install them (expected 5–7 working days from the order date). Parts apparently arrived 31/3/26 and at 3:46PM 1/4/26 FS texted me to make an appointment to install the parts. When I phoned, earliest date was 9/4/26 because as FS put it "unknowingly our tech will be on annual leave until the 9th as well as our booking today was full". Even acknowledging Easter is in the middle, and there was a week to get the parts, 3+ weeks is not reasonable when FS advertises same day attendance. FS has many tradespeople working for it, so one person's "unknowing annual leave" is no excuse. FS is expensive , which I accepted, but I did not accept its unnecessary delys.
Follow-up · The repair was successful though the technician was 90 min late because he had not been told the correct attendance time. The late attendance guarantee of $100 was eventually paid but only after repeated follow ups and delays.
You should be advised that the company Fallon Solutions charges a fixed price of $230 for the initial check of your appliance for the fault and leaves it only inquired about by the consumers during booking an appointment, no matter how cheap your appliance is. charged me today $230 for the initial check which took about 20 mins. The technician said initially that the drain pump should be replaced and it cost $250 and when asked about the possibility of any fault with the electronic board, the technician said it’s very “unlikely and rare”. After my further description of the symptoms, he changed his statement and said there might be also a fault of the board and the fault was “very common” according to his experience. The contradictory statements the technician made now and then felt like they were treating you like an idi*t. For this bad experience I do not recommend anyone to use this company’s service.

for; 2. They left the old appliance (dishwasher) and rubbish in the front yard of my tenant’s house; and 3. I called the call centre multiple times requesting for the two points (above) to be addressed, and for them to send me photos of the completed job - the last consultant had to ask another department to send the photos (talk about making simple, complex).
The removal of the old dishwasher and to pop in a new dishwasher (that I purchased separately) cost me $530.01. (I know right!). It’s taken a number of phone calls and some days later to try and complete this job properly. Painful!

He assured me that I wouldn't be paying for another trip out/installation when he came back, only for the part. I was then quoted $364 for him to come back and replace it! The part costs $35!! Superb job – I specifically requested Jason - who had come to our place previously - to check that our washer and dryer were both in working order, after having been in storage for 3 years. But still quick to charge me $225 for twenty minutes to tell us what we already knew and with our expectation they would fix it. The tech was also quick to insist I grab my phone to click on their QR code leading you to a review link. He told me to click on the excellent 5 star review! He stood over me to ensure I did it….but at this point felt pressured and extremely uncomfortable so pretended then put my phone away. Not sure what I was suppose to review because he hadn’t done anything positive. I was then told their office would be in contact me. Which they did, almost straight away, just to say they are waiting to hear back from a supplier for the part. And I’ve heard nothing since.
I replied to their email the next day and several times since for updates, but no response.
It wasn’t until I complained on their website that somebody acknowledged me. Their “Customer Satisfaction Manager”, (whom I’ll refer to as A) responded to my complaint but did not address any of the issues. All he did was attempt to justify their $225 charge and imply I knew about about it and was lying as he stated he had a phone recording. I politely responded and requested a copy of said recording and also an update on our quote for the new part and install. It was ignored.
My fiancée then called “A” directly for an update. During the conversation my fiancée was spoken to condescendingly and rudely and “A” continually talked over the top of him.
Eventually a refund was agreed to but “A” said they will not discuss this any further with him as the booking was in my name. This is despite the fact the email correspondence was signed from both of us and the fact nobody has responded to my emails or calls. My fiancée was told by “A” that he will call me that day to discuss a refund. Two days later and I’m still waiting.
So, I then emailed “A” together with their spare parts person, who had sent the original and only email cc’ing my fiancée, basically authorising them to discuss the matter with my fiancée.
Neither of us still haven’t had a response from them.
To be charged $225 to diagnose an issue with no repair, service, follow up and not even put back all the parts on the machine, and also damage screws is outrageous and highly unprofessional and not worthy of such an exorbitant fee.
They claim in all their advertising that their technician tells you the cost before starting. I wasn’t told till after and then after I paid the tech would not not tell me how much or when a new part would even be available.
They also claim to offer a “service guarantee”. What service? It is also worth noting that we sourced the spare part ourselves within 24hours and it was available from two different local suppliers!
Their lack of transparency is extremely concerning. Their communication and customer service is nonexistent. It seems very much like a “cash grab” operation.
We have now been without a washing machine in a household of six people for way too long and $225 out of pocket! This has caused great stress and financial hardship in our household. I highly doubt Fallon’s own families would find this acceptable.
I’m not sure how many opportunities a company needs to resolve matters like these but we have reached out many times, politely and respectfully without resolution.
We will NEVER recommend Fallon Solutions. Stay away!
