Well, you'd expect good customer service when purchasing a product, which is what you get from this store. However, just pray nothing goes wrong with the product because all customer service goes out the window. They have mastered the art of ignoring and deflecting. (as they do) even though the sale price was around the same as their competitors non sale price for simular quality. 40 Winks said the quickest they could deliver was on Tuesday afternoon (one of the competitors was offering same day delivery but we had run out of legs so accepted that time frame) On the first night that we set up the mattress I looked up the 40 Winks site to check something and to my surprise the same mattress had gone on special, another $250 (off the reduced price) I thought, maybe if I call 40 Winks, they will honour the new price as a lot of retailers do. NO, sorry, nothing we can do about that. I said, but I could have purchased this Monday morning and still had it delivered the next day, why wouldn't someone have told me about the new price? Sorry, not our problem, have a good day. Please check your retailers policy on this one before you part with you hard earned cash. At worst, if you go to 40 Winks, don’t accept that, “discounted price” as their bottom line, they have a bit more they can shave off. The owner/franchisee at 40 Winks Mandurah doesn’t really care much for repeat business, shortsighted and unwise I think. Classic case of money before relationship.
Happy to report that since posting this review, I have had a call from 40 Winks Mandurah to say they are happy to refund the difference in price, the money went into my account the next day. Thanks 40 Winks head office, some kudos restored.
Purchased a king koil Chiro resolve mattress from the Rockingham store in March . Within 3 months it was sagging quite significantly whilst in sleeping position . I went to Forty Winks Melville looking for a mattress with little idea about mattress quality or what I'd be able to afford. I first saw a staff member and later the manager. All Forty Winks did was forward my complaint to the manufacturer. There was no post-purchase support whatsoever. The manufacturer, unsurprisingly, refused to take any responsibility either, claiming the contract is between the customer and Forty Winks.
So, you’re left stuck in the middle, with neither party accepting any fault—and Forty Winks, who should be representing their customer, doing absolutely nothing to help.

feeling pretty lumpy and uncomfortable. I went back to the shop to arrange a refund but was told that before that could happen a sales manager would need to visit my home to inspect the mattress. Two weeks later the sales manager phoned to arrange a visit and asked some surprising questions. He asked me my relationship status (which is single) and then told me the mattress was really designed for couples and then asked me my weight (Im at the heavy end of normal BMI/weight range) and told me Id bought the wrong mattress. Neither of these issues was mentioned by the sales assistant when I bought the mattress. The sales manager said he would visit to inspect the mattress anyway and when he did he claimed the mattress felt like it was meant to. He repeatedly told me it was a bottom of the range mattress and this is what he would expect of it and that really it was designed for teenagers and guest rooms. Again neither point was mentioned when Id bought it and its not at all clear how it being allegedly designed for couples fits with it being allegedly designed for teenagers and guests. Despite the claim that there was nothing wrong with the mattress, the shop offered to take it back as 'a gesture of good will' and give me $779 credit towards another mattress. I was shown two mattresses one at about $4000 and the other at just over $7000. Needless to say the more comfortable mattress was the more expensive one and as I was reluctant to pay that much I visited Harvey Normans who had a very similar mattress for just over $2000. Forty Winks weren't prepared to come close to this price so Ive written off the $999 I spent. It makes more sense to buy another mattress from Harvey Norman than from Forty Winks and I will never be buying anything from Forty Winks again.

still inside the original plastic packaging. My husband and I laid down and felt the mattress. It was different when we tried it in the store and when we tried it at home. We straight away felt the discomfort since we both have back issues. We decided not to use the mattress and thought maybe we could exchange it for a more comfortable one. The next day (Monday), I went back to the store to check if we could "exchange" the mattress since it was still on its original plastic packaging. I will not try if I know that we had slept on it and it is not on the original packaging, as I know their returns' terms and conditions. The ladies straight away turned me down. They said I purchased it a week ago, and we had slept on it for a couple of nights. I explained that it was only delivered the following week from the date of purchase and explained everything, but they didn't listen. I asked one of the ladies about the 90-day trial period; if the customer is uncomfortable, they will do an exchange. Straight away, she said, “NO, we don't do that”. She said it can take up to 8 weeks for us to get used to the mattress. She said we should sleep on it for a number of weeks so our bodies can adjust to it. Do we need to struggle with the discomfort? I asked if they could consider giving me a store credit, and we would return the mattress at the store at our own cost, but my request was declined. It was so frustrating. I thought their motto was “We’re serious about sleep”, but NO, they are not. I tried emailing the head office to see if they can help to rectify the issue but no assistance given. Still the Midland lady is the one replying on my emails. There is no resolution at all! So disappointing!

