Hi Amy, this company does not return bond money at all. It's quite a scam actually. Read through the reviews and you can see it's all similar nightmare stories. I've hired from them way back and they haven't refunded my money back. That was 4 months ago. We had to escalate it to fair trading. I'm sorry for your experience.

Lol Taylor. You did not even show up during the tribunal hearing, twice! Had we not went to fair trading, we wouldn't be able to get our money back. By the way, you guys totally made up fake stories about us as customers to scare us out of the tribunal process. Good thing we have the evidence. Your company is totally shady man.

That isn't true, we have been completely honest, however you cannot use a real name nor is any commciations linked from your name to anything within our ticket system, so we don't know who you are. We have completed 1000's and 1000's of bookings, and only a small amount of bonds are kept for reasons which we will inform the customers. If items are brought back damaged or dirty and if that takes us extra time the customer will be charged for that. 99.99% of customers do the right thing by us, it's only a small amount that will want to take advantage of us, and we know this is part of business, you can Google and find reviews on any business good & bad, it's all part of it.

This company is totally dodgy and currently not even answering phone calls. I havent received my bond back and my castle arrived 2 hrs late. If I were you I would quickly organize another company and cut your losses. I have made a complaint to department of fair trading.

I made a compaint to Fair Trading too but they had every excuse under the sun so no result and FT are pretty much a toothless tiger. Hope you have better luck! Jessica cut your losses, contact your banking institution and proactively stop the hire company from taking any more money from you - because they will sneak it out!

They are located in [Suburb Removed]. Hubby going out there to chat to them as two weeks on we don't have a refund of bond or item we ordered but was not delivered. We have fair trading onto it thankfully.

Hi guys, I am one of the customers that were scammed by funtime party hire. Long story short, we escalated it to fair trading. We had a scheduled tribunal hearing but funtime did not show up. 2nd hearing and they did not show up again. In the end, tribunal had to officially send an instruction to funtime to refund the money or else there will be legal consequences.

File your complaints and stand against this scam of a company.

They are great to deal with, we just completed our 3rd hire with them over the weekend the staffs are wonderful and friendly and have had no issues with them.

Two weeks on still awaiting refund of my bond and item we hired they could not provide. Advertised one thing but provided another. Kept on hold to speak to manager and then hung up on 4 times. Read the reviews please.

Items delivered 1.5 and 3 hours post agreed time. One item was broken. One wasn't even what was advertised on the website Service is extremely poor.

Agree with Tyson and Victor. Two weeks on still waiting on my refund of my bond and item hired but not delivered. They take your call rudely, put you on hold and then hang up hoping you will give up. Fair Trade had to intervene for us. Formal complaint raised they have received a few complaints in the last two weeks with this company.

We’ve been waiting for our bond back since February! These people canceled our jukebox the night before our party which completely ruined our party and then refused to return our bond! Karma works in mysterious ways. I know my family is happy and healthy I’d hate to see how your life is turning out! Go elsewhere! The only good reviews are clearly fake! As these morons only reply to the “good reviews” Seems suss! If you’re a reputable company you would have a review section on Facebook and you would reply to all of your negative reviews it would take you quite a while to get back to all the negative reviews though lol

I think if you are a company or corporate you should be fine. If you are the average mum or dad, just expect to wait for the deposit refund. I'd hate to hear about those that do not read the refund process and expect to obtain a refund automatically like most companies do.

Don’t use this company they will rip you off and guaranteed they will lie about it and say it was you not them I’m the latest victim and I want to got to the media let Australia know what this company is doing I believe a group action will be more effective than reviews that obviously is not enough to deter people although there are lots of bad reviews more than good reviews come on people let’s put this business OUT OF BUSINESS we ain’t got money to just throw away especially nowadays!!
