This behaviour is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer should ever be treated this way simply for declining a quote. Based on this experience alone, I would never recommend this business to anyone. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine how poor the actual service would be.

Would not recommend at all – My couches were left wet my the cleaner, had to leave the cushions in the sun to dry, did not come with with all his equipment. Ask to use my towels to clean his mess. Spent most of his time on the phone. I had to get another professional cleaner. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

$180-$200 which I thought was abit odd as they hadn’t asked for photos of the couch nor seen how big the couch actually is or the state of it. The next day (Thursday) at 11:37am the guy doing the job called on his mobile to say he was running late which was fine but couldn’t advise me of an ETA so I told him anytime after 3pm was ok. I called him at 3:20pm as I hadn’t heard back and no answer, I called twice again at 4:15pm & no still no answer. He finally returned my call and said he wouldn’t have time for the job that day but would come Friday morning at 10am. Again, 10am came round and after multiple phone calls going unanswered to the guy that was suppose to do the job my husband called back the operator and the operator had advised us that ‘we’ had cancelled the job after a whole lot of back and forth with the operator as to what actually happened my husband ended up hanging up on the operator and now I’m here writing up this review absolutely beside myself at the management of this company!! Lost 2 whole days that I could have used to hire someone else however grateful he didn’t turn up for the job after all the reviews I’ve read through today about how bad of a service they offer anyway!!! My furniture looks new after cleaning! – Fresh Upholstery Cleaning did a great job for me! I was impressed by their professionalism, efficiency, and thoroughness. My furniture looks new after cleaning! Their prices are also very reasonable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality upholstery cleaning services.

Do not use this company – The operator arrived late without notice and was on his phone texting while cleaning the lounge. The lounge was still dirty at the end, very wet and the stain/odour not removed. It was wet for 3 days and started to smell mouldy. I called to ask for further assistance and they told me they would call back in 2 days. I never heard from them again even after calling a second time.

Never use this – Booked for Rug and lounge cleaning service, they left the rug with all the dirt in it, even i mentioned its not clean, they didn't give a second round on it. Lounge is cleaned without even moving that an inch and finished without cleaning backside and charge extra than quoted

Fantastic customer service – We called them for upholstery cleaning session and they sent us a team composed only of two young guys. They worked hard and did a great job. My husband was impressed by their performance and punctuality. Thank you guys.

Very ordinary – The cleaner arrived during a lockdown. I queried whether he should be here but he assured me it was legit. Did very ordinary job on fabric couch. Have stains now where I didn’t before! Do not touch these guys. Added on GST to prices quoted. Dodgy!

because my couch was not fabric...My couch is indeed fabric, the 2 seats he "cleaned" I could have done a better job myself, the backside of those two seats weren't touched and the smell was back once his spray had dried. My mattress did come up a bit cleaner, but he got water all over my brand new carpet. We had to get another company in to clean his water mess up out of our carpet before it was ruined. This company also cleaned the entire couch and did get the smell out successfully and they didn't need to do it manually.

No invoice given and the whole booking process was confusing.

Run a mile!! Quote $150 for job but charged $300 – Did a okay job cleaning. However, we were only quoted $150 for 5 seats and was charged $300, pretty much $50 per seat. Also only did one side of the seat. The operator from Mark's maintaince said they can't do anything as its the office who charges these pricing. Would not recommend at all!!

Disgusting customer service – This company agreed one price and charged a different more expensive price. When chasing up their customer service was deplorable and never actually resolved my issue. I was told management would get back to me but they never did and I had to continually chase them. Would never re use or recommend them at all.

Terrible job! – Terrible half job done. Didn't move the back couch cushions so that there is stripe along the cushion where it clearly wasn't cleaned. Also only cleaned one side of the back cushions........terrible customer service when I complained about the job.

