very patient and helpful and I got two perfectly fitting windows. Comparing aluminium windows made in Australia with steel windows made in China, or by an Australian company making them in China, the former wins decidedly.

This is our third order with Gem. The service is second to none - Jo is amazing. She is efficient, knowledgeable and thorough. She responds to questions and requests almost immediately and kept us updated throughout the process. Delivery of our windows was quicker than they predicted (all three times). Removed] to [Name Removed], and now to Vlad, who has been incredibly difficult. He ignores my calls and his email responses are consistently curt and unprofessional. It feels like our project has been completely forgotten.

I do want to mention that the factory manager, [Name Removed], was genuinely helpful and tried to assist. Unfortunately, one good employee can't make up for a nine-month delay and a total breakdown in customer service from the rest of the team.

A really bad experience. They are rude and do not take responsibly for their errors. I ordered a second set of windows for a job in a colour (of the first order) and they put the wrong colour on the invoice. about the colour - they again gave me the wrong colour. It was a stock window so could easily be resold but they refused to swap it. Very inflexible.

RUN......Don't not purchase their 1200 double hung windows – I purchase 50k worth of windows and doors are fine but all the double hung windows I have had to have them come out to fix them. This has been going on for 3 years! I have 8 double hung windows worth about 14k faulty Not fir for purpose. They offer me 3k to sign and shut up 1 window cost me that! Terrible experience !!!! – I could give zero stars if I could. Poor workmanship, the order was a nightmare, broken glass, sizes were not exact, and some window frames were damaged. They will not do any refunds or fix the issue. They will blame it on you instead. It was a horrific experience , I would not order anything from this window company.

Good doors if you are an experienced DIY person – Triple slider doors were delivered to my house in good condition, square and smooth running tracks. Good work.

GEM are terrible !! – Quick quotes. Windows regularly made incorrect sizing and not a care from the whole team at GEM. 3 months in and still trying to get windows rectified. I would not recommend !!! Show details

Excellent product – Purchased four double hung aluminium windows from Gem to replace 1970´s sliding windows that were dated. Due to existing new shutters on the inside of the old windows had to use existing reveals and architraves so I had to make sure my window measurements were precise. reveals etc went off without a hitch. One had a broken locking latch though. Contacted Gem, not a problem, new latch and key lock forwarded to me in no time, at no cost. Gem windows pricing is very competitive and I would have hesitation in using them again. Highly recommended.

Poor manufacturing, poor quality – Sliding door’s corners were not 90* and did not slide 100% into the frame. When reported, we received a very rude and bad attitude. A year later and the slightest wipe with the cloth takes the paint off the bottom of the frame. Show details
