I have a gx12025i that my brother fiddled with. Where in Melbourne can I take it to have it repaired/servuced?

Hi, I use the GX12025i as a back up for the solar system. It’s in an inconvenient spot noisewise and I’d like to build it a soundproof shed. My question is: when in use it’s plugged into the solar system via a specialised plug outlet with a 2m lead. Is it possible to purchase the same lead (power cable) but much longer? And will it charge as efficiently? Thanks, Brigid

Bridget In my opinion, the length of the lead should not be an issue and it should still charge the same as the 2m lead.

Is anyone able to advise whether the alternator on the GenPower GX12025i Generator is brushed or brushless?

Thanks Tilbacroc. Already been there and scoured the information they have on this genset. Unfortunately it doesn't specify. I was hoping someone who had purchased one had been able to clarify and let me know, before I commit to purchasing.
