I recently purchased the Eureka entertainment unit. You would think looking at it that it was designed to put your stereo equipment in the cupboards on either side. But no, while the shelves are ply wide enough, the opening does not allow for them to be put in there. Also, there is no holes in the back wall for cords. What I have had to do to get… Read more
my stereo equipment in is use a jig saw to cut a 450 wide opening in the back and use a hole saw to cut holes for the cords. It would be good if I had have known of this limitation of the design before I purchased it. This is not the fault of the staff at the store whom were polite and helpful. It is the fault of the way it was presented on the Eureka web site.

Every time we shop the staff are wonderful. We are greeted with hello and asked if we need any help. I always feel like I can browse the store without being harassed for a sale but know someone is there to help if needed. Nothing is ever an issue when organising delivery or pick up. friends they were absolutely horrified to hear such rudeness, surprisingly I did stay calm, otherwise I would have broken down in tears. [Name Removed] also was complaining to me about another staff member called [Name Removed], saying ohhh! she makes mistakes all the time and customers continually always complain about her. This in my eyes in bullying behind her back and very unprofessional, and as far as I'm aware, this should not be tolerated at any time, going by all my online training with several different companies.
18/07/2025 Eureka Furniture HO To whom it may concern, I C. Jones would like to make a formal complaint about the disgraceful customer service I have experienced and no outcome from HO liaising with [Name Removed] for over a month from the Grafton store, about my lounge being wrongly ordered by the manager. I first came into the store with my sister discussing with [Name Removed], that I was interested in the Lucas lounge that I’ve wanted for years. Looking at the Lucas lounge displayed facing the front, I said to [Name Removed] would like the crn lounge with the 2 seats on the left and the 3 seats on the right. So, a couple of days later I confirmed with [Name Removed] over the phone, I would like to put a deposit on the Lucas CRN lounge with the 2 seats on the left and the 3 seats on the right...yep all good she says, I’ll call you when it’s in and you can pay the remaining balance when it arrives. The lounge arrives a week later, so I went into the store confirming with the sales assistant [Name Removed] before paying the balance and organizing my own delivery courier...ohh that’s another story, but I won’t get into now. [Name Removed] assured me it’s the 2 seats on the left and the 3 on the right. yes, she says. When arriving home the courier was helping me unpack the 3-seater component of the lounge, I then said stop unpacking this is the wrong way around. So, I immediately called the store to let them know the lounge is the wrong way around, [Name Removed] informed me that I had to bring the lounge back after paying my courier $100 and I couldn’t get any help until I speak to the store manager in 5 days as she was off sick. Courier said I can’t take it back for nothing as being so big, I said its ok, it's not your problem ill just to wait 5 days to speak to the manager. During the 5 days of waiting to speak to the store manager, I thought I might change my mind now and order 1 recliner and a 3-seater instead and get another recliner on a later date, they have to return this one anyway, as I can't use it the 3 seats on the left is too close to my fireplace. Thinking it wasn’t going to be a big issue, well how wrong was I ...what a palaver.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the manager is making out to HO that ohhh she’s just changed her mind, which wasn’t the case at all. I would have been perfectly happy with the correct configuration that I wanted in the first place. Not at any time did she apologies and say, I’m sorry Carol I stuffed up and not taking any responsibility of her mistake. After weeks of waiting, in an email Eureka HO office agreed to reorder a different configuration of the lounge under there good will, with a delivery charge stated. I went back to the store and confirmed with [Name Removed] that they were going to pick up me lounge free at cost prior to another phone call we had, as I saw on my new invoice, they had a delivery charge, so I just wanted to clarify that there will be no delivery fee as it was the manager’s mistake she agreed on the free delivery not her mistake. With the instore discussion with Rahel saying, ohh and by the way HO is going to charge you 40% of the value of the lounge for a storge fee, which wasn’t on my new invoice. By this time, I was just I was just fed up still keeping calm and said this is disgraceful and unheard of, I just want all of my money back without being penalized. She said believe me I just want this done and dusted I never want to see your face in me store again and you’re the last person I want to see again, still staying calm, I said I'll be going to see Department of fare trading So, contacting DFT they said as a customer by the ACCC law you are intitled to a full refund without being penalized and with a major problem and item, by law they have to pick up your lounge free of charge. They also said if this matter hasn’t been delt with by Monday 21/07/2025 as it has been going on for nearly a month, we will help you to take further action. I have the rights to also claim the $100 I paid my private courier. This problem has stopped me inviting friends and family over for my so-called house warming celebrations, stopping my renovation as tradesmen cannot access my hallway and also being a fire hazard not being able to leave it somewhere else to avoid being damaged.

Excellent service – We were looking for a couple of comfortable chairs for a back TV room. Right from entering the store, Hayden was welcoming, personable and hugely helpful in providing information on choices in stock. He allowed us the space to test and assess the options and was equally tolerant when I returned a while later to second test our main preference. A favourable quote was further improved in a subsequent call. In short, the service was excellent.

Rachel was amazing on the phone, offering extra off of what we had quoted and when I asked for another quote with the new deal she was onto it straight away.
