Do I need to take the deck off to replace the belt on LTH19530?
Hi Vicki I have been able to do it by myself with deck on. It's a bit tricky and I used car ramps to get the front end of the ride on about 350-400mm above the ground just for better access. Not absolutely necessary though.Make sure bricks are chocking up the back wheels and brakes on too. It's then a matter of working on the pulleys to getting the belt on. Get assistance to make it easier. There should be a diagram on the side of ride on showing the belt configuration. Otherwise google it. Good luck! Cheers Dave
Hi Vicki, Whilst it is possible to try the method suggested by Dave, the recommendations from the factory as shown in the owner’s manual (page 24) is to remove the cutting deck because in practice it makes the process easier and reduces the risks associated with jacking the whole tractor. Additionally, the belt can be routed correctly around the deck pulleys so that it only needs to be fed around the engine pulley when the deck is re-installed.
I borrowed an LTH 19530 yesterday and found to get reverse I had to literally stand up on pedal to move ever so slowly backwards. It won't go anywhere on a slight incline, like if yr up against a fence. Is there any adjustment on reverse??
I think I've answered my own ?? I need drive and cutter belts!!
I put a new starter motor in and it keeps breaking the cog. What am I doing wrong!!!
Can you get a catcher for this model?
Is it possible to adjust the belt tension on the deck.
What drive system is in it
can i stlll get parts for husqvana LTH 19530
eBay Most mower shops
engine stopping when in reverse going forward no problem
turn the blades off.
the mower wont go in reverse when the blades are engaged.
You must turn the ignition key to the ROS (reverse operation system) position when reversing. 1 click counter clockwise from the on position. Don't forget to turn back to the ON position to go forward. It will cut in reverse as long as you do this. It's in the owner's manual.
how to test the starter motor
Starts up no worries but will not move forward or backwards when I push on the pedal.
is the lever at the rear pushed in?
Having this problem now. Cause, snapped drive belt.
Can you put a catcher on this model
What is the length of the drive belt on the LTH19530 ? Thankyou.
What tyre pressure is needed in front tyres?
I run about 20 psi in all tyres and I add some water in the rear to help with traction
why does my belt keep on coming off.fitted new one same result
Bent pulley and spindle
motor ok blade working but no response re pedal forward or back?
10 years old has been good other than belts coming off etc.

How to refit belt on the Lth 19350?
i went to cut the grass the over day and when i dropped the deck the motor went bang and stalled and would not start again when i turn it over it just back fires kind up sounds like the timing is out now i have checked the fly wheel key way looks fine i have changed the head gasket thinking it might be that i have now pulled the motor out to check the cam as i have heard that it can strip when put under load but it looks fine has any one had this happen to them? its only do 100hs piece of crap
Hi there. You are right. They are crap. At a guess, it sounds to me like you may be bent your crankshaft. I did this on my LTH19530. It is easier to do than people realise. If you stop the engine under load (while mowing for example) this can do it or if you drop the deck when the engine is not at high RPM. As can hitting the drive pulley at the bottom of the engine on an obstacle (tree stump or similar). The 19530 is particularily prone to this because it is belt driven whereas the bigger machines only use a pulley to drive the blades, not the forward motion.
thanks mate i have it all pulled down so i will check the crank tomorrow they are a pretty basic engine so should not be to hard to find whats wrong
Strange........ the engine is the only good part of this mower - normally they are really reliable. Everything else though is crap
i found the problem these motors have a real problem with the rocker arms coming lose they need to be checked all the time or you will end up bending the valves and costing you money so if you have one check the valve clearance when ever you do a service
Price on mulched for lth 19530 please?
Best to ask a dealer, not a product review site !
is it worth buying one,and what is the wattanty?
It's my first one but not before much in the way of research. Keep it clean and shedded and all should go well. My previous three got to be hard to get parts for or, as my youth declined/reclined, I had more trouble working on them. This one has done 50 trouble free hours so far without any issues. Fresh fuel is a must also.

I would be quite happy buy another, but remember they are not built like a greenfield, or cox. If you are going to run into protruding rocks and tree roots then you will have to straighten the mower deck, so if you have rough stuff buy one with solid deck, but if you have mostly lawn then no problem.
I would never buy another Husqvarna. The LTH series are very poorly designed (it seems specifically design for parts to fail) and the local dealers are appalling. Mine was junked after 4 years after the diff failed but had been plagued by electrical failures and deck weld problems
I bought a new D130 John Deere - far better mower
Can someone advise if the Lth19530 is a good mower?
Lth 19530 Mower: From my experience the mower is a good one for small flat sections---up to 4000 sq metres. The drawback in my case was the the build quality (2012) as I experienced a no of failures in the drive train, engine and tyre blowout within 66 hrs of use. However if Husqvarna
have changed there quality control it may be worth a consideration. Would I buy another one no
I have had my LTH1950 for almost 3 years or about 75 hours running time. Only used for domestic work on my 2700 sq meter block. I have not had any problems with the machine. I find it very good for tight corners, curves etc. I purchased the mulching attachment and it works brilliantly...no collecting and dumping of clippings....the lawn has never looked better as everything is returned into the lawn. Only cost is replacement blades when the mulching is not as fine as desired. I DO recommend this machine for smaller areas
I think the LTH series are rubbish. Mine had many electrical and deck weld problems - finally , after 4 years , the diff broke (a very poor design) & the mower was junked - it was too expensive to repair. I think the Husqvarna is designed to fail to sell more parts
I bought a John Deere D130 - far better mower
