Generally works well, have had to reset my router twice in two weeks to gain more speed. Have not had any real drop-outs, occasional hang-ups on watching streamed programs probably due to congestion, and as I am using the Foxtel cable option this ought not to be the case.
unfortunately there is no alternative. I was quite happy with my ADSL system
no problems overall. Up till now minimum calls to rectify a problem over 4/5 years of NBN.
Frustratingly the pc jams, goes slow or can not get a app on occasions. Patience is required.
Much quicker than our ADSL
Took the plunge about 2 weeks ago and connected to the NBN via our FTTC connection, after being on ADSL plus for approx 10 years or more. I started with Adam Internet who then sold to iiNet and is now Westnet as well. The delivery of the NBN box and modem was extremely quick and came with all the information I needed to set it up. Worked very well from the beginning, I just needed help setting up the modem and received very prompt and useful advice from the lady on the phone. As advised our home phone number came over too and we were only off line for a few days until Telstra did their thing. Its just my husband and I, we both have laptops, tablets and mobile phones and find they all work well with the NBN. Needless to say the speed is so much quicker than ADSL. To date we've had no dropouts and help from the Company has been great. Highly recommend.
Customer service sets iiNet above other providers
iiNet is my third internet provider and I have found their customer service to be far better than my other two providers. Each time I have needed assistance from iiNet my call has been answered by a person willing to both listen to my issue and work to resolve it. They have also been polite, and helpful, and have fixed each issue promptly.
Been fine up untill 2 months ago,lately it has been continually failing The ond redeeming factor is that when contacted they were helpful although it did take 12 hours most times. .
A lot better than my previous adsl connection
Adequate and reliable for my needs,have not had to call iinet for any service issues,previous adsl was quite slow am very happy,streaming to two devices simultaneously is no problem and no dropouts

IInet has been my one and only internet service provider for the best part of thirty years.
There were a few teething troubles with NBN; all speedily dealt with. There have been no major drop-outs; a few short disconnections but mainly due to my modem/computer end.
iinet has always given me outstanding technical support. Their staff have been patience personified and they have left me happily connected and operating whenever I've had to call upon them.
Excellent customer service
I have found the NBN and other services offered by iiNet extremely reliable. I run the service over several appliances from tv to computer to phone to iPad and find there is consistent performance. Best of all though is costumer service who are very supportive and have excellent communication skills. I highly recommend this service and it would be my first choice in any future telecommunications NBN broadband or satellite requirements.
Know Your Modem
Generally reliable NBN connection, apart from brief occasional drop outs. Recently I appreciated the step-by-calm-step tech support that was able to track down a problem that proved to be an accidental home disconnection. Wish I had called sooner! Side table with modem had toppled over and possibly jammed the modem. The design of the top of the modem disguised the fact it also had a "button" to be pushed, not just the one at the back.
I have moved with the times an iinet!
I have been with iinet since the dial up days. I have moved houses and states and each transition whether location or technology has been ably supported by the tech crew. No great waits on the phone, knowledgeable people who fix any issues quickly.
I am a low volume user. The plan I chose meets my needs perfectly.
The system is as reliable as it has been when I had ADSL 2. I had no issues at all. Support staff were excellent and prompt. I am a low volume user. iinet staff advised me appropriately about the plan to choose. It works perfectly. My regards to all.

I have been a customer with iinet for more than 18 years. So when it came time to make a choice, there was no other choice. So far the service is excellent.
NBN is very good
Connection is very reliable.
I have called iinet a few times and each time the friendly and professional staff were able to solve my technical issues immediately.

NBN versus ADSL
The download speed is only slightly faster than my previous ADSL and the upload speed is slower. I need to compliment Usrah Sait (Technical Support) in helping me to connect.
More than satisfied - Does everything I need
A couple of times over the last 20+ years the email authentication server(?) stopped working for a short while otherwise the service has been faultless. The lack of caller id on the NBN HFC connection has been really annoying but we are learning to live without it. (this took iinet support staff by surprise too)
Unsure if it is NBN 12 but whatever it is it is fine.
Seems to be reliable and I haven't experienced any dropouts. Very pleased with the telephone assistance that I received recently. No one from NBN (?) has come into my house, but I think I have fibre to the node. I will have to rely on your advice..

Review of the changeover from ADSL to NBN
The NBN was only connected on 15th July. (Yesterday) It is working as expected, I was happy with ADSL, & there does not appear to be any difference in the performance. I don't use the internet to watch movies, so I have not tested the speed of downloads. The installation happened as per the appointment, & the NBN installer explained how it was going to work, & we moved my fixed line phone from one modem to the new modem. I set up the WIFI , which was simple, but the password printed on the modem was difficult the read.
have been with IInet almost 9 years now and only recently experienced a couple of outages which were not their fault but that of a large construction site close to us. During these periods they were there to help. Any time I have a wanted advice they were only a few minutes away and dealt with matters quickly and proficiently keep up the good work.
Have always been very pleased with iiNet
I have been with iiNet since 1994 and while some of my friends use other service providers and have had lots of trouble like poor on-line help iiNet have always been there for me and have usually sorted out problems, some of which have been of my own making on my first call for assistance. The call centre staff are the most cheerful, patient and friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of contacting. I can and do recommend iiNet to friends and associates. How anyone can complain about the iiNet serves beats me!
I have been with iinet (and ozemail) for 14 years and have always found them helpful, friendly and good value. The new NBN is great. I would definitely recommend iinet to anyone.
