zero experience delivering to inner city areas with narrow, one way streets.

The first delivery drivers cancelled the order and refused to deliver the items, as they "Won't carry it down the street 100 metres." I emailed the store manager and didn't even get a response and when I called they were not very helpful. I was promised another delivery driver with a smaller truck. But when they arrived, it was the same sized truck, that again stated they usually cancel the order if they can't park in front of the property. They delivered the items, but again had issues with parking and said they couldn't assemble it and that I should save the money and do it myself.

The products are good but I would avoid paying for their delivery service and organise delivery yourself or with airtasker.

The sales agent, Charlotte, at the Nunawading store was patient as I tried virtually all of the dining room chairs to make sure that they not only looked good and matched the dining room table I chose, but were comfortable. Same with the bar stools. My new home is in a fairly remote area, but delivery was no problem. I opted for the package deal of delivery, installation, and removal of packing materials. As a person of a certain age and moving into a down-sized community, it was important that the delivery was on time and that I was not left with making arrangements for installation and packing material removal. Focus came through on all counts. I highly recommend Focus, which my sister took seriously and has purchased new dining room chairs to replace well-worn ones.

significantly better in quality than some of the overseas built furniture. We have had a couch for six years and the structural integrity of the couch is amazing. I’m now going to buy another bed from this store this week.

The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful, letting us rearrange the modular lounge to see how it moves easily. We purchased the Bellevue lounge and we love it. Impressed we could get the lounge delivered the following week. It is comfy and feels durable. Highly recommend.

I bought a queen bed from the Nuawading store just before the boxing day sale and been told the price is the same as the boxing day price. However, few days later they dropped further $100 off. I briefly stepped out for breakfast, rushed back as soon as I received the message, but the driver said he had already left five minutes earlier. issue was customer service. When I went to the store to reschedule, I was told the next delivery would be a week later, which didn’t work for me. I explained that I might need to cancel and order from IKEA instead, as they offer faster delivery. The sales assistant responded sarcastically, saying, “Who wants to buy IKEA furniture these days?” Her tone was rude and unprofessional. Afterwards, I noticed many similar complaints in their reviews about delivery and customer service. I recommend checking them carefully before ordering. FYI: I’m not making accusations to label this as racism but as an Asian customer, the comment made me feel uneasy.

Unfortunately we will not be using Focus on Furniture for any future purchases as clearly they have a zero care factor.

I had a great experience with Focus On. The stuff is stylish and good quality, and the staff were really helpful without being pushy. Everything from choosing to delivery was smooth. Definitely recommend!
