my control, where I believed I was covered for these costs due to this travel insurance policy. $50 per 12 hour period cannot cover a persons overnight accommodation and food anywhere in Australia, especially on Lord Howe Island. I paid double for the policy for what my sister paid for her Qantas policy and she got all her extra food and accommodation reimbursed.

I have taken quite a number of bare essential domestic cruise policies and to date one international gold policy. I have been fortunate that I never needed to claim but I have every confidence that should that happen it will be an easy straightforward process without complications.
