Poor customer service – I returned a faulty baby monitor. Communication from baby city was non existent without continuous chasing. Almost a month later I have no feedback on when a replacement will be shipped. Extremely dissatisfied Buyers beware

Incredible Customer Service – We purchased a baby monitor online through Gadget City. After receiving it, the microphone on the camera did not work. After contacting them by email, they quickly sent through a return label to send through the non working camera and replaced the camera all in under a week! Super impressed with the service and the ease. Not their fault the product wasn’t working and were so easy to deal with to get a replacement. Thank you so much guys!!

Great online store – I have bought several UHF CB radios from Gadget City over the years (for different cars) and never had any problems They are a great company to deal with, and their prices are always pretty decent. I definitely recommend Gadget City.

So Impressed – Excellent service and price. Ordered a rechargeable battery for my Telstra Handsfree phone on Sunday, and received it on Wednesday. It cost me $7.88 with free delivery, compared to the $29 + postage I paid to a rival company for a battery that didn't fit the phone. Deceptive Company - shop somewhere else – Ordered a battery for my drone on 22 March. Aus Post tracking number provided. Such rude customer service – Really rude reaction from staff member when contacted to ask to cancel an online order - his reaction was completely unnecessary. Started calling me a derogitory name. "karen" thinking it would insult me, instead it made us laugh so much. Wouldn't shop here again but thanks for the laugh James. My teenage daughter and I enjoyed the Monday morning entertainment.

Update: One of the cameras failed and I wrote to Gadget City with them asking me to send unit for Technician inspection. The unit was deemed faulty with a new one sent to me with the guys at Gadget City being polite and helpful. Again, great service. A hint to knockers; email your issues first and in a nice manner and you will be looked after professionally.

0.5 to 1mm difference in length. Prepared my request for a return label via Paypal, and before I had completed this, but after preparing the email to GC, I had a call from 'James' at Gadget City. He determined that the battery I had ordered was actually a small milliamperage bigger: should probably have been ok but obviously wasn't. A refund was immediately initiated, and the provided battery could be 'ditched' as uneconimical to send back. I was unable to asses the quality of the product; my review comments are about the service provided by Gadget City, and I have to accept a measure of responsibility by not noting carefully enough the very small milliamperage difference. Thank you to Gadget City and James, whose manner was pleasant, understanding, informative and helpful.

into scanning receivers and their support through after sales service is fabulous. Check out their Uniden UBCD536PT and USDS100 scanners OR any other product you're into. Prices are highly competitive, but great after sales service is what I look for in any seller.

I complained about this behaviour to ACCC and they asked me to raise the complaint to consumer protection if there is no satisfactory outcome from them. I am happy to provide all the email communication that I had with this online store-if anyone wants proof. I would rather respect an overseas online store in this regards! At least I should have bought the same product from the same online from eBay my rights would have protected by eBay and PayPal! Very poor service – Never received item that was paid for. Instead of simply sending a replacement item, I got the third degree on whether or not my address was correct. I have received hundreds of items bought online sent to the same address. I just don't understand why this retailer was not interested in a fast and satisfactory result. Then, asking the same question twice, indicating he was not reading my emails properly. I will go elsewhere in future.

One of the worst online sellers I've communicated with – Wrong item sent. Ordered a 1350mAh battery, received a 650. Seller was rude and pushy in emails. Repeatedly claimed the manufacturer\distributor was at fault. A few phone calls to said company (head office) clearly shows they were not at fault. Gadgetcity owner then actually calls me on my mobile and behaves immaturely. Tries to be aggressive and intimidating, then when I don't do as he says, starts hurling abuse at me. Also thinks he knows how AusPost works more than they do.

In further emails he continues to make claims that simply don't match what the folks at the battery company or AusPost state. I get my refund back through PayPal and am about to send him his battery back at my own expense, as I simply don't want anything to do with this immature and disrespectful person.

Update. Battery was sent back to him. He never responded.
