Zero response – Try calling to speak with anyone is my case is impossible left 5 urgent messages for a callback zero response. You will speak with a robot just to be told to go one line to complete forms if you wish to speak with a human. I will never use this company again. Big skip waste of my valuable time. Biggest liars Around – I had car insurance with this joke of a company. I had an accident and had to claim for repairs which took them over 8 months to repair and still didn’t fix all the issues with my car. country so had to deal with it. After a couple of weeks I got a phone call demanding money for the excess which I explained to them it was already taken care of by [Name Removed]. I tried to contact her but she ignored me and I dealt with her colleague who she said [Name Removed] text her stating I was very happy with the repairs and I would pay the excess. Such a blatant lie. I had to contact the repair shop to get it in writing off them stating the insurance would pay the excess. I had no follow up phone call or apologies just more lies from [Name Removed]. PLEASE DONT USE ERIC INSURANCE.
The Worst Company Ever – I had the misfortune to deal with this company for my car insurance. They took over 8 months to get my car repaired and still never fixed it properly. Told me they would wave the excess fee as they never repaired my car. Then after that send the bailiffs to collect the excess money which I had to fight them to get it sorted. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Great Service – I cannot fault the service provided by Eric. At the end of 2021 I foolishly backed into a post. I rang the claim through, filled out the paperwork and the claim was handled very professionally and rapidly. Only Christmas and the floods delayed the repairs. Then I was pleasantly surprised when the annual policy only increased from $400-odd to $600-odd. I was expecting a huge increase. Thank-you Eric Insurance! Show details · 1

Great value cover from ERIC. Do your homework and save money! – My renewal notice from Coles came with a surprise - 40% higher cost and 10% less cover so I started looking around. Found Eric and got exactly the same cover for less than I originally paid with Coles a year ago. Very happy with the cost and hope I won't need to claim (but seeing reviews about the claims process, I think I'll be ok). Don't use this service! – Beware of this insurer!! They will send out your personal information to 3rd parties with out your consent. Your Residential address, your date of birth, your full name, your vehicle rego, your email and phone numbers, your bank details. When you ask them why they did that, they will say it's their policy and terms to do so. BEWARE! Show details
Good service, if you're not at fault and manage to actually get them on the phone – I had good experience last time with them but I was not at fault. To get them on the phone is always really hard though. This time, still not at fault, I waited 1 hour to get someone and that person just hang up on me.... This is really a joke, and their were not calling back afterward or say sorry. Now, I need to find time to call back and I still need to push that claim as this is not moving at the moment.. Honestly the worse customer service I have ever encountered.

Great price - but the customer service to match the price - – Very good price, however, customer service is not a strong point. Very very insecure demanding personal details over email. Asking personal details for questions that are flat out NO our company doesn't do that. No online self-help portal - even making a payment is hard requires forms and time and effort. Feed the general public lies to underinsure – All was good on my new car for a year after insuring, when renewal came around the undervalued my car by 15%. Never let an insurance company treat you like this and market value is the price you would pay to buy another care of same make and model. Not this other made up term to save the insurance company money.

This is a dodgy insurance company .They are not doing their job properly – I requested them to renew my policy multiple times via email and a customer service representative said me that his boss [Name Removed] did it approve my request. I contacted Eric straight away, they didn’t even contact me back until a few days ago when I lodged a complaint. They are now offloading my claim to an investigator apparently m so still in limbo. with no car ….still stuck paying repayment on a vehicle I don’t even have. The lady on the phone said these investigations could take months or years. This is an absolute nightmare of a situation. Eric Insurance are clearly doing everything possible to avoid helping us. condition. How my medical details resulted in my vehicle being stolen ill never know. They also asked me to provide bank statements how much do you need to dig into someone's personal life in order to avoid paying a claim. Can never get anyone on the phone to talk about my claim.

On one of the previous phone calls I found out the hold up was they hadn't emailed me the updated letter to sign. So yes, it is necessary to call.

absolutely awful customer service – This was the worst experience in insurance I have ever had. My daughter had an accident and they were atrocious to deal with to the point where she was in tears any time she needed to receive a call from them.
