replacement table did the same thing but worse, the top is so bowed in centre it looks like a donkeys back! And the wood finish has turned black in tiger line strips. I’m on a FB home decorating page getting multiple messages from people saying same thing about their stuff! Looked like good quality but cheap MDF board coated in thin laminate top. Save your money. getting angry over the phone for them to rush and have the couch delivered. I don't appreciate being misled, and feel that their service was lacking. If they had told me from the outset that it would take two months to receive my order, I would have felt informed and could have made a choice based on that time frame- instead, I was completely misled.
Horrible customer service and product! – Please do not buy dining tables from this store. I bought the Boulevard 1800*900 dining table from this store and accidentally spilled vodka cruiser on the table. I wiped it immediately with a wet cloth and half an hour later I see a stain on the table. It actually removed the outer layer of the table which means whatever they used to protect the… Read more
table was not good enough to take spills. I called them to complain, however they blamed it on us for spilling the drink. As of now whenever I use the table I need to put a cover on it just to make sure that it protects the table from any spillages. I spent $1000 for this and I regret every penny. The technician cane to fix the problem (which has been fixed). However they are not willing to add another protective layer for us and told us to do it on our own. Basically in conclusion if you buy a dining table from them you can’t use it as a dining table to eat or drink. It is only a show piece. Horrible horrible experience!
Unsatisfactory experience - would not buy from here again – I purchased one item - a bed frame - and this took 3 deliveries to get right, and even those were rescheduled several times as the store called later and told me that the time we initially agreed on could no longer be met. bed incorrectly. It took the third delivery to finally get it right, and even then the drivers almost didn't have the right tools to do the job. At each stage, staff at the store I purchased from - Artarmon in Sydney - showed little to no insight on resolving the matter with no other suggestion other than they'll book another delivery and get it right the next time. I don't mind the quality of the product, but don't want the hassle of going through such poor customer service again - who knows when I would get my next delivery!

Excellet bed – Bought online but did visit the store before purchase. Bed quality is great. Very comfy bed and comes with 2 spacious drawers that eliminated my need for a tall boy! Ordered to find that item is out of stock – My sister-in-law ordered a coffee table for us and now we get to know its out of stock so we have to wait until June to get it. Bad tactics to let someone put an out of stock item into a shopping cart and grab money for it. And get this. You can still buy this item ! excellent courier guys – made a purchase in store, it was a quick wait time only took two weeks to get my lounge, as they had it in stock in melbourne. lounge to be delivered, ive had trouble in the past with other furniture stores where they stuffed me around and never got the product, so ill be shopping again at focus if i need to purchase big furniture items.

Comfortable couches – We purchased a 2 and 3 seater lounge set in November 2017. It was delivered in December 2017 we are thrilled with the couches, they are very comfortable. Communication in the lead up to the delivery was fantastic. However the delivery cost (purchased at time of purchase of couches in the showroom) was on the expensive side. Show details

Sofa was out of stock but delivered sooner than the expected timeframe. Excellent service – We got a great deal on our furniture, delivery took place on time and as arranged and they even assembled the furniture for us. Wish I could say the same about the other place we ordered furniture from... The only downside is all the cardboard we got stuck with, I would happily pay extra to have had it taken away. further delayed to November! I am very disappointed for this further delay but still decided to wait and asked the store if any compensation for this further delay. I got a note from the Artarmon store bluntly mentioned that the Table will be delivered in a second free delivery and that's the discount.
It's not logical at all, as if the shop do their job properly I would still pay one delivery and no second delivery is needed.
The table was delivered in Aug17 with a crack on the surface. I reported the faulty and was told the replacement will be in Nov17 , and when I chased again early November, was told it will be in December.
As at today , no confirmation of replacement and it’s almost December now, I am still have the craked table.
I highly recommended NOT use focus on.
Product ok, pick up service with attitude – Purchased a bed - product ok. said “read that”...the sign requested customers only ring the bell once. I had not seen that request earlier and did not appreciate being treated like a child. Couldn’t see why it was such a big deal.
Very poor attitude. Detrimental to overall experience, would think twice before buying from this store again.
