattress through Emma for our son 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive the mattress. Perfect, loving it!! – First couple of days was little weird, the mid part felt elevated compared to the top and bottom ends. on my side. Now I can sleep any side, and it been about a month, no problem. I bought the mattress protector after a couple of weeks of trying the mattress!

I got 2 of the single mattresses for my boys bunk beds, they are a perfect fit and so comfortable – I spend quiet a bit of time sleeping on the bottom bunk with my youngest and the mattress is great. smell and it is easy to handle by one person (for single bed). I am pleased with the firmness as that is what we are preferred. My daughter slept on it that night and she adjusted to the mattress well. No complaints.

One thing that they were lack of is the customer service contacts details. They don’t have any number to contact to. I did ask questions from the website chat and it was responded immediately. Thanks Emma.

Should be called Painaway – I did not realize how uncomfortable I was in bed until I purchased the Emma Original Mattress, my hip which I thought was deformed because of the pain, since using the Emma It has disappeared and I can get out of bed without the pain I had previously felt. thrilled with their new, comfy beds. And for the nights that the girls need extra cuddles, my husband and I are more than happy to snuggle in with them. They're honestly like sleeping on a cloud – just the right amount of squish for both big and small people and incredibly well made.
