We had our 2 airconditioners cleaned today by Neeraj Chandra from Fallons. We have had very good service from Fallons for quite a few years now and Neeraj did not disappoint. He arrived promptly and his service was very professional and thorough. He was very nice and explained the quote very well and answered all my questions. They came out to quote, provided an extortionate price (not in the ballpark compared to other contractor quotes) with one number, take it or leave it, no breakdown, together with a lot of slick marketing material for other trades. price quote, and they didn't like being questioned. Okay, every quote is fixed price: that's what makes a quote different to an estimate. Normally, a quote is at least itemised into labor and material, the same way an invoice is. Anyway, I don't plan to do business with this company... anybody who refuses to even detail what hardware they plan to install in your property gives off a very dodgy vibe.

living room was not optimum. We bought the home recently and we did not know when the Ducted system was last checked. I suspected that a flap or a cap was not set right but most importantly the filter needed to be clean.
Our Technican, Wayne Lambert was great. He inspected then cleaned the filter. It was only then he advised me of the cost and options to run with full servicing. It would have been $49.50 otherwise, but we decided to go with the full checks and service.
He checked the outside unit to ensure that it was in good condition, then went into the roof to inspect the ducts and for any vermin, snakes or damage by pest. There was none. Just plenty of dust up there and some leaves which I suspect was done by birds or storms :D
However, he found that a cap was indeed off from the duct point and 'lo and behold', after cleaning the filter and capping off the cap for the duct that was in the living room, the air-con is so much more powerful.
He also ensured that the unit and motors up in the roof were in good shape and advised that there is nothing to worry for now. Just dust :D
Hmmm....Wonder whether Fallons does Dust cleaning in Roof cavities :P I also chose to get a Mould inhibitor placed in our filter area, which Fallons offers.
Anyways, I am glad we decided to do this and doing full checks rather then just getting filter cleaned. Knowing this now, I know what to check for future reference but... I think I will still leave certain things to such Professionals :)
I was also educated on certain air-conditioning questions I had and learnt a lot from Wayne. He was professional, courteous and most importantly, there was no fluff - Straight the to point and got the job done.

wanted a membership fee of $65 on top of $3,200 to repair a job that required repairing a leaky joint, vacuuming the the system and regassing. Total time to fix this job should take 30 mins. The extortion fee of $3,200 is day light robbery. A brand new 1.5kw system to install from scratch costs less than the fee Nick wanted to repair our unit.. Not happy with Fallon Solutions and we would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Needless to say we did NOT use Fallon Solutions for this repair.

A Frustrating, Overpriced, and Uncomfortable Experience I’ve had a deeply frustrating experience trying to get three split-system ACs serviced. Despite being clear about my requirements during booking, the process was a total mess from start to finish. Day 1: I moved heavy furniture to provide clear access. claimed he "didn't have time" to do the work. I was charged nearly $300 just for the quotes.
Day 2: Moved all the furniture again. The second technician arrived but wasn't qualified to perform the quoted work. While he was honest about his limitations and tried to fix the scheduling error with the office, I was now two days down and hundreds of dollars out of pocket for no results.
Day 3: For the third attempt, I scaled back and requested only one AC be serviced. The technician arrived and immediately made me feel awkward by pointing out my previous 1-star review. He remarked, "Let's see what we can do about a 5-star review," yet proceeded to do only the bare minimum—nothing to actually address the prior service failures.
The Breaking Point: After the third visit, I was invoiced for all three ACs despite only one being serviced. I had to call the office to dispute the charges for work that was never performed.
The Verdict: By the time I received the "correct" invoice, the total cost (including the initial Day 1 charge) amounted to the price of a decent quality new air conditioner—all just for a basic service and clean. Between the scheduling incompetence, the awkward confrontation regarding my review, and the billing "errors," I cannot recommend this service.

simply assured me that the technicians carry most parts to fix common issues. I accepted the three-week wait due to peak summer demand, which was understandable.
On the scheduled day, the technician arrived two hours late. I did receive a notification, so at least there was some communication. However, shortly after arriving, the focus shifted toward upselling additional services and products rather than diagnosing the actual issue. After a basic inspection, the technician left without providing any real feedback.
Four days later, I received another upsell and a repair quote for the supply and installation of a PCB (circuit board), fan blade, and fan motor—at a cost nearly equal to replacing the entire air conditioning unit. This seemed excessive.
Feeling something wasn’t right, I decided to investigate myself. I discovered that a BLOWN FUSE was the actual issue. After replacing it and checking the fan blade and motor—both of which had no visible problems—the aircon was back up and running. I’m not an expert, but this raises serious concerns.
I attempted to speak with Fallon Solutions’ electrical manager for an explanation, but after receiving no response, I’m left with no choice but to post this review instead.
So, was the technician lazy, dishonest, or just incompetent? I'll leave that for others to decide. But based on this experience, I certainly won’t be using Fallon Solutions again.
Update: After a few days from leaving this review I received a call to discuss what had happened. Afterwards they have returned my initial payment. With the view of this review being removed or adjusted. I am adjusting the rating I initially gave due to their actions.

SCAMMERS – Absolutely despicable business practices. GET ANOTHER QUOTE. Guranteed you're being price gouged. I was quoted $4k for a deep clean of split system air conditioner with three heads. On Google reviews the most recent review before mine was a neighbour writing a review for her elderly VETERAN PENSIONER. He wanted one electrical outlet fixed and through aggressive and pushy sales tactics he was upsold to $8000 in work! And what he had done would have cost significantly less through some else.
The tech I had said most of what he does all day is give quotes. They collect $80+ for very little time and effort then cash in on the people who don't realise how badly they're being price gouged.
The whole thing hinges on fake reviews, good customer service and aggressive sales tactics. Do no trust these people. Go to the ACCC!

he showed me was accumulating inside 4 or the 5 units. I confess I have had very scant maintenance done previously on these units, therefore I feel it is essential that I now ensure the mould is treated before it becomes worse, since I know that the mould can contribute to health difficulties of occupants. Gas Leak for Ducted Air Con – Noticed our ducted A/C wasn't cooling our rooms as well as it should. Eddy from Fallon's discovered we had a gas leak after running tests on our unit.
