support the most. They tend to over-promise during phone conversations, yet fail to deliver in a timely manner. They assure you that "they can support you and you are their top priority, so do not worry; they simply need the medical certificate." However, until you provide the medical certificate, their communication is incessant—calling and emailing you every few hours. Once you submit the certificate, their correspondence abruptly ceases. We reached out to them, and they assured us, "we will call you back in 1-2 hours," yet no such call made. Shortly thereafter, we received an email stating they could not contact us due to an incorrect phone number. How is it possible that they were able to call us consistently prior to receiving the certificate, yet now they cannot? We needed to upgrade our flights upon the surgeon's recommendation, but we refrained from doing so because this insurance company failed to provide us with guidance until we returned to Australia. While en route, they inquired, "are you still overseas or in Australia? You need to upgrade your flights. If you do, please send us the new itinerary." They seem to revel in paperwork! There was no support or direction. It was utterly absurd! My husband faced considerable difficulty returning without an upgrade. This insurance company exacerbated our situation, creating more stress than we could have possibly anticipated. I sincerely hope that no one else falls into this trap.

Unlimited overseas medical, including emergency evacuation back to Australia when medically necessary. Extras the cheaper policies left out: travel delay, delayed baggage, passport replacement, rental car excess cover, hospital cash and loss of income.

I haven’t made a claim yet, so this reflects the purchase and the policy terms, not claims service. I’ll update this review after the trip.

Wouldn’t use them again that’s for sure , put in 2 claims that we thought were both going to be paid ,one was for missed accommodation due to a cancelled flight, no sorry we won’t pay that & the second was for a medical issue due to medication getting frozen in a faulty fridge sorry we won’t pay that, did finally pay the second after a massive fight with them . I must say the price was competitive hence i bought it but i didn't realise when it comes to claims there is a lack of communication. i submitted my claim and only get reply’s after a week for more documentation and then another week or 2 before the next communication for more documentation. from claim to approval took about 6 weeks. i will not recommend them if you want to have your money back in a reasonable time frame. Show details
