pain after a short period of time. Tina was great, she took the shoes back and refitted me with a brand-new pair which were the correct size and wider across the foot, charging only for the difference in the original price. I bought floorsheim slip on boots about 7 years ago. Probably worn them 20 times. Started wearing them again, only to find the soles have nearly disintegrated with big cracks and chunks falling out. The rest of the shoes look as though I bought them yesterday. $200 for very poor quality. Not recommended at all. Wouldn't purchase this brand again. Show details

Dress shoe older classic style was on sale for $99. Looks great, leather quality is ok and has taken a few weeks to wear in indicating it's a good shoe fit. It's made in China and is inferior quality to when they were once made in Europe or the USA. It's also hard to find a good shoe salesman who can apply product knowledge and advice. to upmarket shoe shops is you need to hire well dressed sales staff who knows the product their selling and understands the customers needs besides taking payment. Getting served by uninterested staff is a put off.

and Melbourne stores that this is normal for a heel to break and deteriorate within hours. I have never experienced this issue with shoes before. My Wittner shoes I wear day in day out and may repair the heel within in 12 months of wearing them. Not confident in investing in any more shoes from this company. This is an inconvenience and a very bad experience.

to nugget shoes and turned the blue trim browm - see attached photos. The nugget was not spoken about when I brought these shoes, and any nugget should be able to be used on good quality shoes. DON'T BUY FLOORSHEIM SHOES!

non-existent between the sole and the upper (the glue has obviously worn out). Worse part is my previous shoes - all Florsheim lasted 10 years and thought the same would be applicable this time around - definitely gone for cheaper manufacturing.

the store and I was served by a young lady, Redwin P. She was in the store on her own and was simultaneously serving me and two other men all buying shoes. This young lady remained focused, calm, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire time I was there and the other two men seemed just as pleased with her service as I. I don't know if you have a staff recognition system but it would be great if this young lady's manner, attitude and service was to be recognised in some tangible way. Good sales Service.Poor quality product – Very Disappointed.I brought a pair of Florsheim Boots.After only around 2 months of wear the treads have worn off the soles.I will be lucky if I get 6 months wear in total. expensive brands. If they were just a comfortable, they didn't last as long. If they were just as durable, they didn't have the comfort. I still from time to time try something else, (after like 20 pairs or whatever it is now you get bored and look for a change) but have never found anything that compares and always come back to them.

them (handled with care, cleaning, leather conditioning, polishing, etc) and worn them on average 5 days per week (to work) for over 2 years straight; they have been amazing; correctly fitted (size & width) they are extremely comfortable, the heal is almost perfect, after so much use. I was so impressed I went back to Florsheim last week and bought 2 more pairs of similar boots (a black pair as a back-up pair for work, and a "cognac" coloured pair to wear casually). The service was exceptional at both the Stanmore outlet and the Wynyard (Brookfield Place) store. Obviously, I cannot recommend Florsheim enough; great quality boots and incredible value for money, particularly when they are on sale (Never pay retail. ;-)

are lucky to be an E. Then the leather sole started separating from the welt even though it was stitched. Then the sole came off and it turned out the stitching on the sole was just fake stitching and the sole was glued to the plastic welt. These shoes were not cheap and were sold as Florsheim’s top of the range. I still have a pair of Royal Imperial shoes that were made in India and they have been fantastic. So, like many other reviewers I won’t be buying another pair of Florsheim shoes.

pair of shoes (additional) she said she would swap the damaged pair and went out back to get them, bringing me the said non stocked shoes. She then said, "I won't be giving you another pair if you bring them back". I replied by saying, I can still bring them back if they're broken, to which she said, "you wont get another pair.". This went back and forth briefly ending in her accepting I can bring them back for repair however it is unclear whether she thought I was accepting that I was paying for a repair. I have not had the shoes for long but so cannot comment too far but they have been comfortable to this point.

a delivery charge. Did not look at my receipt until this morning, very irritated. There was no delivery charge for buying the same item online yet I was charged a delivery charge for buying in the shop just because there was no stock in the shop! If I was told of a delivery charge, I probably wouldn't have minded or I just wouldn't buy it. Check your bill before you leave the shop. Hope the shoe I bought is worth my while otherwise there will no more Florsheim for me.

unsuspecting public without a warning that they are liable to disintegrate before your eyes. One of the three pairs of shoes I have had to discard were a few years old and were worn two or three times every month, before the heels crumbled away. The other two were un-worn new shoes which had been pristinely kept in their original box and wrapping, in a wardrobe, for several years. The heels and soles of both of these new shoes disintegrated the first time that they were worn. When I complained to Florsheim’s office in Australia, the reply was simply that all shoes were out of warranty and that the shoes should be worn and not kept in a wardrobe. Does this mean that an expensive pair of shoes cannot be kept for special occasions, but have to be constantly worn? Florsheim’s doubtlessly well-rehearsed reply to me makes it sound as though their disintegrating shoes are all my fault! Not a great way to do business.

which have now had the soles and heels totally disintegrated and fall apart almost into powder. Sent photos to Florsheim who used the excuse they were older than 12 months, hence out of warranty. The poor quality of materials used for these shoes is a complete sham, and I warn people to be aware that the shoes you buy from Florsheim, now made in China as everything else does com from China, will and do fall apart, even when only used occasionally for formal occasions. I would never recommend to buy any Florsheim shoes to any of my colleagues and friends. Their customer service is one of the worst I have encountered.

Sole destroying :-( – I bought my brown shoes about 2 years ago but have hardly worn them. Now the sole has literally split across where the pattern changes. Returned Shoes – Returned a pair of shoes as water was coming through sole. Shoes were 8 months old but shoes should last longer especially as I had not worn every day. Florsheim returned over 90% of the value towards another pair of shoes. Shoes aren’t what they used to be but this issue of quality is one faced market wide for various reasons.
