Generally reliable service. Very rarely offline – I've been with iiNet for thirteen years. Initially the NBN service appeared to be throttled to 5Mbps and less but it has been great the last couple of years. amazing speeds that are available around the world, being limited to 12Mbps is just archaic. I could pay more for 25Mbps but I don't think I should have to.
Bit slow but works ok – Yes we have had outages in high wind and for no apparent reason speed is quite slow at times fluctuates depending on day is quite difficult to get through for technical assistance when required Show details · 1

Worst customer service and overall service – Worst internet connection that has been dropping out constantly and painfully slow for several weeks. They won’t fix or send technician out, just running the same useless tests fixing nothing. Show details
What happens when your contract finishes – I was on a $69 contact for 2 years, and as for customer loyalty, I wanted to continue with this price which included fetch tv and netflix. No the price they are charging me now is $74 a month just for my wireless broadband. I have to pay either $10 or $15 a month on top of this to Fetch TV who direct debit it from my account. from $69 a month to either $84 a month or $89 a month for the same service. Yet my neighbour could get the $69 a month contract deal. as a new customer!!! HOW is this fair to your existing customers. IINET. I rang your phone number and pressed the appropriate button to change plan, only to be told I would be being put through to someone who could help me. Guess where I ended up the customer support call centre (the number you ring with any issues). The lady there was not able to help me and was going to get me someone who could. 14 mins on hold and I had enough having already been on the phone for long enough prior to this. I do not blame the call centre workers. It is the business model that they use. I am also being threatened with disconnection of my account on the 22nd October if I do not pay the $5 even though I have paid $69 in advance(they took my money happily enough)! I doubt I could get it back as I paid for the october to November bill too in advance! Sigh
I was fairly happy with the internet. Though IINET never ever advise you when scheduled work is going to be done on the NBN or towers, even though they are told by NBN. So quite a few times over the last two years I have attempted to log on and no internet. Worst was I was sending important information to someone and midway through my internet went out. Scheduled work being done. I did not have access for five days! I could have sent it another way if I had known it was going to happen. I live remote rural in southern tasmania .

Arrogant and non-existent customer service – Our NBN fixed wireless service is pathetic, with speeds of 5Mbps or less in the evenings. Whilst I understand that iiNet have no control over the speed or delivery of the NBN service. What iiNet lack is any customer service whatsoever, they have untrained staff with an arrogant attitude. Fast connection for me. No problems – When I signed up. It was 59.95. then it went to 64.95. I had stop getting wireless broadband as it went past 60.00 for me. Then I signed up for mobile phone services on a special deal of 15.00 for 6 MTHS then 30.00. The internet service speed is just as fast as getting wireless broadband. I m pleasantly surprised. because the internet stops working in the morning until 10 am. Then around 1 pm to 5 pm. Optus services from using Coles mobile was the same problem too.
The staff mostly comprised of ppl from Philippines. They are trained to listen very well. They spoke fluently and slowed down for me as it's difficult to hear on the phone sometimes. To sign up services, I'm referred to south African staff. They are always professional and courteous. Well trained qualify staff with a good ear. I'm never disappointed.
I wish I knew sooner then I wouldn't need to pay for home wireless broadband.
Exemplary customer service – We've been with iinet for over 15 years now, and simply cannot fault their customer service. If ever there's an issue (rare indeed) their tech support is always willing and able to fix it. And any account changes, moving processes, etc are handled efficiently and effectively. Great mob! Reliable and regular – Service has had good regular high speeds, great when working from home. 11-12 mbs, so really happy, can't recall any drop outs. Phone service is always helpful, even when it's my error. Show details

This is good NBN. Come through clearly and helpful when I've had password problems – Could not recall Toolbox password and the follow up was polite and patient and worked. Allowed time for one like me who has little techie knowledge to make notes and get back to operative to check and then for her to make the changes I needed e.g. spelling my surname correctly. Stay away – Sadly there is no zero, one star is too much for this scamming company. Was charged all those surprise bills, which I wasn’t told off. Every time you try to call them you have to waste half of your day and still have unresolved issues. I’ve been using iiNet for 5 years, at the three different properties, had to change the provider for three of them. If you value your time and money, stay away from the this scammers. Show details

Would never recommend ! – I have never left a negative review but this time I am. Steer clear of this provider! Whilst being a customer , service I could not fault. Once I needed to cancel the service I have NEVER in my years experienced the worst customer service and blatant lies to pretend I didn't confirm to their cancellation process, leaving me with bills 2 months more than they should have been ! Internet & email – For the amount of use I have with online products, the speed and reliability has been excellent. There have been drop outs, but they have usually been of a short duration. My email service is great and any problems have been easy to resolve with one phone call. Show details · 1

Fantastic only minor problem and always fixed. Excellent customer service – Recently had dropouts called up and everything was checked (lines etc) after reset of modem it was found the modem was faulty. Webmail out for days. Three calls to support to no avail – Three calls to support to no avail. Told it should be back up by Christmas. Net space was good before iiNet came along. Unable to log on to webmail for so long is disgusting. Have spoken to Nadine, Mitch and Lebanese over last 30 hours but all I get is promises, no action. really reliable ,hardly ever drops out – I have been with them since aapt days and was a seemless changeover ,always had good service if I needed anything sorted out, like today when my computer crashed and I needed to retrieve my emails. Show details · 1
Meets all of our requirements adequately – Very reliable with rare dropouts well handled by iiNet. Slow download speeds in the early days of NBN connection have been improved with close to 11/12 on average being normal. I am a very happy customer thanks. Show details · 1
