Fantastic Furniture NSW, Warrawong

Ordering in store at Warrawong NSW was great, staff very helpful. Delivery was really good & the tracker was working perfectly. Delivery drivers were polite & helpful & on time. Assembly was easy. Ordered over $6,200. Worth of furniture was told it will take upto 3 weeks to arrive. I was ok with that. I received updates through the tree weeks but day of delivery was appalling. I took a day off to receive delivery. They pulled up in driveway got out of truck looked around like they were lost ..... I was standing having a cuppa looking… Read more

through the window..... I hear the phone ring. I walk over to pick it up and it stops ringing I then hear truck reversing from driveway I go back to window thinking they are turning truck around as there still 100m from my door and can get within 3-4 m of the door in truck. Then phone rings again. I walk over it stops ringing I call number back assuming it's delivery driver but the phone number doesn't accept incoming calls. I walk back to window there gone

I took a while day off to watch two men pull up in a truck get out have a smoke get back in and leave.

I called store and they basically called me a liar I described there truck to them incase maybe I was wrong but they confirmed that was their truck. Yet still basically accused me of lying saying no one was home the driver called you twice and knocked on your door.

I then went on to describe the two men I seen and the closest they came to my actual house was 100m he went onto say there is nothing he can do we can bring it back in 3 days if U like ? I think I'll just go get my money back

The staff were lovely upto the point I handed them $6,200. Then I just became a number

My advice would be to avoid dealing with their deliveries as I have found this one of the most distressing procedures ever. And the lack of empathy from the company compounds the issue

The range is great, and I love how they switch it up every now and then. One of my favourite features about the couches they sell, is that they come with 2 different sets of legs to suit practically everyone's household! For the price, you get the quality you would expect and even more at times (not going to lie, I have had a couple of issues with fabric quality or the legs not being as stable as I would like on certain flooring, but the customer service I received was amongst the best I have ever received and I got the issue solved no more than 48 hours later). The furniture was quite easy to assemble on my own, but a lot quicker and easier with 2+ people (especially on some of the dining sets). Overall, I would highly recommend Fantastic Furniture for anyone, whether it be to style a house for selling, a new family starting out, or anyone just willing to change their style and home around with some amazing new furniture.

Excellent staff but disappointed with product – We had a jazz 3 seater and 2 seater especially made with extra cost fabric and fabric protection. We finally received the sofas after waiting 2 months in January 2017. The cushions have surprised me with how much they HAVE NOT been able to withstand. We don't have young ones, only adults, and we don't often use the jazz sofas. The little use that they have had has disappointed us. The warranty on the sofas probably won't cover the cushions? As I stated we only received the 2 sofas in January 2017, and it's only July 2017. I understand that these are made to be affordable, but really, we paid and are disappointed overall with the 2 Jazz Sofas, as I really can't see them lasting like the others we have had in the past.

Excellent service and after care – I am so happy with ALL I bought. My lounge is comfy, Dinning room chairs are too. Table looks great. On delivery day it never arrived so I called at 3.30pm & spoke with Chris, he checked & there was a small error so he arranged delivery for the very next day! As a way of saying sorry, he waived the delivery fee for the two lounge chairs that I have on back order. Good old fashion service you don't see much anymore. Show details ·  1

Terrible customer service – I placed a lounge order in May and it arrived in July. One of the seat fabric seat was damaged and there were marks on fabric at few places (clearly visible). I made a complain to their manager [Name Removed] (Warrawong store) and was told their head office will look into this. [Name Removed] who told me that this is not a $4000 purchase and it will take as long as it takes. I was forced to make a return of sofa and he couldn’t care less if a complain was made against him. Seems like company doesn’t care about its customers. Later I spoke to their customer service team and was told that they don’t have any authority over Warrawong store. She put me on hold to speak to the store manager and soon, I was informed that store has decided to collect it; I have got no other option then to return it. Warrawong store operates on its own and follows their own policies. No wonder why this store’s employees are so confident after treating their customer like this (as their manager has got their back) and why Fantastic Furniture still lags behind its competitors. Poor service. Will never recommend ever.

Animal hairs and food in carpet – We bought a carpet back in January. Because we hadn’t received a lounge we had put a deposit on, we did not open up the carpet. carpet we could not smell it I rang the store and explained this. The person said to bring it in to look. We brought it in today. The same man agreed that there was animal hairs. However said after consulting the manager could not take it back. Said we should have checked it before, which granted, we should have done.He said that we should have noticed the smell earlier but we didn’t. Be what may, then basically accusing us of trying to cheat them, this does not take away from the fact that we were telling the truth. You sent us an inferior product. Someone from your logistics dept has swapped what was meant for us for a used product. We did not pay for a used product. Furthermore, we do not own any animals. We can prove it to them. We don’t have a rodent problem. We left the carpet there in store to prove to them it was not about the money or trying to swap something we have used but to show them that we were being fair dinkum I suggest people avoid buying from “Fantastic furniture” or you might have the same experience. Take my word, we will be vindicated one way or another sooner or later. They will find out there is a rotten egg somewhere in the company who needs to be fired.

Good quality for price - stylish – The flat pack was a little difficult to put together but the quality of the dresser is great. Looks timeless in our daughters room. Show details ·  1

Affordable quality – We were looking to buy some barstools for our reconditioned kitchen and after looking at a number of stores we were delighted to find the ideal barstools for us at Fantastic Furniture. Oops! Oh well! – Went into the store just to browse. Ended up buying a cabinet instead! Granted, I did need the cabinet - but it was still very much an impulse buy. Works great, was easy to put together (with two people), service was prompt and delivery guys were quick.
