From the get go, Richard Wetterhahn was fantastic. Having never built before, it was all quite overwhelming. However, he made the process clear and easy to follow. After making my choice, I dealt with Robyn Fahy. Her professionalism and kind, patient demeanour made me feel comfortable and at ease. Unfortunately, circumstances out of our control arose while I was overseas attending a funeral. Both Richard and Robyn were so wonderful with their compassion and understanding, but what really made my day, was that they told me not to worry and that they'd sort everything out for me. From Whoa to go Homebuyers have kept in touch with me about everything. Where the build is up to, what will happen next, any delays etc. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. Big shout out to Jo who was with me on prestart day where I had to choose all the colours, tiles etc. I was so nervous about making a mistake! Excellent Pre-sales and lovely Pre-construction team
Everything was of top standard. My New Homes Consultant is Jake Hickey . I am so happy that Jake took my original enquiry and guided me through to get to Pre-construction stage. We visited one of the Homebuyers Display's homes and met Desiré. We were still deciding on our first home and Des was proactive and very quick. We are very happy with the communication and the progress so far. She was patient with all my requirements and came back with a House and build package in our budget. We are still in the pre start stage but I believe Homebuyers Center will continue to deliver this level of customer service throughout our building journey.Show details

Professional and Honest!
We have built homes in the past and have found Homebuyers process very pleasurable so far. Our consultant, Brendan Tucek has been amazing throughout the process of deciding which home will suit our needs best and showing us alternative options when we were unsure or if we didn't like certain parts of the design. He explained everything in simple terms so that we were well informed and comfortable with putting our build in his and Homebuyers hands. Do not use Homebuyers
We went with Homebuyers as they guaranteed our house would be built in 10-12 months. We have received notice of 31 days delay total due to the weather and steel shortage (which is perfectly understandable) however, it will be 12 months in 3 weeks time and our house is only 20% complete with no reason why. They wont answer our phone calls or reply to emails with any information. We have asked them every month for an estimated completion date and no one will give a straight answer other than "it's too early to tell"...after 12 months of a 12 month build. The lack of honest communication has been so stressful for our family and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. Don't use them.Show details

I believe if the highest level of management see the strategy of the SW sale manager in Bunbury , they could possibly improve the way your good company is represented by stopping certain behaviours that according to my lawyer is deceiving , misleading and potentially fraudulent.
Could you please pass this to the appropriate person in charge at Dale Alcok / Hombuyers centre?

Just for your information:
I have been told by all the people I have communicated before you took you position ( 2 building supervisors and 2 site supervisors ) that the sand finish on the internal wall was not within the scope of work but no one could say why .
It seemed a set answer for everyone to give .
I have asked a builder friend of mine if he was aware of any reason but he could not see why . That is why I have asked you again to see if we can change the contract on that point.
In regards of the penalty rates
document that your sale manager is refusing to sign, just be aware that this is the document HE gave me when I asked him about penalty rates in case of delay.
Why on earth anyone rappresenting a company of the magnitude of Dale Alcock with all of its honest and hard working employees would give me a form of such importance if it did not apply to my case?
He certainly did not underlined this fact , he only said : this is what we do"...and with this statement I have trusted him together with the other statement of his that if I signed now ( mid November 2022 or there abouts) I was able to have the new house ready to go around Christmas 2023.
So you can see now just a couple of the reasons why I often regret having started this whole
process with this working group that I have chosen to trust.TRUST!
All of the above has been reinforced again when no one took 5 minutes of their time to communicate to me that the roof carpenters, that were booked for the last week of August , have now been delayed by two months at this stage.
Dear xyz, I have enjoyed taking to you everytime , you seem a very nice person so this is obviously not directed at you personally, but honestly
I no longer care about the sand finish on the internal walls , or the penalty rate document or when the roof carpenters are going to finish or when Dale Alcock/Home buyers centre is going to finish my house, so I won't bother you any more with any requests or questions.
I just feel that the above should become of general knowledge at the highest level of management so they can hopefully see the opportunity to improve things.

I am not happy the way homebuyers are about the problem my son has with his home.my son was away for 3 weeks and came home to this problem. Here is a list of the problems- 1.Around laundry area and in the family area.it was totally flooded .
2. The walls are covered in Mold and smells badly.
3. they said it was coming from laundry sink [ they haven't got anyone to check for leaks. the house is only 1year old.
4. they told me and my son that he has to dry the walls himself and to get the mold off. Its a totally disaster.
How can people blame my son for this [ of course he tried the fittings under laundry sink and he discovered the water was coming from there . For the amount of water that was on the floor and walls Isn't caused by the laundry sink. there must be a leak in wall because he wasn't home and no one used the water. So I would like a better response about this and to get it fixed as my son is now staying with me as it was making him sick. So how can they say its not there problem well i don't agree they built the house and they should get the builders out to fix it.

Hi just wondering if someone could help me….my husband has just spent 3 months in hospital,and then we get home from hospital to find our gyprock has come away from the beams apparently when the house was built,there was no glue put on,surely this should be monitored by somebody,not sure where we go from here
