What is the temperature range, can you make quality ice cream and i mean quality. I got an icecream machine and the ice cream comes out all grainy and gross, the fat splits and makes it taste odd.

Is this machine reliable and is there a service centre in Australia if problems arise? Thanks!

Hello, are there any plastic parts inside the jug or that come into contact with food? Eg at the base, or between the blades and base? And does the jug go in the dishwasher? Many thanks.

Mthe jug and blade is stainless, i put my jug in the dishwasher, and the lid is made from a type of plastic. I have seen somewhere that it is bpa free, possibly on FB

The 12 month warranty is for commercial use. The Australian Consumer Law was listed under the Consumer Warranty paperwork, which makes sense as the ACL tends to outlast most warranties now anyhow. If you go to the ACCC website, it gives you a nice dot point list of the ACL rights you have.

Hi,

Is it easy to put the lid on and off? In some of the videos it looks like you have to put quite a bit of oressure to clip in the sides of the lid etc

I have arthritis, which is why I am asking.

Glenda.

It has a clip on each side that you pinch to open, similar pressure to squeezing the end of a peg to open it. As it's sealed, I've found getting the lid off easy and once the clip is loose it just lifts up at the seal pushes it up.

Getting it on takes more pressure as it's sealed, but I actually use my palm of my hand and press down as it's faster and I don't have strong fingers.

So in terms of getting it off, it depends on which knuckles and motions the arthritis affects as to whether you'll have issues (eg. My aunt can squeeze things but can't twist things). If you hold a peg on it's side and squeeze the end of it to open it up, you shouldn't have an issue, and you can use your palm like I do to put the lid on.
