with no compensation mentioned in the contract, While we lost so much money in rent and additional payments to bank. Everyone is lying in their office, and good luck communicating with them. No one replies to any emails or calls.
After the handover, we sent a three-month maintenance report in March and have been trying to establish a clear communication line with someone from their office since then. No one replies to any emails, and every time we call the office, there is no one available to talk to except for the reception staff, who have no clue what they are doing. GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE BUILDING YOUR HOME WITH THESE GUYS.
Worst builder!! Think twice before building with them – Worst customer service. Once handover is done warranty means no-thing. Good luck to get things fixed if any concern rises. Zero responsibility towards any trade works carried out. They will pass you contact number of tradesperson and you have to follow up with them if any problem and good luck to get it fixed under so called warranty period. Very bad experience, too slow ,badly Managed loss of time, Money – Took more than 2 years ,and hand overed with out finishing some works .really had enough calling office and sending emails. glass meant to be free standing with bolts on, office said it Will be 3 months wait time if we need this type while this upgrade made at initial stage with all delays you didn't get time to order the items. Well we said yes to this with no other Choice.. But didn't get the house by Christmas blaming south east waters. And by this time 95 %construction was finished.. I had been told that 3rd week of January 2023 I will have keys. But after second week didn't see the previous site supervisor, then comes the new team...its been nearly 3 Months till today hardly few small jobs done. Southeast waters Tank installation preparation been a big joke.. Firstly concrete not done properly with plumbing pipes, then concrete cut and removed, concrete done for second time with missing drain again. Portion of concrete cut again to provide missing plumbing and now waiting on concrete to go again.. What a fantastic understanding of work Then gutter... Its not prepared to requirements like gutter stops and gutter guard were missed. This new team said they searched all over Victoria for gutter people do this job but didn't get any I have to organize some one to do this after all this I'm still waiting my touch job and tank installation to complete. After all this messes and delays I'm paying 5k a Month excess on my bank loan interest And been forced to move out from my previous house as this guys not given my house in time. You are not only building the house there is so much connected with this like our financial, emotional, health and well beings. We had sent number of mails to admin requesting to meet the owner but they didn't replay or get an appointment Need owner attention and our house keys as soon as possible. 4 months after handover Im still walking out of my bed room in the middle of the night with a pillow when ever there is high winds. Love our new home – From the Colour Consultation right through to the build, we had a fantastic experience with Infinity Homes. The team was super helpful and communication was great. Choosing Infinity is the start of your nightmare, not your home – I cannot express how disappointed and miserable I am by choosing Infinity. Before paying them, everything looks fine. completed and promised the house would be completed very soon. But after you authorize the progress payment, they start to have all excuses for work delays. They already asked for payment till the fixing stage, but it still has problems left for the lock-up stage. This is illegal! 2. My construction work started in Oct 2022, just a single-storey house. It has been 16 months. They still don't have a timeline that when it can be completed. 3. According to the contract, they are supposed to pay you liquidation damage (only $250) due to work delay. But they ignored your request and said DBDRV does not mind about this after COVID. So they won't pay. 4. Every time I went to the construction site, they are a lot of rubbish in the front and backyard. They tell you it will be cleaned on the second day, never happens! 5. They have changed 4 site managers in this one job. All previous site managers barely take your call and never give you a progress update. The new site manager Terry is currently being responsible and at least taking calls and being honest with me. Please keep it Terry, don't like the previous site managers after a few months.
There are too many things I want to complain about and hope you don't make the same mistakes as me. The way that they deal with customers is ruining people's family. Another advance to people who are in a similar situation like me, don't pay them after they fully complete your part.

