Exceptional Service – I recently bought an office chair from the store at West Gosford NSW. I was served by Rodney, who was outstanding! He patiently explained the features of a range of chairs. He was knowledgeable, friendly and even showed me how I could assemble the chair myself (I'm an older woman!). Great coordination between stores – Service at both the West Gosford and Tuggerah stores was great. The West Gosford store held the items that we wanted as they were not available at the Tuggerah store. Fits perfectly, exactly what I needed – Love my new chair and filing cabinet. A bit disappointed with the time frame for the delivery. Told 2 weeks, took 3. When I went to pick the 2 products up, after I received a message that they were there, was told one item hadn’t arrived yet. cushions don't stay on – the cushions slip off the couch constantly the chaise cushion always slips off when you sit on it, very annoying not comfortable like in the store  Show details

Delivery debacle – Was originally told that it would be a 1-2 week wait for our ordered products (which was fine). However, rang after 3 weeks just to check on their progress. Was eventually called back and told that it would be delivered the following day (a Friday) and would be given a 2 hour window by the delivery driver. On the Friday my pregnant (38 weeks that… Read more

day) was abused on the phone by this driver after he showed up at the wrong address (without that 2hr notice window), and claimed that he would not be delivery again. After phoning the store to ask for next steps to take I was told that the warehouse was told (likely by the driver being petty) that we did not want delivery anymore and wanted to pick it up ourselves (something that was not true as we have paid for delivery). Due to that false message to the warehouse the following day was also not possible for delivery. Instead we booked in for the following Tuesday (the next available date). Despite doing this and confirming this date my girlfriend received a phone call later that day from another store worker claiming that nothing had been recorded (so information had to be relayed once again) On the Tuesday I had not heard from the delivery driver about the 2hr window, so at 2.15pm I called the store to confirm it was coming to which I was told it was definitely locked in and that the TBA would be texted to me shortly. At 2.30pm I received another call asking me if it was being delivered to Nowra (our address is Terrigal, and the wrong address the week before was The Entrance). I was told we would not be getting it delivered that day either. Despite getting promised the return of our delivery fee the concept of losing out on multiple work days is lost of Fantastic Furniture staff. I also missed out on a midwife appointment just to be there for a delivery that once again never came. The next booked in day is now clashing with the potential birth of my child as I sit in hospital as we wait to see if my girlfriend needs to be induced.
