Being a younger couple we found help was extremely hard to find. We felt like we werent taken seriously and were not a priorty amongst the other customers in the store. And now we are extremely disappointed in after sales care from the rutherford store. Our table arrived with a huge crack in the top. I work as a Customer Experience Coordinator so understand what good CX is and I can honestly say the customer service I received at the Rutherford store yesterday was top tier! We were happy with Eureka furniture Rutherford and customer service on line for understanding and replacing our dinning chairs when we had a bad batch and they didn’t last a year. We are thankful they were happy to Assess and replace as quick as they could once the ball got rolling. Show details

Shocking customer service faulty products – Purchased Memphis two and three seater sofa. Only to find after 3 months we were sinking into the centre of both sofas and the foam in seat cushions had gone flat. This made to sofa look like it was years old. they offer repair first which I was told they are well within there right to do so. Upholster came to my home to access, low and behold it was faulty needs to be repaired. The upholster advised this was the 4th repair he had done on this sofa range. So they arranged for a removalist to take both of my sofas away to repair. After a week I had to contact the unhelpful manager Jeanee for an update. Surprise surprise the sofa was to be delivered at the convenience of the delivery firm!! This progressed to a written dispute with Michelle Bryson an aftercare customer consultant, the sofa was delivered on a day that would suit me the customer. I explained to Michelle Bryson from customer care I wanted to further my complaint. Hard to believe this but she told me to write my complaint on the complaint section on the web site!!!! Even though Michelle Bryson email signature reads after care consultant !!! Needless to say Michelle never even replied to my last email!!!! Both of my sofa are not fixed!!! I have sadly made another purchase from Eureka Rutherford before I knew my sofa was faulty, I bought farmhouse table n chairs and buffet. Only today reading on product view have I learned I need to use bees wax on this furniture, Jeanee the very unhelpful manager failed to mention this at the time of purchase. Please do yourself a favour do not purchase from Eureka Furniture. There is no customer care.

Poor service and terrible communication – I purchased 2 libraries in March 20 and was advised they would arrive at the start of October. I contacted twice in October and didn’t hear until they wanted the remaining money paid and product picked up or delivery. October at 4pm. What do you know there are no posts for the ladders apparently these didn’t turn up. No communication, no apologies and I have now paid for a product that was not was was advertised. I contact the site only to be told that they have not been told and as I wanted to complain I could ring head office as they don’t listen to the stores WTH!!! Then when I said they could refund me and pick up the product that was incomplete as I paid for the entire units I was told nothing would happen today as it was 4pm and nothing would happen over the weekend. The store than rings me back to say the warehouse was emailed yesterday morning and were aware, did not contact customers, told the delivery drivers to let customers know when the product was delivered and they will come out next week to install at a time that they can do it not when you are available. Then she says, So we have done everything we could !!! Are you serious??? You did not contact the customers, you did not give them the option to get it delivered when it was completed as led to believe, no contact as to my availability to deliver missing parts for install, no offer of any type of goodwill for my time and wages to be here for what I believed to be 1 delivery and still absolutely no idea if there responsibilities as a business that relies on service. This is a disgusting example of staff that don’t care about people’s purchases as once you pay for it it’s not their problem and owners that apparently foster this culture as customers don’t matter after a certain time. I would not recommend anyone use this company if you are relying on honesty and integrity. Clearly the standards are low as to what service is .

2-The price doesn’t include GST so if you order $4k be aware of something like $500gst to be added on top of your order.

3-The other thing is about the customer service after you receive your furniture. My table (paid $1200) had a very bad hole in the middle...I contacted the store many times and write emails and submitted the issue multiple times and haven’t received any response after two months with all my follow up !!!

Fantastic Service – Purchased some bedroom furniture and the two Ladies that assisted were polite and straight to point on the detail. One cabinet was fairly heavy and the assistance from a manual handling aspect was fantastic. I was assisted with two dollys whilst loading onto trailer which took the heavy lifting out of the equation.
