Euromaid DR14S / DR14W Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi, my DR14S won’t run. When I opened it, the water wasn’t drains and so I had emptied the water out and also tilted the machine to get the remaining water out. Turned it back on and pressed wash but nothing happens, no sound of the washer starting, no hummings. What can I do to fix this?
Good morning Vivian. Thank you for your enquiry. You may have a blockage in the pumps wash/drain or you may have a blocked spigot hole ( where the water goes out from the hose into the U-bend under the sink) . Disconnect the outlet hose, have a bucket handy for water to go into from the hose. Check the U- bend where the hose attaches to see if that is not blocked. If that is okay then you will need a service technician to attend. If you would like to supply your postcode and email I can provide you with a local agent in your area. Regards Sharron
Hi, My dishwasher Rinse aid and ON light both keep flashing even when the Control knob is in OFF position. I can hear a noise when the door is closed. I tried to do reset by holding the start button for more than 3s, and also tried unplugging from the wall to rest the machine. No water on the base. But nothing happens.
Good morning Sugan. Thank you for your enquiry. Is the noise you can hear a humming sound? Thank you Sharron
hi, my DR14W is at times not draining the water,(all the hoses have been checked and filters regularly cleaned. It will often hummm without working. a tilt of the machine would activate the water residue to be emptied, however its started to leak. do i need a new dishwasher?
Good afternoon, Jack Thank you for your enquiry. Have you checked the spigot hole to ensure that it is not blocked. It is where the outlet hose from the dishwasher attaches to the u-bend, you can take a picture with your phone to check it is clear. If it is clogged just poke something down to clear. Before you remove the outlet hose make sure you have a bucket to drain the water into, or a towel. If that doesn't work, you may require a service technician to assess. If you need a service technician in your area, please let me know Thank you Euromaid
Hello, our DR14W is turning on and appears to be working because it hums along. It stops after a few minutes but the lights stay on. When I open the door, no water was ever used in the dishwasher. There is no kinks, water tap is on and I have turned on the power a few times but the same issue occurs. Would it be the water inlet value which is at fault ?
Hi Terry, thank you for reaching out to us. Based on what yo have described yes it may be related to the inlet valve. You should also check the float swift as it could be stuck or you may have some water under the based that has not drained away. Thanks
Hi. I have Euromaid dishwasher. Had internal water leak. Technician found unsealed connection between plastic pan and left hand side stainless steel panel, resulting slight drip it tray witch in couple of month activate flooding switch. He advised that is is a factory fault and can not be repaired. Dishwasher is only 3y. old.
Hello, thank you reaching out. I will send you a direct message so we can get some additional details and have someone from our team get in touch with you. Thanks
Hi, I have looked over the manual extensively and it says to refer to the programing table, which Is not in the manual and so I assume is an extra piece of paper that would have came with the dishwasher, but I'm in a rental and don't have that. I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the programing table for this model? Thank you
Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. Here s link to the programme table: https://cdn.productreview.com.au/document/thread-message/17dcd613-69b7-43d8-a87d-fd7803516bff Thanks
Thank you very much!!
Our DR14s seems to fill up but does not proceed with washing! I’ve had to use a large cup to remove all water.
Good morning Troy Thank you for reaching out to Euromaid. The cause of the dishwasher not draining maybe a blockage either in the drain pump or the spigot hole is blocked. You can locate this under the sink where the outlet hose is connected to the U-bend. Have a bucket handy, undo the outlet hose (place in bucket and shake) then look in the hole where the water goes out from the outlet hose to make sure that this is not blocked. If blocked, you need to clear. Then re-attach the outlet hose and run the machine through a short cycle to see if this fixes the issue. If it is within the drain pump, then you will need a service technician to attend. If you would like to supply your email address, we will be able to further assist by recommending a service technician in your area if the troubleshooting isn't successful. Kind regards Euromaid
Our dish washer has started acting strange. It just keeps running. When you open the door the unit is spraying water into the soap holder dispenser and it doesn't stop. Even if you turn it off. We had to shut off the water. It can sometimes start to work but after a minute it empties out the water and starts again spraying the door soap holder, while occasionally pumping out the water.
Hi Bestonia, Thank you for reaching out to us and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it sounds like there might be some kind of blockage. If you cannot find anything you would require a technician to take a look at it. Thanks
Hi I am a very disappointed customer I’ve had a technician look at my machine and he said it’s very confusing With the overflow button flashing and it just won’t run at all Just hums! So Ive read all,the other questions and it seems to be a common problem with the dishwasher overflow ! We live rural and there’s no service repairman! So with that I think it’s a complete dud! Yes it’s 3 years old but geez would of liked to of got at least 5 Machine looks good but don’t waste your money!