process has been frustrating, slow, and full of faults since then. I am a family man and have been unnecessarily stressed by Infinity Homes. It is clear that Infinity Homes Australia do not care about the customers and does not provide responses if we ask any questions. The site manager, [Name Removed], never answered the phone. In some cases, he responded, and he promised to give a call back; however, it never happened. I had to deal with his lies throughout the construction period. They changed supervisors twice without my knowledge, and when I called them, there was no response.
Infinity has been in breach of contract as they sent the progress payment invoices even though the work of that stage was not yet completed.
When we questioned the quality of the work and the list of default items picked up by the Private inspector we hired, there was no response to verbal or email communication. When we met the supervisor/call the management, they showed defensive behaviour and gave excuses.
It is a single-story home, and now we are into 22 months; no notice was sent to us stating the reason for delaying the project, no reimbursement for default delays and no mention of when the job is expected to be completed. We contacted Infinity and requested the progress and cause of delay numerous times; however, no response was received.
We feel so helpless as the other houses in our street that started construction months after us are completed, and people have moved in. Our lesson is that If someone is looking to build a new house, please do not go with Infinity Homes Australia. The unprofessional, almost bullying behaviour by the Infinity management team (Eric) for payment without completion of work is appalling.
Until now, we have been calling and sending emails to Infinity just to get an update /give us the completion date, but they have no answer for this project’s completion date. So many aspects are connected to building a house for a family, including financial, emotional, health and well-being. Infinity has ignored all the above aspects when dealing with clients.
I have received an invoice for the final stage to pay without the Occupancy permit, which was sent a few days later even though the construction is not completed, like missing TV point, Study desk/nook, existing damage to walls, etc. I have organised the private Inspection with the Private Inspector. On Inspection, the private inspector has picked up a list of 129 defects. I have sent a few emails from my lawyers and me to Infinity and requested them to fix the listed defects. However, no satisfactory action has been taken since November 2023.
I have taken “Infinity Homes Australia” to VBA and had a few meetings with VBA to resolve the pending issues/defects/uncompleted work. Despite VBA involvement and mediation, Infinity has failed to resolve the pending issues/work to be completed. We have decided to take this matter further legally to the court. We will also take this issue on to social media and news channels to make others aware until my project is completed. Item 1 of the contract states the time for completion, which states the following: • The building period includes 205 days of actual building work and the following estimates for delays: - Inclement weather and the effects of inclement weather 30 days - Weekends, public holidays, rostered days off and other foreseeable breaks in the continuity of the work 90 days - Other days that are reasonable with regard to the nature of the Building Work 25 days In total, 350 days include the days of actual building work and the estimates for delays from the commencement date, completed on 31 May 2023.
It is stipulated in Item 9 and Clause 40 of the contract that If the Building Works have not been completed by the end of the Building Period (350 days from the commencement date), the Owner is entitled to agreed damages in the sum of $250.00 per week.
Based on my experience and opinion, I am alerting everyone building with Infinity Homes. Please be careful with the “Infinity Home Australia “who is thinking of building in the future, and the people who already signed the contract. Please do not go to “Infinity Homes Australia”. They deserve zero stars "0" but give one star due to a somewhat positive experience with the salesperson. THIS BUILDER IS NOT RECOMMENDED HIGHLY.

completed in March 2023. Same thing happened again, the site supervisor [Name Removed] never picked up the phone and never replied the email. Then we contacted their so called CFO [Name Removed] and asked him to get involved. He asked us to pay the final payment even before final inspection and we refused and he threatened us if we submitted the complain to DBDRV, they will suspend the job. Further, they finally notified us the handover date and when we were there , there are still lots of things need to be done. They are always telling lies and hardly to get response.
The house is poorly done and have lots of defects that is the worst builder, our bathroom leaks only 2 months after handover and we are still waiting for them to fix it, the site supervisor [Name Removed] made the appointment with us but did not attend. This has been happened so many times.
I have list the problems that we have below : water meter pipe has blended screws not installed properly skirting/grouting missing poor paint job on the door frame and wall, paint touch ups not done properly paint residuals over many places carpet not fixed/ installed properly big gaps found on the backyard crackers and gaps on bricks door cannot properly closed and needs rollers backyard topping poorly done general cleanliness issues in many places, e.g. veranda, garage, frontyard DO NOT TRUST THIS BUILDER.

hallway - Uneven plaster work to top of fridge cabinetry - No calking done to kitchen (where cabinetry meets the bulkhead) - No lead flashing to front facade (where it connects to the roofline) - Ducted heating does not turn on - Front render to the front of the facade not complete, and blueboard not installed correctly
My main concern is that the front rendering to the facade has not been complete, and the house looks very ugly from the street. They keep telling me that things will be done, but nothing gets done. My house sits there, neglected. I am contemplating calling in a lawyer to help assist, but I have no other options at this stage as Infinity refuses to give me any timelines on when the work will be finished.
I do not recommend this builder at time of writing and urge everyone to tread with caution.

and knows quite a lot about the product she is selling. For our meeting, she drove for 40 minutes to meet me at their headoffice and even made me a cup of coffee. Small gestures, sure, but this should tell you that infinity home is no ordinary builder; it has the vibe of a tight knitted family that will look after you from start to finish.
There are builders who don't know how many down-lights are included, fail to provide colour documentation in a timely manner, and deliberately under-quote you to get you to put down a deposit. I can happily say that my experience with Infinity Home, brief as it may be, was nothing of the sort.
If you want to build a home in Melbourne, and you're looking for a custom builder that provides transparent and informative pricing information, I recommend giving infinity home a chance. It is a builder with a focus on transparency, honesty, and impeccable customer service. When the building industry is going to the toilet, and volume builders are at risk of going bust, you should look for builders with transparent pricing, salesperson like Arti with a proven track record of honesty and kindness.

Infinity and beyond – I love the quality of the house handed over to me by Infinity. Good custom builder, made 22 square home in South-East – Good managed, workmanship and quality is ok. Some major issues handled in a good way and builder is cost effective. During the construction period, they kept me updated all the time and in each major stages, we got some photos of our house so we understood the progress and if any issues, that needs to be addressed.
