Awful customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service.
I made a small mistake logging in to Internet Banking and because I am disabled I called using NRS and they refused to help over the phone. "O" literally hung up on me when I asked if I could send an ID over the Internet (I would have sent it from the email address they have), so I will probably have the Internet cut off because I don't know how much money I have (I wanted to transfer money to it, but now I can't access it) and will have to go without food too (which I buy online) because they want to "see"...
Did Not Help During Covid-19
I have been with this bank for over 10 years and have a home loan with them.
I phoned them twice for help during this covid-19 problem, they where suppose
to reduce my loan to interest only for 3 months during these terrible times to help me,
2 months later and still nothing.
There final excuse was sorry this one fell through the cracks,
Finally i gave up and told them don't bother with any help.
I will never get another loan from the greater bank in the future,
I would not recommend them to anyone, if i could give them 0 stars i would.
Be aware of these dodgy lies and practices you will get from the Greater Bank.
I’ve had a Greater Bank Life Saver for a bit over a year now never had any dramas and been very happy with the account. I decided to move my savings away from Greater in a bit to consolidate my finances and do a clean up for the new year. When I joined I had to deposit $1 to open the account in which I would be able to receive that back once I left/closed down the account. I’m really shocked at Greater Bank... I asked to close my account and have the $1 refunded and was told I would have to pay a $2.50 transaction fee to have that done or alter...natively I could donate the $1 to charity. I don’t mind donating to charity but I feel like this is very shady behaviour. I am absolutely disgusted in Greater Bank and see they still haven’t actioned my request of closing the account but the $1 has magically been transferred out of the account to what I’m assuming to be one of their accounts. Wouldn’t recommend this Bank.
Was good once, now you're nobody
I have been a customer of Greater Bank on and off for a few years. To be honest I love their mobile banking. But their customer service has gone downhill and is terrible. They don't take into consideration your personal circumstances, let alone care. Not to mention a bad attitude, Stay away, trust me.