No recourse with uncomfortable mattress – Bought a Crown Premiere Essence Medium mattress in May 23 via BedMatch but my neck and back are worse off after using it for 9 months, with more frequent visits to chiropractor. We do not normally give refunds or offer credit if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. clause 11 states For health reasons all mattresses and bases, bed linen and pillows are unable to be returned under any circumstance. So clause 10 isn't even needed as clause 11 over rides clause 10. I told her I wasn't interested in doing the bedmatch as my husband only wants a plush mattress as he has back and neck issues and other mattresses make him uncomfortable and give him pain. It's common sense one would think that I would never buy a mattress he doesn't want or doesn't find comfortable or one that will give him pain, a mattress he will be unable to sleep on. She asked if i had spoken to his doctor about a mattress. Which we replied we don't need too. My 61 year old husband and myself are more than capable of deciding on a mattress that we want to sleep on. The Santa Barbara plush mattress perfect for us, as a plush adjustable friendly mattress is what we went into the store to buy.That is what my husband wants to sleep on and finds the most comfortable. I reccommend 40 winks don't stock any mattresses that go against there reccommendations. I reccommend they don't discriminate against disabled customers, by trying to limit there mattress choices. I reccommend they don't write rude comments on customers receipts implying customers are making wrong decisions. After she had done this I told her im very sure no neurosurgeon or doctor would recommend anyone sleep on a mattress that gives him pain, prevents them sleeping and is uncomfortable. Her response was there are chiropractic mattresses. My husband does not find those mattresses comfortable and only wants a plush adjustable friendly mattress she was already told. requested with photos of the sagging mattress (which is unmarked) to them from the store while we were there. On Monday I received an email asking for more photos which we sent. Also photos of the base. Today (Wednesday) I received another email wanting more photos of the sag (even though they already have photos with my husband's level on the mattress on both sides, indicating the unevenness). As I am unable to sleep on this mattress at all and we have taken it to another room and now sleeping on camping mattresses on the base, we cannot drag it back to our bedroom (heavy, memory foam and latex and I cannot help my husband, I've just had a spinal fusion!) we are now unable to do what is now required - to get a broomstick and measure the sag from the base of the broomstick to the mattress - they have already had photos of the level indicating same FGS! We are also now required to take photos of the slats on a slat base - we do not have a slat base, it is an innerspring. I pointed out last Sunday that I am recovering from spinal fusion surgery on 16 January 2023, I need this sorted ASAP. Spinal fusion is a pretty big deal. Today's email leisurely tells me to do the above, then IF they decide to repair it then for us to take the mattress down (how?) to Forty Winks Mandurah and they will take it to ?wherever for repair. What are we supposed to sleep on in the meantime? This is urgent. We did mention to Forty Winks Mandurah that if it this is not resolved quickly then we will be forced to purchase another mattress, even though this one is under guarantee. That lead to a frenzy instore last Sunday trying to sell us an adjustable base - we are not wanting an adjustable base, we just want a mattress we can sleep on, and that doesn't sag! We were told on Sunday that they would likely not repair it but replace the mattress. Mmmm, communications since from Sleepeezey the parent company, are not indicating this. In the interim, I am sleeping on a Clark Rubber foam camping mattress on an innersprung mattress base, as is my husband. This is four weeks on from spinal fusion. However friendly someone is in store and the friendly message that I will likely get in reply on here once this is posted, about they are sorry to hear this and will endeavour to do better, that doesn't help me or anyone else who has written a post on here.

multiple calls to inquire about delivery. When the bed base was finally delivered I had specifically requested for the base to be assembled but it came in pieces. When I asked the delivers about assembly they said they wouldn’t do it because it hadn’t been booked. I contacted the store expressing that I needed it assembled and highlighted the point that I requested assembly when I was in the store making the order. The sales person said it hadn’t been added to order and would be an extra $100 to do it. when I asked to add it she said they didn’t have enough staff to do it and it wouldn’t be possible to do so. Very disappointing because I then ended up out of pocket hiring another assembler to do it because forty winks Osborn park washed their hands of the job once delivered. Even worse considering I had just spent over $3000 for a bed. Highly recommend going elsewhere for better value and service.
