I have bought two couches, have paid for delivery, was told it would be on 20/5/2020, have not received goods as yet it is now the 3/6/20. I have tried ringing customer service and my arm has fallen off from holding phone for so long. Do not expect ontime delivery from Ikea at the moment, and do not expect to speak to a real person in a hurry either. I am so disappointed with Ikea.
Having searched the internet for a cabinet to fit a very narrow space next to our vanity, the Ikea Helmer metal cabinet with 6 drawers is perfect. Being a female senior the flat pack was a little heavy to place on the trolley but I managed. However, it was easy to assemble, the drawers slide well, it fits perfectly and looks good. I'm very pleased!
Wasted two trips to buy a bed, went to buy a bed didn’t have,said you could buy on line went home to buy on line and web site says you have to go in store to buy.

After spending some time in lockdown due to the COVID-19 finally at the end of May I decided to visit the IKEA store at Marsden Park in order to get some furniture. I always loved their product and would shop there quite often.
Just before entering the store I was told by the security personnel that IKEA stopped accepting Cash payments and Card payments would be the only option to be used.
My DISAPPOINTMENT was so great that I left immediately and decided not to shop at any IKEA store ever again.

Exceptional Customer service
Amazing staff at outside collection point,so impressed with the girls at point of contact and can't say enough how helpful the staff were, in these covid 19 times these staff members are making the best of it ,ill be back IKEA great job,great staff,looking forward to coming back.They even were collecting rubbish and trolleys between customer service.
Keep up the good work Adelaide staff.
Don’t waste your time with buy back offer
Took back two poang footstools after completing online buy back form saying they were in used condition. When I arrived I tracked down an employee in the loading unloading area and asked where I needed to take them. He asked to look at them first and he barely looked at them and said they weren’t acceptable and not to bother taking them up to be assessed as they would reject them.
I asked what was wrong with them as I thought they were in really good condition and he said pet hair - which there wasn’t any and that they couldn’t wash fabric so...don’t like to sell it second hand. If that’s the case put it in the terms and don’t waste peoples time and fuel taking the item back. When I got home I rang them to complain only for more time to be wasted - they said the employees decision is final and basically nothing else they can do. I feel like they just want to fob people off and the buy back is just a hollow promise.

Guys in the store are helpful and knowledgable as they can help with finding the things from the warehouse even.
Going to ikea is a whole experience, the meatballs; the endless assortment of furniture and other items. Good quality and well priced items. Bought my desk from ikea, it's very good and has lasted a while.

Ordered several items online for click and collect. Not notified about an item that I paid for that was unavailable at pick up time. Ikea should have contacted us about this! I live too far to drive back! Not happy. Now waiting half an hour on phone to sort it out
This Store is a Disgrace and Risk to shoppers
we attended this store yesterday afternoon and there was NO regard for shoppers health with respect to COVID19,social distancing and enforcement by security on site.
We questioned Staff and security who simply shrugged their shoulders as if COVID19 did not even exist,,it was business as ususal as far as they were concerned with people anywhere adn everywhere in teh store,walking in every direction with prams,trolleys,children as if it was a social outing.

Bed Frame, Mattress
I bought Ikea Queen Bedframe MALM with Mattress on 2/5/20 with delivery option. I was promised for delivery on 3/5/20 on the Invoice. It finally partially delivered on 4/5/20 with no reasons for partial delivery. After trying hours for their contact center and listening all rubbish from the automated phone options, finally I was able to speak to the Customer Care and they told missing bed frame is due to out of stock and advised me to keep checking with Ikea after few days and request them to resend the missing part. Customer care never acknowl...edged that they will make sure to deliver the missing part and stating that it is customer responsibility to keep following up till the delivery of the missing part and I am still chasing them for the whole week spending lot of time and unable to reach their contact centers as the phone continuously busy and my problem still not resolved. Ikea products may be good but their supply chain, customer care is so pathetic and made me losing the trust on Ikea brand.

