Although there is a bit of delay in receiving permits ( long lockdown in Melbourne, Christmas, and new year breaks didn't help) Muneesh and his team have been absolute professionals with their communication and updates. I would like to take this opportunity to also thank Stephanie Tsiaras | Colour Consultant for her innovative ideas and color combinations and Claudia Viola | Client Liaison Officer for her timely communiation at every stage. P.S The only thing which they can improve is in the plan drawings stage where an appointment with the architect/ plan drawings team would save at 2 weeks time, especially in the case of customized plans.

house and team Grandeur made it possible. Selection process was very thorough, and special thanks to Ms Sonia (Building and Permit officer) for her support, patience and can do attitude. Given the complexity of the project, she arranged all the approval in couple of months which was minimum 4 to 5 months process. During the construction we were so lucky to have Aman (site supervisors). He was so thorough and had attention to detail like perfectionist. He accommodated us for every last minute upgrades and changes. We never felt pressured or lacking communication during the build, and had a great relationship with our Site Supervisor/Coordinator who was always open to our questions/queries. Alongside this, we are extremely impressed with the quality and finish of our home. Knowing many other people who have also built brand new, we are very happy with our level of finish and build compared to others. Few compliments with names Mr Gurpreet Sidhu : Most honest and transparent sales experience, every suggestion from him we took as a recommendation.

Mr Damian Kota (Construction Manger) makes Grandeur different from other builders. Symbol of commitment and quality output.

Ms Sonia (Building and Permit officer) : Patience and can do attitude. She knows her job very well.

Mr Aman ( Site supervisor) : Perfectionist.

don't even have a completed frame. It is now growing mould as ground floor has been up since October 2023 and defects have not been fixed. Little work happens on site. Trades coming once or twice in a week and then disappear for weeks on end. Their website shows great reviews conveniently but please read the honest ones that are on product review website before you choose them as your builder. Stay away if you are planning on building your dream home as it will become a nightmare with this builder!

Dodgy builder – Horrible builder . Such a shame on them, rather working on their mistakes and make things improved they have removed their business from Google since they have only 1 started reviews. Beware: Shoddy Workmanship and Dodgy Practices – Grandeur homes is tatti home builder company. 2 years into the contract and still nowhere close to finishing my home. They don't have any work ethics and don't pay their trades, poor workmanship. Management will send invoices for incomplete work and once you pay they will not return to site for months. They were elusive, unresponsive, and conveniently "forgot" about crucial details that were discussed during the initial consultation. It felt like they were intentionally trying to confuse and mislead me at every turn.

A big NO! – 10 months and no work at all apart from Drawings. Rude owners - Wont bother to listen to clients at all. Asked them to soil test, they took 2 months to respond. 9 months since permit and still no frame – I gave one star as there was no option to give zero. We first sat with grandeur in May of 2022. the last 5 weeks of 2023 and no one ever went to site. If you call the office to speak to anyone they will dodge your calls and make the poor receptionists answer the hard questions. I sent the director an email and she won’t even reply. According to our contract the build must be finished in June this year but we can’t see that happening. I have witnessed numerous instances of unprofessional behavior, such as wrong plans, lack of transparency, and a general indifference towards addressing customer concerns. The management of the grandeur home has been nothing short of abysmal. Delays in construction have been frequent and unreasonably long. These prolonged delays not only inconvenienced us but also had a significant financial impact. What is even more disheartening is the way in which your management often attempts to shift the blame onto the customer when these issues arise, instead of taking responsibility for rectifying them. Communication has been a significant issue throughout this project. Emails and phone calls frequently went unanswered or received delayed responses, if any at all. Furthermore, it appears that grandeur home has shown a complete lack of empathy for the impact of these delays and issues on our families. The stress, inconvenience, and financial strain that my family and I have endured during this project have been utterly disregarded by grandeur home team. In conclusion, my experience with grandeur home over the past 3.5 years has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. The unprofessionalism, poor management, lengthy delays, substandard work, and lack of customer focus have left a lasting negative impression. Then they took so long to start our construction and when it starts ;again builder created so much confusion and mistakes while making things inside. We met so many times to our site supervisor and also contacted a lot through calls ,emails or texts so sort out everything. But still we ended up having a lots of reimbursement and refund for that. Very poor management and bad communication. No one even clear ur doubts. Its over 2 years now since our single storey construction starts but after issuing a occupancy certificate ,still they have not handed over keys to us. They still left with plenty of work inside and nobody even giving us a time to handover the keys. I must say there is no responsible person in this company who can actually listen and understand their clients. They are just money minded, will accept everything when u start with them but after that will never respond ur calls ,emails or msgs. on drawings, grandeur is dragging the process like anything, deliberately making mistakes which can give them few more weeks to drag it further. I don’t think these guys will be on site at least for 1 year from contract sign and another 1.5 year for build. Made big mistake signing for them.

for weeks. I have been advised that all council and developer requirements have looked after but they won't. The answer I receive is ''we build lots of homes, things get easily missed''. I have to waste my time going back and fourth with developer to fix it. Absolute waste of money. Don't waste your time and money on this builder as I have been suffering a lot.

great cost saving alternatives. He was very patient throughout our million questions and changes to the plan and the initial designs to the plan. We are currently in the colour selection and design approval phase but we are expecting smooth sailing from here. I will keep updating this post with updates to our home building journey which I’m pretty sure will be as good as an experience we’ve had during the sales process.

Evelina made the color, flooring and cosmetic choices easy and Daniel oversaw a smooth build. Daniel kept me well informed of progress and next steps so I was completely comfortable in what was happening. The end result is a beautifully built, distinctive home that I have been able to put my own style and touches on. I’m so happy with the finished product! The attention to detail and finish is excellent!

If you want a quality build, easy to deal with and flexible team, I’d highly recommend Grandeur Homes to build.

no sense of responsibility shown by the Sales consultant to revert timely on any of the things. There were communication gaps between sales and draftee which we had to bridge by contacting both separately. Sales consultant would not care to take our calls and he would revert when it was convenient for him. He would tell us that he will call later that day but would not communicate for days and weeks some times. We still continued thinking that we will have to start with another builder from scratch. Finally, everything got fixed by may end and we did not get the contract till June end. When the contract came, it was just a basic template with the wrong project cost on it and nothing else like inclusions and plans etc. At this point, we were asked to finalize exterior colors etc. first and then the updated contract will be provided. After waiting for a week for the sales consultant to let us know when we can visit their showroom, we decided to terminate the process as there was no communication at all. They have shown complete disregard towards our time and patience. Even when we informed them via email that we do not wish to proceed, there was no acknowledgement etc. We are not blaming this on the whole organization. It could probably be the sales consultant we got. But we were not provided with even an escalation point to communicate our concerns. Now after 7-8 months, we are starting the process again with another builder and this has led to losses for us in terms of time and money. We have ended up losing the initial deposit of $4500 too. Please perform your due diligence before engaging with Grandeur homes.

Plenty of inclusions and wonderful selection options had this become very exciting. During the build process, we had the opportunity to work with Peter Hoogwerf as our supervisor and all our issues and concerns were listened to and dealt with swiftly and thoroughly throughout what has been a quality build. Having watched other houses go up in our estate, there is none that is able to match the workmanship across all trades on our build.
