The quality of our home is honestly amazing and something that stood out to us throughout the whole build. Every stage was completed to such a high standard and you can really see the care and attention to detail that went into the build.

A huge shoutout as well to our site supervisor, who was absolutely incredible throughout the build. He was so switched on, organised, proactive, and always on top of everything happening on site. Nothing ever felt forgotten or delayed unnecessarily, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure things were done properly and efficiently. Having someone so reliable overseeing the build made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.

We were also blown away by how quickly our home came together without compromising on quality. Our slab went down in August 2025 and we received key handover in May 2026!! Watching everything progress so quickly and consistently was honestly exciting, and Home Group made the entire journey feel seamless from start to finish.

Just finished completing our second build with Homegroup. They were very honest upfront regarding admin and build timeframes so were fully aware from the start how long the process was going to take. since our first build and found the options slightly limited but we did have the option to source alternative carpets directly via carpet call and tiling from Crosby's

We progressed into construction stage (7 month completion) with slab down in September, given the time of year we were hit with a number of public holidays and shutdowns (Xmas/NY) and officially got key handover in April.

Our supervisor jordan & liaisons (Emily/Kate) acted promptly with any queries we had during the build. During this stage we did find the portal updates reduced but we lived locally so was able to see what progression was made.

All in all happy with the our home and would choose homegroup again.

Throughout the build, communication was consistent and reassuring. I was kept informed at every stage, and I always felt included in the process. It made such a difference knowing I could trust them—not just to build a house, but to create a home that truly worked for us.

When it came to the final result, I was honestly blown away. Everything was finished to such a high standard, and you could see the care that had gone into every detail. But more than that, they made sure it was perfect for my son. A place where he feels safe, supported, and comfortable—and where I feel proud and at peace knowing I’ve given him that environment.

Constructing our two-storey house was an exciting experience, and we really enjoyed watching each stage come together—from the foundation and framework to the roofing and final interior finishes. The construction progressed well, and the team maintained good communication throughout the entire building period.

We were also very happy with the quality of the materials and finishes used in our home. The tiles are stylish and durable, giving the floors and bathrooms a modern and elegant look. The kitchen cabinets are beautifully designed with great storage and a neat finish. The marble benchtop adds a premium touch and has become one of the standout features of our kitchen. Our pre-start was so much fun and we ended up meeting Monique G who made our experience super enjoyable and easy. That was a very memorable day for us. Once again any time we wanted to change something or wanted some advice Monique was very knowledgable and always happy to help.

Once we moved into construction we had Tia M as our client liaison and Frank as our builder, from start to finish anytime we had a question or sent an email it was met with honesty, kindness and quick replies, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such fast customer service, and we always received that from Tia. The timeframes were always met and like clock work we moved into our home on the 9 month mark. We also found that Frank took so much pride in his work and when visiting our build we ran into him a couple of times, he was always so friendly, welcoming and always taking extra time to take us around, show us little bits and pieces and explain to us what’s to come and what to expect at the next stage. We always really enjoyed our interactions with Frank and found that he was very thorough due to his vast knowledge.

We have friends and family ask us, “oh you built, how did that go for you? You guys are brave”. And I literally look at them and say we had the most perfect experience from the very minute we walked into that display home to when we exited the HomeGroup building with keys in hand. My partner and I cannot fault them, we honestly did feel like a part of the HomeGroup family. Anyone we speak to that is considering building we always say HomeGroup!!! I want to make it clear we did shop around for some time before we committed to HG but we found that the pricing was amazing for the quality and design and the extras were great. We found some other deals just didn’t match up even without spending extra on the upgrades the standard specifications already had what we were after (kitchens are beautiful even prior to upgrades with lots of storage, upper cabinetry, laundry cabinetry and scullery standards are all immaculate).

Since moving in we are now in maintenance phase and like any new build we have had a minor blockage with new pipes which is normal in a new development area but the minute we send a notice to maintenance we had a plumber in by the hour and our roller door hinge got stuck early on, the same thing we had a maintenance person from centurion in under 12 hours (happened late on a Friday and fixed by 1pm Saturday).

This has probably been a novel to read but I know what it was like when we were at the beginning of building looking for the right people to build our home, we found that so I hope this review has helped someone out there in the same boat.
