was an easy drive to the Kangaroo Flat store to try it out for comfort. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful and I appreciated that, once the salesperson had given us all the information we needed, she left my husband and I to discuss the purchase. The lounge suite was in stock and within 2 weeks it had been delivered. Assembly was easy and we are so happy with the quality and comfort of the product. After having our old lounge suite for over 20 years we are definitely enjoying reclining in luxury now. This is the second time we have made a purchase from Focus on Furniture in Bendigo and both times we have been very satisfied with our purchases.

didn't commit to a product until they were sure it was available. They promised delivery on Sept 16th because they didn't want us sitting on the floor any longer than was necessary, but they in fact delivered a day early. Even the delivery guys were friendly and accommodating (my husband didn't answer the phone when they were on their way at the pre arranged time) The furniture is comfy and reasonable quality for the price. We had an issue (non issue really... this was Bendigo store after all) with a dining room chair leg. Emailed the store with a photo, new base made available immediately because they anticipate that sometimes things will break when they are in transit. So items ordered, delivered to the store then immediately dispatched to us and setup in our house without a hiccup within 9 days. We are still waiting for a call from the Nunawading store manager..... suspect thats not going to happen.

If only there was a 0 star option – Bought a dining setting for just under $2000 from Bendigo store. Waited a month for delivery. Was delivered by courier company who dumped 5 giant boxes in my dining room. Didn't unpack the boxes, assemble the table or remove the giant boxes. newborn baby wondering how the hell im supposed to put this together. As far as i was aware i didn't buy a flatpack. I bought a dining setting and expected it to be delivered as such. I asked the courier what I'm supposed to do with 5 giant boxes. He said to take them to the tip. If i had a vehicle or trailer capable of that i wouldn't have paid for delivery in the first place!!

I called the store manager who told me that they don't offer the "service" of assembling the furniture. He argued with me that furniture stores don't do this... i beg to differ. Every piece of furniture I've bought or had made has been assembled on delivery, and rubbish removed as that's what you pay the delivery fee for.

To top off the joyous experience 3 out of the 8 chairs delivered were broken. #neveragain.

Branden Recliners are a Safety Risk – We bought Brandon Recliners couple of months back. We have not been able to use them at all because both opening and closing the recliners is very difficult and risky. It is very difficult for an old person or a child to close the recliner by pushing it down with legs because it is very tight and hard. We have had 5 cases of tilt, trip and fall.… Read more

The store inspected the item and verbally acknowledged the underlying risk but were unable to take a return or get the problem fixed. The design is not fit for safety. The company should consider recall and discontinue of this product in current form.

Not very pleased – Ordered our furniture well and truely over 5 months ago and still haven’t received our whole order, we were guaranteed it would be here 6 weeks after ordering it and only received the first half 2 weeks ago, and still waiting on the rest. with no call for an apology or even to let us know. We understand because of COVID there is a wait on things, but 5 months is ridiculous for the prices we paid especially without a call from anyone explaining what is going on.

Academy swivel chair – The most comfortable chair I've ever brought. I'm having a few health issues and this chair makes it more bearable. It the best thing I have purchased I love it – I found the store clean and presented really well. The staff there were great and the know what they are talking about. I feel that the went above and beyond to help us and we're really good. We wanted to purchase a bed base with storage in it and as my husband is in a wheelchair it had to accommodate him for getting in and out with ease. White King Bed – Bed is great quality and looks great. Easy assembly, I could do it on my own! Plenty of quality slats and supports for the big mattress. Store was happy to customise the king bed package to include bedsides and tall boy I preferred.
