This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased a set of 6 expensive chairs in April 2025, expecting quality and safety. When I contacted the Kawana store, they immediately refused to take any responsibility. Once they have your money, they wash their hands of you and push everything onto their so-called “after care” team.
I completed all the required forms, sent photos, and provided every detail they asked for. On December 31st, they replied saying they would provide a solution within 5–10 business days. After that — nothing. No updates. No replies. Multiple emails completely ignored.
I finally called on January 30th and was told the person handling my case hadn’t responded because he was “calling stores to find a solution.” Yet somehow couldn’t take 30 seconds to send me a simple update. Completely unprofessional.
Then it got worse. I was told they had replacement chairs available, but they were “too far away” and it wouldn’t be economical for Eureka to transport them — basically admitting that replacing a faulty, dangerous product wasn’t worth the cost FOR THEM.
So instead of honoring their warranty and their legal obligation to repair, replace or refund, they’re choosing what’s cheapest for the company.
He promised to call me back by the end of the day or by Monday February 2nd at the latest. I called again on the 2nd, was told he was at lunch and would return my call. Of course, no call ever came.
They even admitted I am entitled to a resolution, yet still refuse to actually do anything or communicate properly.
It’s honestly disgraceful.
This store is helpful only when they’re trying to make a sale. Once you’ve paid, you’re on your own. After care seems designed to delay, ignore and frustrate customers until they give up.
I’ve purchased several items from them over the years, but never again. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you expect safety, accountability, or even basic customer service.
Update: 3rd feb 2026 after not receiving a call back on the 2nd I rang the after care again and spoke to [Name Removed] who is the case officer responsible for my case. [Name Removed] treated with a very rude atitude saying he wouldn’t call me until he had options to present to me and wouldn’t tell me his course pf actions either because according to him, if he tells me he will do something and then, doesn’t, I will be complaining to him. He has also advised me they try everything they care no to give a refund because it isn’t good for them. Then I asked how long it would take to resolve and his answer was: it will take how long it will take. Pretty much telling me to F$&4 off. [Name Removed] has lied in every single call changing his version every time. What a disgraceful service guys. Avoid at all cost to purchase from this shop because if a product breaks, you are in for a battle.

I asked if we undone all wrapping & tried, but was told by del guys if damaged I then owned couch. Wasn’t prepared to take this risk, no where in store on couch was it disclosed that these couches do not fit through a standard door! I have contacted head office & demanded a full refund & not a store credit! & suggest they put signage up stating these particular sofas don’t fit through standard doors as I have heard from a reputable source this has been an issue before, but yet it is not disclosed to customer. As far as I am concerned this product is not fit for standard doorways & customers should be made aware of this & just not sold the product regardless

I walked out of there with my new unit ordered and payed for as only 4 left in stock, delivered 5 days later would have been early but I had to work on the first delivery option. It is what I wanted I am happy about the price I paid. It was discounted a further nearly $200 from the first time I saw it. I would not have paid the full price that it had been listed at but I don't know if Eureka sells anything at the initial price. There is always a sale of sorts. I think Eureka would be my favourite furniture store, it has quirky and different furniture. Unique and interesting. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful.

liked so ensure we would get the offer or we could call and make the order over the phone. We went across to Early Setter store there were 2 staff and no customers in the store. We were not acknowledged or even a hello as we walked past the 2 ladies standing talking to each other at the desk. My 2nd experience l have had in that store that was poor customer service total opposite to our experience at Eureka Furniture. Today we made our purchase and it was another great experience. Thanks Sharyn you’re very good at what you do, l can only say to other customers if you’re looking for exceptional service and products this is the store for you. pick up my stools they had not been unloaded from truck. As I live in Cooroy this was infuriating, however on the 23/5/25 Marie very kindly drove them up to my home in Cooroy in her car and delivered them personally. This is definitely much appreciated, as I needed them for the weekend. Do not buy from this retailer if you want to have any post sale service or expect your warranty to be honoured. I purchased some outdoor furniture which rusted, stained and started falling apart after less than six months and when I sought assistance was refused point blank.
Bed frame not build properly - Quality – Customer service was lovely, but the bed frame I bought was not put together properly and it squeaks. After paying $70 for the people to build it upon deliver I had to get more people to come and take it apart and build it properly. The bed still squeaks a little but it’s not as bad. Absolute garbage furniture. Avoid like the plague. Purchased a dining room table and chairs. 3 of the 6 chairs broke in exactly the same spot in under 2 years. Two beautiful tallboys that are solid and I am happy – Store was very helpful. Angel recommended the tallboys I was looking at online. I went into the shop and purchased both and delivery was super quick. They were delivered no putting together needed They are solid wood and I love them.
