I recently visited the Chadstone store and the assistance I received from Fay at the counter was great. She answered all my questions, put things on hold for me to think about and was not pushy but advised me well. an internet connection [ just imaging who the service provider was....] + no change, no pre or post payments accepted etc. entirely avoidable stress all round. Product quality is at the higher end meeting our expectations.

Everyone always comments on the pieces that I got from Freedom - my Retreat sofa is bedlike to the point where I have to ask people to leave because they are so relaxed on my couch. The buffet is beautiful and so are the lamps. Very happy with my purchases! Show details ·  1

full set of goods, and after taking them 3 full days of discussion and negotiation, we finally reached a reasonable offer—until the owner decided to insert himself at the last minute. Not only did he override the agreed offer, but he came in just to offer a pathetic $700 discount.

And as if that wasn’t insulting enough, he delivered it with arrogance, aggression, and a complete lack of professionalism. He literally verbally abused me and told me to “take it or leave it” – as though he was doing me a favor.

This was not a negotiation – it was a power trip. I've never felt so disrespected as a customer in my life.

Do yourself a favor and steer far, far away from this place. There are far better businesses out there that know how to treat customers with the respect they deserve.

Would never buy from Freedom again. completely different status, stories and ETAs from the store, warehouse and head office on when my sofa is expected to arrive (from your order will all arrive by the end of the week (never happened) to it is now not expected to arrive until at least mid-April). I actually have no faith that Freedom actually knows where my order is at. The latest version is that only the 2 middle pieces of my modular sofa have arrived and the rest were not loaded on to the same container and hence, are not expected to arrive from China until mid-April (which is a 2+ month delay to the expected delivery date I was told when I made the purchase). I would have never purchased the sofa from Freedom if I knew it would take 5-6+ months to arrive. All Freedom Chadstone will offer as compensation is reimbursement of the delivery fee ($129). I will be lodging a claim with the ACCC and warning all other consumers of my experience. I should have read all the other negative reviews before I made the purchase.

God help you if you need support – Purchased our glass table Dec 2022, while unpacking noticed instantly the glass had marks, fractures and hard stains that would not come out. this would be 12-14 weeks (lead times are subject to change). Thought that was a joke, but the joke was on us. You can't call anyone and have to resort to their ticketing system. We have sent so many emails, provided all the information and pictures requested, waited and waited, been made promises, and 1.5 years later still stuck with the same sh!ty table and no resolution. To top it off as they have made us wait so long we are also unable to action anything through our bank. What a class act they pulled on us. Will never buy Freedom again!

Pramod and other staff members were very helpful finalizing my order when it was only 30 minutes to close the store. It has been a good experience shopping at this store especially when staff members take care of customers needs very quickly and efficiently. Show details ·  1

We bought a couch from Freedom. It was the apartment 2 couch. The couch is nice and arrived 3 weeks late. The free sprays we had included with the couch was not enough to cover sofa and cushions twice.. we had to buy more ourselves. as the spray otherwise got on the floor and we have new floorboards. Freedom should consider spraying at the factory before sending to customers.

Bought four new "Saddle" (tan colour) bar stools and a rug (which was on sale - ex floor stock) and we love them. Stools were easy and quick to assemble and rug was in good condition, despite being ex floor stock. Chaps that brought them from the warehouse to our car and helped us load were very efficient, professional and friendly. Show details ·  1

Freedom Chadstone has been my go to store for at least in the last 5 years; the staff are always helpful. The product quality and design usually are better than average; even better when you score one of their many Sales. lots of different options and was very patient as it can be hard to decide. She went out of her way to look for as many options for us as possible. There was never any pressure. and all questions were answered clearly and with knowledge. The quality of the furniture was very good and lots of choices. All options were clearly explained and once the order placed everything was double checked to make sure it was all correct. Very clear explanations about the process and the order. If you get assistance from Miranda it will be a pleasure to visit Freedom at this store.

Left our baby a poisonous item & claim on warranty got ignored – We purchased a sofa from them full price. They delivered and left us a heavily bleached sofa. baby’s health as bleach is poisonous to babies. We have no where to relocate the sofa given its size. We claimed warranty and were told would be contacted within 3-4 business days. It is been almost 2 weeks, we are still totally ignored. Comment below shows everyone that we got contacted but in reality, nothing happened.

Never again. Promised goods within 3 - 4 months - took 7-9 months – After having the interior designer suggest recommendations for our house ( she was great), we were told our goods would arrive between 4-12 weeks. the wrong colour and size: I will never purchase from Freedom again. I understand covid / supply chain delays - but they were not transparent with the reality of delays, I had to constantly ring to understand where my order was at and for the price, I would have gone elsewhere. I wish I had known upfront to expect 10 months. I have no problems telling people to avoid freedom. I will no longer purchase from them again. Our order was in excess of $10k. Never again.

Terrible customer services! – We have waited over 5 months for our daughters bed. The Preston freedom told us if we went into the chadstone store we could get there demo bed we were after that has been sitting there for ages!
