'Customer care' are not interested, despite the fact that the BBQ is three years old and supposedly has a 5 year warranty. Don't waste your money.

The product is unsafe and burned!!! Horrible service – The product is unsafe and flammable and the service is horrible! After two and a half years of use, my grill was set on fire during grilling an oily sausages. I maintained it very good so it wasn’t due to its condition. to my claim for more than a month!!! Unless I hade a garden water pipe nearby my whole deck would set on fire!

disappointed with quality – Heats up quickly but poor quality paint throughout. painted labels around nobs and inside the bbq where elements are smudges off easily with wipe of wet cloth. the grills are'nt sized correctly and easily fall into the bbq because they are slightly too small not adequately sized and measured. Disappointed – Terrible heat distribution across all 3 burner plates delivering unevenly cooked meat. Paint started to flake not long after a year - this falls under the 2 year paint warranty but they said they will not fix, just to deal with it. All waste just falls into the bbq and onto the burners so its very hard to clean on a regular basis. Looks good but doesn’t last long – Look good for a little while, than the hood fades, igniters stop working, warranty is 5 years and mine had these problems at 18months but they will not cover or repair. Lengthily exhausting process, juts but a Webber and stay away from Everdure Heston. Waste of money and time. Such a shame. Disappointed – I bought this BBQ around 18 months ago, and it was very expensive. grill plates have fallen in onto the burners whilst moving large pieces of meat as the tiny supporting ridges are a poor design. There is some rust on the plates. Most annoyingly I find it extremely difficult to clean, which means I'm loathe to use it to be honest. Small bits of food, herbs/spices from marinades and a large portion of the debris and fat from cooking ends up burning onto the gas tubes, gas jets and bottom of the unit. There are sharp edges beneath many of the metal bits on which I have sliced my fingers attempting to clean. The central drip tray is tiny and a pain to remove. Despite being stored undercover on a verandah, the screws on the hinges and inside the body have rusted. Ignition is difficult recently and it took me 10 minutes to get all burners lit after several months of not using it.

Unreliable – Bought 3 years ago and just replaced the grill plates because they started to rust which we noticed upon a deep clean. We also had to have a repair man fix the sparkers because they somehow moved and the BBQ was no longer lighting. We always kept the BBQ covered while not in use so really disappointed we had to invest so much fixing it. We don’t know how we will fix the hinges so will need to try and get rid of it.

Rusty plates and hard to clean – We bought our Furnace 3 burner in January 2020 and have found the quality of the cooking very good compared to our Weber Q that it replaced. clean near the burners and ignition points. Today while cleaning I noticed the drip guard between the burners had started to disintegrate. Not good for $1000 BBQ just over a year old.

UPDATE We have been in mediation with Lexi and a replacement BBQ is on its way to us. The service provided in resolving this issue has been very good and an outstanding resolution has been achieved.

spots. The worst part of this is how hard it is to clean. Heaps of tight spots and nooks and crannies which makes cleaning an absolute nightmare. When it’s working, you need to have multiple burners on to get any intensity of heat, wasting gas just to get a nice grill on a piece of steak. I’ll never buy one of these again and recommend you avoid as well. Awful!

How on earth are we supposed to clean the fat from the body – This product cost $1000 and I couldn’t be more disappointed. Who thought about what to do after cooking? The fat that doesn’t go into the drip tray lines the rest of the belly and is impossible to get to unless the burners are unscrewed dismantled then hopefully put together properly with wires to consider. Cooks great but paint and transfers come off – I cant fault the cooking ability of this bbq. But I have only had the bbq since Christmas and when wiped with a wet cloth the transfers have started to come/wipe off. This includes the ones on the controls which will make operation difficult. This never happened with my old webber q and I wouldnt expect it from such a pricey bbq. The ignition system is poor compared to the webber too. Show details

Brilliant BBQ - Review by the Wife! – After much deliberation we have bought the Furnace - Everdure by Heston. We have the 'Mint' colour and it's lovely. So far we have cooked Sausages, Lamb Chops, Steaks, Sausages and vegetables on the BBQ. We've used it to roast chicken and other joints and used it 3xtimes a week since we bought it. Everdure Furnace - Not Satisfied – After many comparisons for a new family BBQ we settled on the attractive Furnace. happy. 2. With such a flat design around the cooking plate winds comes along and blows oil and fats off the cooking plates. We also find it impossible to cook in anything other than a gentle breeze (even if cooking with the lid down). 3. If you don't put a cover on the BBQ and it rains, the water goes into the bbq and fills up the drip tray. Trying to get it out without spilling the fatty water all over the base is impossible. 4. The bottom base tray is flimsy plastic and looks cheap compared to the rest of the bbq.

We are now just unsure if we want to keep the bbq or sell it at a loss and get something else that won't ruin our deck and can cook in a breeze.

Not flash, save your money – Not happy with this unit. Will cook roasts ok, but bbq, everything sticks to the hot plate no matter how much oil you use. Not convinced on the supposed extra heat that Heston bleets on about in his videos, he has not obviously tried BBQs here in Australia Cleaning hot plate is hard work, and cleaning the the unit is a nightmare. There are easier BBQs to purchase, don’t believe the hype, this unit is just more work and not worth the price tag.