Hi Anna, I'm sorry to hear of this. If you are experiencing an overflow most likely there has been some type of blockage/obstruction that has caused this. If water remains at the base it can be removed and dried as this would normally fix it. Thanks
Hi, I have a 5 year old DR14W that was working trouble free until today, when we turned it on there is just a humming sound and the Start/Stop button does not seem to work and it won’t wash, there are no discernible lights and the machine has not flooded, I have held the Stop/Start for 3+ seconds and the light cycles to wash and dry, but continues to make the same sound, thanks Steve F.
Hi Stephen, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it may be that the sensor still picks up water at the base thinking it is full. If it is fully dry you may require a technician to take a look at it. Thanks
Hi our dishwasher has water running out from underneath machine and now that I have turned it off and drained the bottom of the water, I continue to get a beeping sound for 30seconds and warning light/message (glass with star) flashing. What can I do to get this started again and error message removed Thanks
Hi Nick, thank you for reaching out to us. Based on what you have described it seem that you are experiencing an overflow. Most likely there may be some type of blockage. You may need to remove the water manually by tilting the machine forward. Once drained and dry you should no longer get the warning. Thanks

Dishwasher flashing glass light and beeping. Will not do anything else
Hi ebbvo H, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described this is related to an overflow which has occurred. To fix this you may need to manually remove any remaining water at the base. Thanks
hello. My dishwasher is running for a lot longer (60 minutes at least) on the 30 minute cycle. Is there a factory reset I can do? many thanks.
No factory reset this machine is horrible we are stuck with one too. Fastest cycle goes for at least 2 hours. Goodluck
Thanks Jess. It did run for the 30 minutes initially but now it doesn't. My parents have the same machine and have no problem with the cycle times. Very annoying as I like to put my glasses and vases etc on the 30 minute cycle.
Hi Clare, I'm sorry to hear of this. I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thanks
Hi Clare, we haven't received a response for you. If you have any queries in future, please feel free to reach out to us again. Thanks
The unit will not reset., as I am getting a flashing glass program light. Trouble shooting guide indicates that an over flow has occurred, but the pan at the bottom of the dishwasher has no excess water.
Hi Terry, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it may be the overflow gauge that is still picking up water at the base, you can try to tilt the machine and see it excess water is still there. If nothing comes out and you are still receiving the same error it would be best to have it checked by a professional Thanks
Hi, I have the Euromaid dishwasher E14DWx in stainless. When I turn it on it goes automatically to the ECO cycle and it can't be changed. Is there a way to reset this, or is the program selection button broken?
Thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. The attached link shows to reset the program on page 2: https://cdn.productreview.com.au/document/thread-message/9a8ce221-3410-55a9-be25-8e122a454133 Thanks
Hi, The control panel on my dishwasher looks different to what you have provided here. It doesn't have any knobs, just buttons. However the model number I provide in my original message was taken off the label/ plate on the inside of the door panel. Photo at: external link Are there instructions available for the model I have. I have read the manual online, but there's no mention of this problem. Thanks for your help.
Thank you, yes here are the steps: 1.Press the Start/Pause button to pause the washing. 2.Press program button for more than 3 seconds - the program will cancel. 3.Press the program button to select the desired program. 4.Press the Start/Pause button, after 10 seconds, the dishwasher will start. Thanks
Hi Brickie, I have the same issue with my dishwasher with the power coming on but the wash cycles are not able to be changed and the wash cycle not starting. The above instructions didn't solve my issue. Did you have any luck in fixing the issue with your dishwasher? If so, what was required? Thanks in advance
No, sorry, we're just living with it.
The dishwasher isn't letting any water in and just humms, sounds like its draining. The rinse light(red) doesnot go off anytime and the dishwasher machine doesnot run at all.
Hi pragyan, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it sounds like the machine has experienced an overflow and/or flooded. Removing the excess water at the base (you may need to tilt the machine to get the water out) should resolve this. Thanks
This is what we are having to do own early every week…it there a way of permanently fixing this issue? Thanks
Thanks Kylie, this may be due to a built up/blockage which does not allow the water to flow as it should. It may be best to have it checked by a professional. Thanks
Hello, dishwasher is suddenly tripping the power. Other appliances work in the power outlet, appears to be just the dishwasher. What would cause this?
Hi Lynette, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it might be related to the power board so it would be best to have it checked by a professional. I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thanks
Impellers spurt water but won’t spin
Hi Mark, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described it may be that the stacked dishes are touching and stopping the spinning. Thanks
