Dani is just a pure goddess!!! Honestly owe her a bottle of wine! Just an extremely helpful and kind lady, happy to bend over backwards to help out. She helped me pull off the impossible, I was in Adelaide trying to organise a mattress on a Friday to be delivered in Perth the Saturday, as when I arrive back I have to isolate for 14days and had no bed! The Adelaide Storeman called every store in Perth checking for stock, not only did Dani manage to find me the mattress I wanted but she also organised a special delivery so it would arrive on time. By far one of the best sales representatives I have ever come across! Very happy to have dealt with her. In. time I was feeling overwhelmed and defeated she honestly made my week.

Forty Winks O'Connor - Be Careful
From an initial perspective the store is well presented, sales people are friendly and try to wow you with their years of dedicated service. They also promise to be with you every step of the way when finding a bed and any after sales service if required. However the truth is far from this, their opinion is every bed in the store is great just lie down and see. They will tell you this bed aligns your spine perfectly, and don't worry if the bed feels warm, you just need breathable sheets. I know I should have been more skeptical but sometimes y...ou would like to think there are just some honest people in this world. What a mistake that was, as soon as you pay for the mattress, game over, god help you if you have any trouble. Once I had the mattress delivered, I called a friend to assist in moving it to my bedroom (King Size) he subsequently told me he had very bad experience with a similar mattress which prompted me to look at the reviews, which were terrible. With this new information I proceeded to call the sales Rep to express my concerns and that I would like to return the mattress and exchange for another. The mattress is unopened and hasn't moved from where it was delivered at this stage. The sales Rep proceeded to blast me and said I hadn't even slept on it and I should sleep on it and if I have any problems we'll go from there. So I opened the mattress and slept on it for the next couple of nights, unfortunately the reviews were accurate and I had a terrible sleep (even got the sleep tracker to prove it) So I went in to the Forty Winks store to have a discussion, they sent me home and said they'd be in contact. The next morning a Rep from the mattress company called and basically said you've opened the mattress and slept on it nothing we can do... Are you serious...What a setup!!!! I only opened the mattress because you advised me to :( The rep proceeded to say they can potentially retop it costing approx.$550 but I'm not interested in throwing more money away.
Perfect Sales and experience
Jayne was more than helpful and knowledgeable with all products at the Midland store. She welcomed my family to the store and could not have done more to assist us. She was very patient with showing us lots of different alternatives to fit our budget. I would definitely recommend Jayne and forty winks in the future to family and friends.

We really needed a new QS mattress badly. 5 weeks ago we decided to start doing the rounds of the bed shops, not really knowing what we wanted, but knew we had to have something of good quality and with a good warranty. My husband has had many back surgeries and still has a lot of back pain, as well as severe arthritis in knees.

When I go into the store to see types of mattresses, the sales lady Jessica was so warm and friendly. She is eager to help me with anything that I need. With her professional knowledge, I surprised that I found a suitable mattress within 15 mins.

Friendly staff with great prices!
My mum needed to buy a new bedroom package and, after shopping at a few bed stores, we are very glad we stopped by Forty Winks! We were met with a friendly staff memeber who met every request we had and did her best to give us the best deal possible. We will definitely be doing the rest of our shopping here!
Went into the Melville store last Thursday and was helped by Jess who normally works at a different store and I found her to be extremely helpful, genuine and friendly. Daniela was also there and she helped me over the phone yesterday and again in store today - nothing was too much trouble and all this while a repairman was fixing a window and making headache inflicting noise. Debb was also there today and she helped with the ordering of the beds as well. Thank you to all for the friendly service - something that we don't see much of anymore.

Have bought quite a few beds over the years from Forty Winks and recently from Forty Winks Midland, found staff to be very friendly with great customer service. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Do NOT expect a refund even if goods not received.
Walked into the Midland WA store and purchased a mattress with details provided by salesman. Later discovering unsuitable for us and within 48 hours we sought a refund to our credit card (a day BEFORE due for delivery).
The request was refused outright by the team including [name removed].
Not wishing a legal battle we resigned ourselves to a $200 cheaper mattress WITHOUT offer of compensation.
The worst experience ever with a retailer.
Delivery was timely and so giving two stars.

Martina at 40 Winks Bunbury is an absolute star. She helped, first of all, with our email enquiries. Went into the store and was given all information on the different beds, helping us make the right choice. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We now have an extremely comfortable adjustable bed that enables myhubby to find a comfortable position to sleep in after major surgery. Thank you Martina - you are worth your weight in gold!
I had been looking for a bed for my spare room. I wanted a reasonable but comfortable mattress. But not one I was going to spend thousands on. I had been to many shops but in the end they were all trying to sell me what I didn’t want. At forty winks they started at the bottom range and moved up until I was happy. They listened to me.

does not accept returns if you're not happy with product
In store purchase. If you aren't happy with your bed, don't expect to be able to return or exchange it because forty winks does not accept that - even you contact them the day after you first slept on it. I think this is a terrible policy for a store that sells beds because people spend like a third of their lives sleeping, so making a good decision and being happy with the bed is important. Unfortunately this store doesn't care about that, they only want the money and then it's goodbye, deal with it. Definitely won't buy anything from them aga...in. I'm thankful though for learning a valuable lesson from purchasing at this store: I will only ever buy from stores which do take returns and exchanges for change of mind from now on, or second hand. So thanks for helping me become a better consumer!

Hi, I was wondering has anyone had a problem when buying a mattress if they have had a strong chemical smell. I smelt it slightly when I first purchased it but since being pregnant it smells that strong I am unable to sleep in the room my partner has actually noticed it a little more recently. We Purchased this in late June this year. Its just really unbearable.
