Special mention to Rose who called to let me know my order arrived early(!!), helped me load my car and then kindly arranged delivery for the items I couldn’t collect. However, four weeks later I received an email advising an estimated delivery date of the 15th of October. Nup, I will not buy anything from Freedom Furniture again – JUNE 2024: Purchased lots of furniture, spent quite a bit. All delayed delivery of 8 weeks. from for a cancellation/refund of an order that still has not arrived 2 months later and 'may' be delivered in another 2 months, then again 'maybe not'.

Staff at Kotara NSW tell me they need to speak to their manager and will call back in 20mins. 2 hours later I call them. They leave me waiting and waiting and waiting. They then give misleading delivery info, tell me they can not give me a cancellation/refund and then tell me I need to make a request online for a refund/cancellation of an expected order. There is no phone number to call for this request.

They have my money. I want it back. I don't want to wait for any items to MAYBE be delivered one day in the vast future. Waiting, waiting for Freedom to respond to my request.

WON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. I MEAN IT.

Delivery more than six months and still hasn't happened, appalling customer service – Order sofa on October 27 and told 12-16 weeks. The latest delay notification email now says due to arrive in depot on April 30. I've received 8 delayed updates. would need to call into the store to speak to the manager about just getting the delivery fee waived. No policy at all for orders that go more than six months delay. No offer of a refund. No offer of inventory stock review so we could pick another item that was in stock.

I also bought it from there as I thought it was Australian made but more the fool me.

With the help of Paarul we found exactly what we needed when finishing our new property. I left on the first visit with a full quote and measurements to double check, and returned finalise the order when I knew everything would work in the property. I was unsure about choosing new bedroom rugs, cushions etc, and saw a sign at Freedom entrance suggesting a consult with the Interior Designer, Suzy. She was very helpful and made my decision so much easier. I'm very happy with the end result. Show reply

Kotara freedom had what we were looking for. Bought a lovely lounge. Took 7 weeks for the order. Much less time than our last order from nick scali. Lounge is so much nicer than nick scali Lounge. Much cheaper as well. Show details ·  1

Our sales lady was absolutely amazing! (Wishing I could remember her name!) She went well and truly above and beyond to match us with the perfect lounge for our new home. Her patience, thoughtful advice, helpful suggestions, and overall great style were exactly what we needed. The ladies at Kotara Freedom are possibly the most friendly and helpful staff I have encountered. I am disappointed I could not purchase from them due to a lead time that didn't suit, but due to their customer service I will definitely be purchasing more Freedom goodies in the future.
