We recently purchased fitted sheets and pillow covers from a store. Upon opening them at home, we were surprised to find the pillow covers were unusually large, resembling body pillow covers. Was asked to leave my name and wait 45 mins for customer service and that I was 6th in queue. Was given a food voucher for use at the cafe while we waited. Tried to find way back to cafe (got lost twice) but cafe would not accept voucher anyway. Tables filthy. Made way back to wardrobes and was called up to be served, but it was discovered that the wardrobes I’d researched online had doors unavailable (there were no issues with unavailable doors flagged online, however) so I had to select different doors. Then discovered the actual cost of the wardrobe was significantly greater than online advertising - although I’m still struggling to know why.
I was then advised to join the family member in order to receive a 15% discount which I did in-store. On the way out, I noticed large advertising that new members were entitled to a $10 voucher… but at the registers, despite scanning the new member QR, this $10 was not applied. I Went looking for a customer service member …When I found one he said this was because there is minimal to no internet connection in -store m, so the $10 email voucher would not have come through to me. So much for the $10 advertising.
I spent $1346.00 in the store on a required large wardrobe, but will never return to IKEA.

Upon arriving for my scheduled collection slot on Monday, I was informed that my order was prepared but I would need to wait an additional 5-10 minutes. This wait extended to over half an hour. I was then informed that most of my ordered items were out of stock, and I would be refunded for the unavailable products. This experience has caused me significant inconvenience and frustration, and it reflects extremely poorly on IKEA’s service and reliability.
If IKEA cannot ensure that pre-ordered items are reserved and available for collection at the scheduled time, then the purpose of this service is entirely undermined. This situation is not just inconvenient; it is infuriating.

After 5 hours of waiting with zero communication from Kings Logistics in Melbourne who were delivering the item, got called about “failed delivery”. Explained that I had been home the whole day and received no communication from the company so failure not on my part. Rebooked for earliest available which was the next morning. Another six hour wait for the delivery only to contact IKEA and be told that the delivery had not after all, been rebooked and that I would have to wait another 2 days for the processing.
Contacted King logistics who said that they operated on a half day service on the public holiday so made “some” deliveries the. Presumably listing the undelivered items as “failed “, bearing no responsibility for prioritising or delivering the items.
At this stage - ZERO confidence that my purchased items will be delivered. Unwilling to be unconvinced for a third day to see whether (or not) my items will ever be delivered when supposed to.
All staff involved obviously couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction so cancelled order and will take business to a more professional company.
Don’t bill anything with IKEA!!!

Never buy IKEA mattresses – I bought a high end mattress at IKEA and was 25 years warranty. 3 years into the mattress became mouldy in the bottom. IKEA refused to honour their warranty, the reason was environmental. Anyway whatever reasons is good enough for them.
