After looking at heaps of different dining chairs from lots of stores I eventually decided on the Gomez chair. Fantastic build and comfortable too. Service in store was great. ALL OCCURRED IN 2024. PLEASE READ TO THE END as we don't want other's to experience our situation. Which is fighting for our rights, as consumers, against a large company.

On 12/4/24 I purchased a 3 X 1.5 sized seats with 1 Electric Recliner & Chaise, COST:- $4,627.00. Arrived at our home on 20/7/24. Less than 2 months of treating it with great care the FOAM on all 3 seats & back rests started to collapse. Freedom sent an Independent Assessor for our lounge suite on 2/10/24, the Assessor stated his report was submitted to freedom on the 3/10/24. Freedom hadn't contacting me by email nor phone in relation to what the Assessor's report stated. On 6/11/24 I contacted Consumer Protection Affairs (CPA) who informed me:- ""Under the "Australian Consumer Law" when buying products or services, state "Automatic Guarantees" that will work & do what one asked for"". CPA have agreed to represent me in this issue. CPA advised me to email Freedom, detailing all issues which have occurred since late September onwards with my lounge suite. I rang Freedom's Warranty Department on 17/10/24, unfortunately I was connected to an employee who has an shockingly dismissive manner, as they hadn't contacted me by this time. They stated that they were under no obligation to fix my lounge suite as it wasn't covered under their:- "What are Freedom's Warranties", which didn't correlate with the Independent Assessor's reaction while he was thoroughly checking our lounge suite. I rang Freedom again requesting a copy of the Assessor's report BUT they stated I would have to pay additional money to obtain this report. Ironically, on Freedom's OWN WEBSITE under the heading:-

"What are Freedom's Warranties?" STATE THE FOLLOWING:-

From the date of delivery, it clearly states there's a warranty of 2 year's for furniture (including upholstery furniture coverings, FOAM & recliner mechanisms). On 21/11/24 Freedom emailed me stating my claim had been escalated for an additional review. 28/11/24 Freedom rang & told me their final decision had not changed. They're still refusing any responsibility to fix our lounge suite. I, in particular have suffered severe lower & middle back pain from sitting on this lounge suite, I've had numerous Physiotherapist treatments & will continue to do so. By mid November we had to use 2 cushions, 1 for seats & 1 for backrests which slightly helped with comfort. As of today's date 14th December both my husband & I sit in our dinning chairs as they're comfortable & ease my back pain. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!

Products fell apart, still no refund – I purchased six vineyard chairs and they all fell apart within a few months. Paint came off and the screws would keep loosening so that my two year would would keep getting her hair and fingers stuck. Freedom were initially good to deal with. over 20 emails and phone calls later, they have taken my chairs and I still have no refund from them. Absolutely ridiculous that it would take this long and their system can’t figure out how to refund a customer. I will absolutely be reporting them to ACCC.

Bed base available, mattress on order then bed sold to someone else – On 16th November 2022 I ordered a bed base and mattress from Freedom Marion. mattress was in. Was advised that the mattress was in but the bed wasn't and wouldn't be until February at the earliest!!!! Apparently, according to the person I spoke to, the system allowed the bed to be sold. I noted that there are others here who have also had issues with orders. Not happy, especially as this impacts on our Xmas arrangements with guests now selling on the floor on air mattresses.

Needed to buy a couch that was specific to my needs and the staff were more than understanding...helped me through all aspects of the purchase and did their absolute best ...hard to find such great service these days...an absolute credit to their company...keep up the great work... Show details ·  1

Marion store had great staff Ashlee was very helpful and provided all information required to make the purchase very simple. This was a vast difference from one staff member at the Mile End store who was unhelpful and unprofessional. I went in store to buy new curtains for 3 x rooms. I asked the lady who greeted me entering the store for help and she obligingly came to the curtain section. She ran through all the range, asked me what I was after and helped me select what I needed. The whole process was made easy! She also went to the warehouse as not all stock was on the shelf. We were after specific curtains for our bedroom - we did go to the mile end store first but they didn’t have the colour we were after - the lovely team member called ahead to the Marion store who put aside what we were after.
