On my NBN25 plan, Speedtest.net continues to tell me my speeds are 26or27/8or9Mbps, too.

Good price. Great service. Internet service drops out often. Unlimited data 25mb plan, $39 per month for six months then $57 after. The service was pretty good when I was connecting. However, she called back in 15 minutes to try one last thing and Hey presto! It worked.
However with Flip, the connection often drops out. Sometimes for a few seconds. Sometimes for up to a minute. I've had NBN and the same modem with multiple other providers for 4 years at my current residence. The internet has always been reliable with the previous providers.
Contacted their customer service and it took awhile to get back to me and I was overseas by the time they did. Will try their diagnostic tests when I get back.

I did accidentally disconnect my wifi and had to call Customer Service to help me reconnect the service whereby I spoke to Michael who was so patient and guided me through the reconnection phase. He was outstanding to deal with and was so patient and helpful. Michael had me up and running in 15 minutes. with customer service is very difficult — I often cannot clearly understand the representatives, and my concerns are not properly addressed. The support team provides little technical assistance and no effective solutions.
I have already lodged a formal complaint with the TIO (Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman), and the case is still ongoing. The fact that this has escalated to the TIO shows how poorly customer issues are handled.
Several of my friends were also attracted to FLIP by their advertised cheap pricing, but they have experienced the same problems — extremely poor speed and unreliable service. In reality, many of FLIP’s plans are not even particularly cheap compared to other providers, especially considering the poor performance.
FLIP does not operate its own network infrastructure and relies on third-party networks, which appears to directly impact service quality and speed. The result is a consistently poor internet experience.
In summary:

Communication difficulties
Ongoing TIO complaint
Misleading “cheap price” appeal
No own network infrastructure
Poor value for money
If you want stress, frustration, and constant service issues, choose FLIP. Otherwise, I strongly recommend avoiding them.

exhaustingly long recording of options. I was informed there were 5 calls in line before me, so I opted to be called back. Within 5 minutes, I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Wasif. He was polite, kind, calm and easy to understand, which was a pleasant change from Dodo. And he told me my WiFi, which I signed up for last night (a Sunday) was all set up; that there was nothing further I needed to do! It was that simple! He told me I have a 2 week grace period to see if I like the Flip service, and if not, I can cancel with nothing to pay. I assured him that won't happen. super helpful and answered my calls with minimal wait. I only moved as my 6 month deal had ended and my mobile provider offered an NBN bundle deal that I could not ignore. The past week on my new provider makes me appreciate how good Flip were as Ive needed to phone my new provider as I was getting slow & buffering service and took 30mins to get through to a person. Although the person that answered was nice, they were running through a technical check list where I knew significantly more than them. Therefore I can totally recommended Flip both from their service and their support team. If my new provider experience does not improve, I'll be back with Flip.

I was going to return to FLIP in the future but it's a joke - "well credit you back with a refund" and then "oh we debited the credit" what??? Jokes.
