Not the stores fault !! Purchased como drawers absolute junk. Wouldn't pay $50 for them. Absolute cheap flimsy chip board. Plugs to small for the slots. They are just nasty. Don't waste your money

Long time very happy Fantastic client – We have purchased various items over the years from 3 different FF stores (Taree, Penrith and Rutherford). Without exception, from 3 seater recliner lounge to simple table lamps and most things in between it has been a great experience. as we move around a bit so the keen pricing and the variety of stock is a real incentive for us. Thus have had to assemble many an item and have never had an issue with either the instructions or the hardware needed. ^ stars from us!

Overall a good experience and would recommend to friends – Good customer service, accurate tracking information and product arrived in store on time, good quality item for its price, only downside was a few of the part id stickers where missing, which made identifying the parts required for each build step hard, however the instruction diagram was sufficiently detailed to help identify the pieces required Show reply

Very happy ! – I received amazing service inside the store when choosing my items aswell as over the phone when I had any questions regarding my delivery. Delivery drivers showed respect and handled items with care. Easy to assemble furniture, very happy with my products . Wanted to buy a mattress after moving and paid using Klarna. The payment went into review for security reasons because there was a mismatch of details, so I haven’t been able to collect my mattress.

Now, in this day and age of buy now pay later there’s going to be a mismatch in details, especially through Klarna. You’d think a company as big as FF would have this sorted by now.

I know it’s a 1st world problem but it’s a bit different of a pain because I’d just moved and needed a mattress to sleep on tonight.

I contacted support and provided ID, card details, Klarna transaction details showing the generated card details and just got a generic ‘we need to verify transaction details’ without an offer to see if the process could be sped up somehow.

I contacted support again with all the details and no reply.

I’m all for security policies being in place to protect people, but it was a bit frustrating after providing as much evidence of the transaction as I could and there wasn’t even the offer to see what could be done.

It’s a $189.00 mattress. For goodness sake if I was going to buy a mattress with dodgy or stolen credit card details I would at least try to buy the most expensive mattress they have.

I’ve worked into retail for the past 15 years and it’s the small things like these that make a difference to customers. It’s a shame that this small thing was too small to even offer to try and speed up the process.

emails or return my call. Customer service messaged me from this review and said the store would be in contact with me. That didn’t happen. So my husband called and they assured me the issue would be fixed by Monday last week. Still waiting.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE PRODUCTS - THEY WILL JUST IGNORE YOU – I purchased a $1800 sofa, it fell apart within a year. Reached out to customer service, they agreed to replace it. Shameful! – I purchased the lounge in the accompanying photo, and many other pieces from the Venice set. After I had the lounge for 3 and a half years, the fabric all started to peel off. I was totally devastated! I had spent a fortune on 8 pieces of this lounge suite. I contacted the manager at Fantastic Furniture, Rutherford, and told him what had happened… Read more

to all of the pieces I had purchased. I called , I emailed and I sent photos. The manager’s cold, hard response was that the lounges were out of their three year warranty (by between 6 months and a year, depending on the piece) and nothing could be done. In my opinion this is not normal wear and tear! This is a fault in the fabric! This view is backed up by the fact that Fantastic Furniture don’t even sell this fabric anymore. One of the floor staff even told me that the reason they do not sell the exact same lounges any more was because customers were returning them because of the peeling. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t notice the peeling until just after the warranty had expired. I had spent thousands of dollars on many pieces to furnish two lounge rooms and they were all peeling! Shame on Fantastic Furniture for their lack of integrity! Beware of this company as they have no ethics, and do not care that they are taking thousands of your hard earned money and selling you substandard, defective products that need to be thrown out in just over three years! They should have been honest and said that yes there was a fault with the product and that they would refund my money. Totally disappointed by their product and totally disgusted by their attitude and integrity!

Ridiculous waiting times – If you want to buy furniture for your house NEXT YEAR then this is the place to go. A sales associate will NOT come up & help you, you will be told 5-6 weeks wait and then you are still waiting, without a word at over 10 weeks for the rest of your furniture. Show details

Excellent In House Service – My partner & I recently went to Fantastic Furniture Rutherford NSW to purchase a tv cabinet, I ended up purchasing the tv unit a bedroom sweet & 2 paintings. You are not a valued customer at our local Rutherford store – I recently purchased a few items at the Rutherford store, the initial transaction was ok although I had to interrupt the sales person who was on their phone to ask for service. fee she quoted then suggested I take one of the items which was 'just in a box', her words! I left with delivery organised the following day and went to the pick up dock to find the gentleman couldn't fit the box in on his one attempt. He told me to go back inside and add it to the delivery. I immediately did so. The young lady then told me I had to pay another fee for delivery! I stated that was not fair, I'd left the store for 5 mins and I had already paid my delivery fee anyway. With her attitude returning from talking to the acting manager saying "You have to pay" I kindly said I didn't think that was fair when she had already charged me the delivery fee, so I asked to please refund the whole purchase. She said she needed a code like it was such an inconvenience. The acting manager came out and with no solution offered or any words spoken to me, he happily began to process the refund. When I stated to him I thought it was unfair, he replied that if I didn't pay it he would have too!. My concerns here were that my business is not welcomed by this staff and for a matter of a few extra dollars they were mors happy to refund the whole purchase than to keep me as a valued customer. I was totally shocked by the performance of this acting manager and in the manner he handled this. It was extremely inconvenient for him to refund my money as I had paid in cash and he had locked away the takings..he then didn't have the exact change to give me so actually gave me more money back then what I paid for the order!! I felt very unvalued here and I have purchased many things from this store over the years but I now realise my business is not welcomed here. It's ashame in such a small community that you are left feeling like you will no longer be visiting the local store. You are not valued here unfortunately. I left very disappointed but I did learn a very valuable lesson from this store, actually I learnt more than one. The most important one is they really don't want your business and they don't give fantastic service after all.

told him one minute and left him standing there. Now my problem is that no one greeted him in a polite way by saying hello someone will be with you soon. He just got told one minute. i then got annoyed and said how do i pay for something around here. I was told we are all serving customers right now in a abrupt way, then the other lady spoke up and said i told him ill be one minute. Every customer is important and manners do count. So teaching employees to be courteous helps customers to be patient. But if your standing in a large building and not being served with a simple greeting. Absolutely appaulling service.

Great looking furniture – In-store and warehouse staff were very helpful especially the guy who helped me put the stuff in my car. The assemble was a huge issue, very complicated and you need at least 2 people. It took hours! The Quality is mostly great.
