seventies an have severe arthritis. The website gives a height for the other beds in the range but does not for the Rosewood. I sought advice on this from EMMA and was told, on the phone, that it should be the same height as the other beds. In fact, the top of the slats (i.e. the bottom of the mattress) is only 23cm above the floor so, with a mattress depth of 29cm, this makes the sleeping surface only 52cm above the floor. My wife and I find it awkward getting into bed and, more importantly, extremely difficult getting out and we are both concerned about the risk of falling, especially in the dark. Had I known that this bed was so low to the floor, I would not have purchased it and would have instead bought one (either from EMMA, or someone else) which provided a more easily negotiable height, considering our age and lack of mobility. I have been tempted to place a brick under each of the legs/supports but that, in itself, would present other safety issues. Hopefully, somebody from EMMA will read my comments and be able to suggest an acceptable solution.

This has been a game changer - I'm sleeping better than ever and my back does not hurt. Wish I bought this earlier - after a night or 2 or getting used to it, I'll never go back.

It's comfortable but so hot to sleep on. Wake up in the middle of the night having to reposition myself due to body heat build up. Very annoying!

sleeps at night without waking. ie. 3 hrs instead of 2 and I don't sweat as much as I did but it's Winter so ??? Who knows? I don't like the soft edges but that comes with all hybrids, some more than others. I suffer with back pain as do many Seniors. I had it before and I still have it so I don't really know if I should have got another fully sprung Firm Mattress or this one. I guess I will never know.

out and it belongs in the garbage. Uncomfortable, badly design and equally poor quality product that should have never passed any form of reputable quality control. As a sofa it's lousy and a bed not suitable either. We only kept it this long as bedding for the dogs but it's taking too much space and the dogs have better beds than this so called "sofa bed" shame on Emma Sleep for swindling money from customers for such a subpar product.

The pillow is too hard and quite uncomfortable. It feels just like cheap foam. Very disappointing considering the price and how good Emma mattresses are in comparison.

other mattress in a box brands. I let it air and expand for the day and had my first sleep on it that night. It was so comfortable from day 1 and I had the best sleep ever. I have not been sleeping well at all prior to getting this mattress. The comfort layers are a dream and it sinks in just enough for pressure relief without feeling like you’re being swallowed. Temperature regulation is great too, as I usually sleep hot but had no problems on this mattress. The new edge support added to the new models is also a huge plus. Very happy with my purchase, it is a beautiful mattress to sleep on. Medium soft but very supportive and no waking up in pain! I will update this review in a few months in regards to sinkage over time etc….Huge thumbs up!

Meanwhile, the mattress I bought from Ecosa had excellent tracking and was here within the week.

Emma is not recommended if you live non-metro!!

Perfect balance of utility and comfort. Bed head is soft and nice to lean on and the actual frame is great quality. took me a bit longer to put it together than expected but really enjoying it!

Adaptable and super comfy – The Emma hybrid pillow is super comfy and adaptable. There is a small insert that can be removed to make for a softer, flatter surface if needed to optimise comfort fir the individual.
