calling it “normal wear and tear” for aniline leather—a type never disclosed at purchase and not noted on my invoice or any product details. My initial complaint was about peeling, not colour loss, yet their response referenced both.

Under Australian Consumer Law, products must be of acceptable quality and durability appropriate to their price and type. I do not think 2.5 years is a reasonable lifespan for a $4,319 premium lounge. I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and how the complaint was handled.

not shop here if you want the right to return for refund. Very money grabbing unfriendly store. Never again would I buy in Sunshine Coast Freedom. I shop Freedom extensively in Melbourne and never has an issue.

Did we say 6 weeks? communication from Freedom store staff, and a monthly call from me to ask where it is, with no answers. About 2 weeks ago I asked to speak to the store manager, who said that it could be in a factory in China, on a boat in the Pacific Ocean somewhere, in the port of Brisbane, or even in the warehouse. He had no clue. The only place he could categorically say it was not is in my house. Today he called me and left a message to explain (after I complained about their lack of communication) that it’s now due for delivery at the end of April, but that I should expect it to take 4 weeks to be processed through the port of Brisbane, and that realistically it would be June before it was delivered. So that will, by my maths, be 24 weeks, not 6. And that’s if it even arrives. So, I reckon that will be my last ever Freedom purchase. Shame. Shocking service, shocking communication, no problem solving by the store manager and now 1 less customer on the coast.

I have shopped Freedom for the last 20yrs, the service at Maroochydore sounds out, as soon as you start strolling around someone will come up to assist. They go out of their way to help you. The quality of Freedom items has always been excellent Show details ·  1

well-built, and fits the spaces exactly how I imagined. The design are clean and practical, and the fabrics feels durable but still looks great. It’s the kind of pieces that works whether you’re hosting or just crashing after a long day.

Delivery was on time, no issues. The team handled everything professionally and kept me in the loop, which I appreciated.

Which I joined I did return to the store the following week and went straight to see Lesley and I purchased the LONG ISLAND 3 seater chaise and because there was an amazing sale on I purchased the matching ottoman.
