Be aware that their cruise insurance only covers cruises that depart from Australia - however this is NOT mentioned anywhere in their PDS. When you go to their website for a quote, you can choose a Cruise policy and it asks which countries you are travelling to. place that mentions that their policy ONLY covers cruises that leave from Australia. It is possible therefore to buy a policy for an overseas cruise that does not leave from Australia and believe that you are covered when you are not. This is a huge risk, as in the event of medical evacuation from a cruise ship, you would have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars. My cruise left from Singapore so when we came back, realised we would not have been covered - despite reading the PDS thoroughly, it did not mention this in regards to medical treatment. It did say we weren't covered for missed cruise departure as it said, "your cruise from Australia" - I was happy to take that risk as I was aware this was something they didn't cover. However I would not have been happy to purchase the policy if I had known cruises that depart from outside Australia weren't covered. Be careful.

Impressed – I have had to cancel my cruise around coast from Capetown to Richard's Bay and back due to very unexpected. medical problems. Dodgy and purposely put me through torture for months denying my refund for cancelled cruise – Went through hell for months and back and forth trying to get my refund when cruise got cancelled (cancelled months in advance). This company makes it so easy and efficient to purchase a policy but will not pull through when it’s time to claim or refund - unreliable, unethical and overall a Nightmare

Have to have travel insurance – Policy is expensive and I only use insure and go for international travel. Probably this has been over a period of 10 years and I believe some form of reduction in price is worthy for regular users Show details

Change of policy cover without issues – Had to speak to an operator as we wanted to change the dates of our cover. There were a couple of issues because of the new system but the operator worked out a solution without any issue. We had to take out a new policy and cancel the original policy but we were assured a refund would be received within two weeks.
