were told that the bed had been delayed and that it would not arrive until the end of April. We were disappointed that they did not keep us informed of this delay.

We called the store again at the end of April to check on the status of our order, as we had already sold our old bed and were sleeping on the floor. Unfortunately, the customer representative informed us that the bed was further delayed and would not be delivered until mid-May. We were frustrated that we had not received any updates from the store during this time.

We understand that delays can occur, but it is unacceptable for a store to not keep its customers informed. We have had better experiences purchasing furniture from other stores like Amart, Haggle, and Fantastic Furniture. We advise potential customers to stay away from this store if they do not have the furniture available in their warehouse. It has been a very uncomfortable experience for us, as it is currently cold and we do not have a bed.

March 28th 2019 Update: Purchase of Furniture

Recently purchased Dining table and chairs, Buffet, Hall Stand and TV cabinet from Focus on Furniture at Gepps Cross. The customer service was excellent without any pressure and they were very patient. The suggestions on mixing and matching furniture was very helpful. The store was well laid out and a great selection for our needs. The quality of our purchase is excellent and the delivery and assembling of the furniture in home was very professional with considerable care taken. We can not fault the overall experience. I would easily recommend them if you want excellent service.

Good quality products worth the price – Purchased in-store a couple of times. Staff are polite and helpful in store. The first purchase I made came within the expected time frame (3-4 weeks). order I made from there took about 2-3 weeks longer than the expected time frame which was disappointing, especially because we were moving into our new house. We had to be proactive about it and call the store every week for updates which was disappointing. Later on we needed some repairs done to the bed we ordered which took a long time to arrange. It was all fixed in the end though - all the repair people we had were great and got it sorted quickly.

In short - products are good quality for the price, delivery times can be lengthy so just be aware. Staff are very polite but just need to be a bit more proactive following up with customers and keeping them in the loop about delayed deliveries/repairs etc.

Unfair practice on delayed delivery – Purchased a couch that they said would arrive end August, and in fact will likely arrive earlier. It hasn't. When I rang they said it won't be till mid-Sept. they're the one not holding up their end of the bargain.Also the man who I spoke to regarding the cancellation was quite rude when I was asking about a refund. Never buying here again, will stick with Freedom or Fantastic Furniture for my next purchases as they always deliver on time and have excellent customer service.

Be cautious! – I put a lounge & dining set on order for my new home I was purchasing.. I could understand if it was simply a change of mind, but I am left without a home, trying to pick up my life and now I'm down $600 for absoloutely nothing! They offered a gift voucher for 12 months, however that is useless to me bevause I don't have a home and have no prospects on when I would be able to use that? Potential buyers please be aware of the fine print. I would not recommend this business just on principal alone

Twas perfect before Christmas – We bought the Alfie Bed, and it assembled easily. We were very happy with the service and product & price. The mattress wasn't initially delivered with the bed, however the friendly staff at Dry Creek organised the delivery driver to deliver it same day. A great reflection of staff going out of their way after an initial error to own it We've been sleeping well since.