A Screw Loose
Opened box containing frame to put together, 6 screws missing, the box has a hole in it with loose items inside,see photo. Also brackets missing to hang picture. I don’t want to go back to change, no one there to help on day of purchase and getting in and out of the Tempe store was a nightmare...oh fairly easy to assemble but hope it stays together, and bunnings has bracket
Ikea can't refuse your cash, legally!
At the time I wasn't aware of this official statement from Australia Mint but had I knew it would've changed the outcome. I totally wasted my time, petrol and energy going there with my cash. Unfortunately you can't post anything on their facebook page or contact a person because everything is online, right! But here is the proof:
Wish I could make this public - to shame their attitude. Businesses CAN NOT refuse your cash - print this page and let them call their manager.
Refund was pain free and quick
Had lost my receipt for some brackets I purchased for the windows. The service attendant was pleasant and offered a store credit. It was quick easy and satisfying. Love ikea!
One of my Favourite Stores of all Time
The customer service? Fantastic. The food and drinks available at the restaurant? Absolutely delicious. The quality of the products? Amongst the best and most reliable items I have ever purchased. My family and I have, and always will, love Ikea and it’s welcoming atmosphere. We often go to this store for their incredible breakfasts before exploring their vast range of products which suitor for all buyers. I truly commend this store for their dedication towards ensuring that the quality of the products and the customer service remain applaudabl...e regardless of the product’s incredible prices. We always leave the store with a trolley full of wonderful items at amazing prices and a stomach full of delicious food. I am very excited to shop in store again after quarantine has ended :)
Terrible Kitchen Quality and Warranty
Within 3 years of having a new ikea kitchen our cabinets have begun to flake like wheetbix and the sink has chipped around the edges. Warranty replacement was requested and rejected due to "excess water in the kitchen" Last time i checked we never had a flood inside the house and of course we mop but we dont swim in the bloody water. Terrible service avoid buying a kitchen from these clowns full stop
Terrible customer service and faulty product
Purchased set of drawers via click and collect. Drawer runners were made of cheap plastic and faulty (would not sit flat). Took the item back to North Lakes. Staff offered a refund card, what they did not explain is that it cannot be used for online purchases, or even click and collect. Called Customer Service and after waiting for an answer for 20 minutes, they confirmed the refund card cannot be used for click and collect/ delivery. This was not explained at time of item return. Very misleading and disappointed with the lack of transparency.

Click and collect - don’t do it
Very bad click and collect service. Did this twice, first time booked the time in, but waited 50 mins. Guys where very disorganized. Second time received a text confirming order ready to pick up that day. Called in to check it was and they said yes, so went in. I’m still waiting in my car now after 45 mins. Called from the car from car bay twice now- still no sign. Seriously. I don’t understand what’s so hard?? Not worth the hassle dealing with them.
Missing a box from order for a Month
Ordered several different big furniture items. Delivery guys ask to sign without giving time to check the order and then took off. I realized too late that the sofa was supposed to be in 3 separate boxes and they only delivered 2. Despite several e-mails exchanged with customer support I'm still missing that box after a month. They say the item was out of stock and they would contact me when back in stock, all excuses because checking online gives the item in stock and I still haven't heard from them.
If it wasn't for the customer support, stock problems and delivery process this would be a 5 star reviews, because the furniture is good value for money and not too hard to put together.

if i organise to return assembled item, how long does it take for it to be picked up and how do i arrange for full refund?
We have been to Ikea Logan 3 times over the past 5 weeks and on every occasion we found their bathrooms unclean (both the parents and adult bathrooms) also with no paper towels available. The overall impression was that bathrooms haven't seen a cleaner in a long time or the cleaner lacks attention to detail. One would expect it to be immaculate upon arriving just after opening hours. Comparing bathrooms from shopping centres, Ikea disappoints.
