Site scrape to handover took 9.5 months, led by Matt & thanks also to Jackson for assistance in the bumps along the way. Matt & the team of trades have done a fantastic job and on handover we were presented with a home that we absolutely love.

The pre-site admin team, Marnie and Mel, were beyond amazing. Their efficiency and professionalism ensured everything was organised perfectly before the build even began. A huge shoutout to Steph, the draftee, whose impeccable attention to detail made my floor plan absolutely perfect. She captured every little detail I wanted, and the result speaks for itself.

Eloise, the interior designer and colours specialist, is nothing short of phenomenal. Her eye for detail, style, and practicality brought my vision to life. I couldn’t have done it without her expertise!

Once we were on-site, Jackson, the construction manager, was incredible, ensuring every stage of the build ran smoothly. Every single trade involved was fantastic—professional, skilled, and so respectful of our home. But a special mention must go to Ian, our site manager. Ian is nothing short of a superstar. His attention to detail and the personal touches he added throughout the build were simply unmatched. It’s clear he takes immense pride in his work, and it truly shows in the finished product. Once the build commenced, we were kept well informed by both the Building and Site Supervisors right through the entire process. We had 2-3 queries/concerns during the build process and the Site Supervisors that we dealt with each time were swift and professional in their response and we were able to meet an agreeable/positive outcome on each occasion. Many of the 'standard' items in the Hudson Ridge range were already on our 'wish list', so everything just seemed to fall into place. The final cost was basically the same as the original expected cost. We are extremely happy with the quality/design of the construction and the entire process.

we thought we would have a look. It was a plan that we had previously looked at but had decided against until we actually walked through it. We went to the Hudson Ridge display and met J. who we would meet with many times over the next few weeks. J. was sensational to work with. He was patient with us and all our questions, he responded when he said he would, and he had the plan altered to our requirements. He allowed for us to include touches that made the home “Ours” and not just a repetition of a standard plan. We soon agreed to the build and cost and the plan started to become real. We met S. in the Hudson Ridge office in Sturt Street who went through the contracts with us clarifying points and who would become our main contact during the build process. S. was a delight to work with. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and informative. S. put up with our questions, dealt with our many variations through the build and assisted in resolving any questions. She even kept us informed on what action was expected to be completed every week once the build started. We attended the Geelong Hudson Ridge Showroom to finalise colours, finishes, fittings and the myriad of other things that go into a new home. We were guided by N who ensured we coordinated our selections so we would be happy with the end result. And we are extremely happy with our choices. R was our Site Supervisor. He too was friendly, helpful, approachable and extremely competent. He was great to work with and kept things on track and ensured the job was completed to a high standard. He ensured the build was completed with a minimum of fuss. Any issues were communicated and resolved; all variations were included as requested the house was completed to a high standard and in great time.
