My hot devil only burns when I point it upwards. When I point it down to kill weeds it cuts out. Any suggestions?

Have just broken the little wire that start the flame. Can this be replaced or do I need to buy another. Thanks

Just tried my new weed burner. It keeps cutting out & as such is of no use. Connected it to a large bottle with a 900mm extension. What should I be doing

Just got my new Hot Devil wand. tried to attach the gas cylinder to the wand but it will not insert into the cartridge even though I am lining up the gap in the plastic ring. do I have to take out the small metal piece held in with two screws first. David
Mine screwed in, I didn't take anything of, it was a bit fiddly and took a few goes to get the hang of it. Also, not that great for killing weeds but good for destroying seeds. I am using it in conjuction with weed killer. Spray the weeds then kill the seeds with the wand.

I think the jet has worn out cause the whole end turns in to a orange flame instead of sending a blue flame onto the weeds , and has burnt the starter . Dangerous won’t be using it again , waste of money !
After using the hot devil for a long period of time the main jet wears out. Where can i purchase a new jet??

The black plastic bracket holding the gas cannister is easily broken. Can I get a spare one to screw it onto the stalk?
I asked the same question when mine failed. The answer was no unfortunately. Hope you have better luck.
It's a pity that except for the plasticky cannister holder, the burner is still sturdy and reliable.
