Subject: Aluminium Outdoor shower purchased from Aldi on 11 January 2022. To whom it may concern, I assembled the outdoor shower as per your assembly instructions however when I turned the water on the shower head came off with the 5 separate shower head components landing on the ground. As a result I am having difficulty reassembling this section as there are no detailed instructions available for the separate components of the shower head. Can you advise what part goes where? Many thanks Mary
Sorry Mary. I purchased one a few years ago and can't remember what parts go where as I sold the house 3 years ago. Cheers Laurie
Thanks Lamar....not sure where to go from here!
Recently, a severe storm blew my shower assembly over and damaged the shower head rose. It was so badly damaged that it cannot be repaired. Where can I get a new shower head from? The Shower heads available from Bunnings and places like BCF come with different threads-I assume Aldi gear has BSW threads while other Outlets Use the cheaper China/Japan system. How does the cover for the wicker outdoor set go on model sb1234
Hi Christine I'm not sure what you actually meam by a cover Any more information you can give me?
Aluminium outdoor shower- is there a you tube video that shows how to assemble it?
Aldi obviously have no quality control section to test out their goods before foisting them onto the public. The idea of this shower is great except as others have reported the hose connector is worse than useless. Hose blows off as soon as water supply is introduced. The shower stainless steel tubing will not line up with the front of the shower unit when tightened. Only alternative is to loosen the pipe to the correct position which then allows water to gush out of the connection. These problems are ridiculously easy to correct by the manufacturers and until they are, Aldi have no right to put them on sale. Not happy!!!
The brass fittings on the Aldi product are 15 mm . Most Aussie fittings are 20 or 25 mm . I bought a brass 15 mm to 20 mm ( both male) converter , I took off the plastic hose connector and screwed the 15 mm end into the Aldi tap connector and then bought a 20 mm hose connector and screwed that into the 20 mm . Hose now connects perfectly with no blowing off and no leaks . I got the 15-20mm male converter from Bunnings plumbing section and the 20mm to hose connector from the gardening section. A few extra bucks but problem solved. Will take a photo and post later.
Hi Ron. I wandered around the hose connector section of Bunnings on Saturday without success. I wasn't going to let the problem beat me so I trecked back to Bunnings on Sunday and also finished up in the plumbing dept. One of the assistants put me on the right track and suggested your solution. The exercise cost me $9.99 but I've now got a fully funcioning shower that works. The point of course must remain that Aldi and the supplier failed to ensure that the unit was suited to our size fittings. Anyway, all is well that ends well.
I cant get the outdoor shower fiting to fit to a hose connecter. Its a different size, so Hose wont/cant connect And water just comes spurting out of hose and pops off? Any suggestions????
I have used a normal everyday hose fitting so Im guessing that your fitting from the hose is not clipping onto the shower properly. If you have a clip on fitting at your tap I would try swapping them over. I have had similar problems with other ( different) fittings. Hope this works for you. Cheers Laurie
My hose connector kept popping off brought 5 different connectors but all just came off with water pressure. At the actual connection point....even brass one would not hold on to the shower connection
Just now got back to another lady with the same problem so I now suggest that you return it . Sorry I cant be more helpful Cheers Laurie
Attaching the soap holder is a nightmare, the wicker is too wide and the 20 mm bolts arent long enough which caused damage to the timber sides, it’s basically a piece of junk
Hi. It’s a pity that you are having problems with this as it worked out pretty well for me. The best suggestion from me is to take it back to any Aldi anywhere and they will refund you with no questions asked. I have had a couple of small issues with a couple of things over the years and they are fabulous and easy to deal with
We recently bought this shower. Where the two vertical parts join, ours is quite wobbly and moves. Just wondering if this is just how they are?
Hi.Mine is the same.
Put a strap on the back to secure the two halves .
Just wondering if the Gardenline(Aldi) outdoor shower is still available to purchase?
Hi Judy. I have not seen them in Aldi since buying mine so can only suggest you try Aldi themselves. Best of luck. Cheers Lamar
Hi Judy, Aldi will have them on sale again this Saturday (1/12), good luck!
