Grillo Climber 10 Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedDoes anyone have any hints for re alining one of the front wheels on a Grillo AWD 27. From countless youtube vid it is a common issue after time and easier to correct on most sit on mowers.....less so with a diff lock on front. Any help would be appreciated.
Ciao Group, ho intenzione di acquistare un Grilllo 10 e 27 per il taglio professionale. Sono interessato a sapere come si è comportata la macchina dopo alcuni anni di utilizzo, grazie per le risposte
So this lawn mower is no good for the basic lawn (how lower will it cut)
It is no good for a basic lawn, it is fitted with a "slasher style cutting deck" which is about half as high as lawn mowing deck. It is fantastic for cutting dense brush on flat and steep slopes. A John Deere would do a much, much better job on your lawns. The manual says 35mm is the lowest cut.
I bought the same machine about 6 months ago -- great machine, performs as you've described (but agree that side-view mirrors are needed!) One question: how many turns do you turn your fuel cap? I have mine quite tight, in order to see the fuel gauge right-side-up when I twist my neck to look at it when I'm riding. The problem though is that fuel dribbles out (very slowly), out the exposed plastic threads and down the outside of the plastic fuel tank when I'm riding -- obviously a safety hazard. Have you witnessed this, and if so, what have you done about it? Mike NSW
I have the same problem with the fuel tank, fuel dribbles down the side when it’s nearly full and the ground is uneven. Upon closer inspection I noticed that one of the threads on the fuel tank is damaged. I will try to claim this on the guarantee. Other than this it’s a fantastic machine and I use it professionally in France.
Yes the fuel tank cap thread leaks and is stiff. I ended up applying some lubes to the threads and settled with powdered graphite.