Once he eventually left the property and then sat outside the front fence for another 10 mins before leaving . The worse bit is , we pay our bills once we have an invoice and the job is completed . can’t give me an invoice unless I pay him first. I said I will be paying the amount but I need an invoice as we require it for the business. He kept disagreeing with me. I told him to call his manager. His manager then called me and told me the same thing the cleaner did, that I won’t get an invoice unless I pay for the service. I told him that’s not right. He then told me I had two options. I either pay the amount now or he will get the cleaner to go and spill all the water from the cleaning machine all over my lounge. I was disgusted in his response. No manager should be speaking to a customer like this. My husband then called him to sort it out and the manager said the same thing to my husband except he left it in a voicemail so we have proof of this threat. The cleaner continued to sit at my house for 20 minutes waiting in his car. He then drove off and sat outside my property for 30 minutes. I was freaked out about what their intentions were next. The manager has been calling my husband all day and threatening him with court and that he is going to get a lot more out of us now then $160. I run a business from home and we always pay our bills at the end of the day if due.

cleaning the 2x couches, saying the back cushion, bum cushion and seat of the couch had to be charged separately...... He also kept walking in and out the door and letting it slam rather than closing it gently and now my flyscreen will not close. It's broken. Their response to this "there is no way we could have broken it"...

I have escalated this to Fresh Upholstery Cleaning and Mark Maintenance and their e-mail responses are laughable, they have just listed dot points arguing everything i have addressed with them with no apology or understanding whatsoever. I have escalated this to consumer affairs and am letting them deal with it on my behalf because these companies don't care at all, i'm a young female who was home alone and was worried about what would happen if i refused to pay anything, however they have e-mailed me telling me i didn't feel threatened at all... ??

I am hopeful consumer affairs will sort this out for me, they cannot get away with doing this to people and ripping people off hundreds/thousands of dollars, we're all struggling this year and this has put me in a really bad position.

Frauds and Scammers – Quoted $40 a seat for a 3 seat lounge. When they completed the job the gave an invoice for $90/seat + GST for a 7 seat lounge. They're scammers. Class action suite is needed.

Then when I tried to pay by card they wanted to record my card details! Dodgy as! Ended up paying them cash.

SCAMMERS DO NOT TRUST – Scammers. Do not trust this business. Any quote you get from marks maintenance delete it and save yourself from being scammed. They’re con artists and do nothing but steal your money

Excellent Staff – I am so thankful for Harry! He has renewed life back to my sectional. We are a very busy household and our couch gets quite a bit of use between animals and kids. He made my couch look brand new again. Very through and professional. We will defiantly use him again as well as refer him to our friends and family

Did a good job on two wing armchairs – I was quoted $120 in total to steam clean two armchairs. Protection cost another $20 each and add GST. A total of $176. The chairs were old but came up well and smelled nice and fresh afterwards thanks to the cleaning product used. There were no puddles and the man who did it was thorough.

investigating, is has come to our attention that this company has a history of this kind of scamming, and outrageous pricing. When we called to dispute this with Fresh Upholstery Cleaning, they did not want a bar of it, and became uncontactable!

speak with the person than quoted me, but he wouldn't give me the number, instead he got them to call me. The man on the phone was rude, pushy and a long story short, blamed the person who quoted me, dropped the price twice, and when i said no, I would now like to cancel - totally unprofessional - he said I would have to pay a call out fee!!!

After refusing this, he hung up on me and then the guy who was there said I had to pay him the call out fee, are these people serious or is this their scam?

I told him to bugger off and he ended up leaving only when my partner come out and told him to leave. It was as if he saw that I was a female on my own and tried to intimidate me.. Sorry buddy, I grew up with 2 brothers, I wasn't born yesterday.

I cant attest to their work, but make sure you get a written quote off these guys or they will try to rip you off.

verbally abused to pay all upfront or they would not leave my house. The day a after the couch was worse, the smell HORRID and I was invoiced extra on top after he left. I messaged the company head today and I was told to not make false claims and to take it to the police! Mind you I was the only one home at the time and pregnant.
